As a Holy Priest, this is probably the second best helm if you value intellect>spririt>crit rating. Yes, the tier bonus is tailored to spriests but if you are going for raw stats I would pass on Crown of Faith (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40447).

Gem this with an Insightful Earthsiege Diamond (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=41401) and a Brilliant King's Amber (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40123) for the slot bonus of additional Crit. Replace the Brilliant King's Amber with a Luminous Flawless Ametrine (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40151) to stack your healing stats some more.

For Holy Priests

It compares, but if you are giong deep holy, and want loads of crits, so you can procc your nice talents, then this is ten times greater than the holy version: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40447 And you will still be able to get the 4-set bonus from holy, if you are aiming for that.

A smart thing about all that crit, is that you are almost secure to get a crit procc on your Circle of Healing: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=48088.

Alot priests thinks that Cowl of Innocent Delight: https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40247 is better. But it surely isn't! It is ofc a ncie start item, till you get the Tier 7.5 token, but it has no meta gem, and has a lack of crit, wich you woul want very much, if you are going to be highest on holy meter. If youre geared well enough, you won't need the mana regen from Cowl of Innocent Delight, though if youre having problems with going oom, then choose the Cowl.

I will vote for this one to any holy priest in game.
