Got out-rolled on this by a Shaman. I am a Druid and since it has spirit, I was not pleased. Also, I'm kinda tired of people saying that resto druids can't use crit. We have Nourish, Healing Touch, Regrowth, and the final heal of Lifebloom which can ALL crit. Not to mention the Living Seed from talents that heals the targets of my crits for over 1k health the next time they take a melee hit. I understand we may not be the #1 priority for crit items, but most maces don't have spirit on them. I think this is definitely good for druids and priests as well.

Got this about a week ago, and let me say that I love it as a Priest. My main raid spec is Discipline, and the spirit, crit, and int make it great, and when my guild sometimes needs me to go CoH, I love it even more. Dont let a Boomkin or Ele Shammy take this from you priests, much less a holy pally. This is a HOLY/DISC PRIEST or RESTO DRUID weapon you guys. Spirit ftw. And to you Resto Shammies, get the Spire of Sunset off of thadius, much better for you guys!

Sorry to burst your bubble aslayla but this is one of the best moonkin weapons in the game :) It is also much better for them than resto druids. You can't put shamans and Moonkins into one category since Moonkins don't only benefit from Spirit for regen but also gain 15% of their Spirit as Spell Power thanks to Improved Moonkin Form.
I completely agree that this is a very good weapon for holy priests but Resto druids would probably rather use Ice Spire Scepter from Malygos over this.

As a resto druid i have over 400 haste easily and another 38 haste from malygos scepter ain't gonna make a difference for me and i rather use my dream mace than my scepter any day. Crit is not my #1 priority but after having so much haste it starts looking better.

https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=39423 is the BEST for boomkins. Definetly NOT the impossible dream. I hate seeing stupid boomkins who roll on spirit gear because it increases their spell damage by 15%. You benefit a lot more from haste/crit.

Also for your information, restoration druids have a talent TOTAL spirit inceased by 15% and spirit also increases our spell power and mana regen as the same time. So do some research on your class before you say : "it's best boomkin mace"

I've been wondering for a while not but I usually raid as a holy priest if we got a pally healer otherwise I'm disc but before I was using this with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=39766 but while doing vault one of my friends told me https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40300 was better but since I have both it feels like a slight dillema, any help on this matter would be nice.

If you view this weapon with WoWHead's 3D option there's no glow effect and this makes the weapon look like one of those piranha plants from the Super Mario games.

Try it.

EDIT: since originally posting this, wowhead have updated their model viewer so that the glow effect is fixed and present by default.

Just picked up this weapon last night, and I have to say for a moonkin it is right there next to Hammer of the Astral Plane as second best in slot. The only difference between the 2 weapons is the hammer has haste while this has spirit. Yes, haste is the more useful talent, but all things considered this is definately one of the best maces other than the ones that drop from KT 10/25.

i just got this weapon for my resto druid, and replace my Wraith Strike with this one, the addition of spirit is a nice improvement for me. this mace have more crit and makes my healing touch, nourish, swiftmend, direct healing part of regrowth and final healing of lifebloom crit a lot more. and in tree form, comparing this weapon and Wraith Strike i gain :

+30.6 Mana
+9.4 Mana Regen
+2.0 Feral Attack Power
-1.70% Haste
+0 Spell Damage
+5.5 Healing
+0.25% Spell Crit Chance
-1.31% Spell Haste

so as you can see this weapon has more plus side compared to Wraith Strike.
