An absolutely fantastic pair of boots. Perfectly itemised for a healadin in Wrath, given that Divine Plea will make mp5 far less useful for us than it is now. Good portions of spell power, haste and crit, and a red socket to boot.

Not only that, but it's BoE. This opens up a whole new realm of possibilites. Say you usually run with 2 healadins, but 1 is away for a certain evening when these drop. No problem! Affect their loot priority however you would, and send them the boots. Or say every healadin in the guild has a pair - you can give them to off-specs, even if they aren't present. If you so choose, you can even put them on the AH - boots of these quality will sell for a LOT, especially to people who are either sticking to 10 man raids or aren't raiding at all.

Truly, these boots are just amazing.

In my opinion, these boots are currently the best healadin boots in the game especially if you stick a +27 int JC gem into the socket. They're itemised for the stats a healadin should stack in wrath - Int, crit, haste in that order top to lowest.

Comparing them to the other (non-PVP) epic plate Holy Paladin boots shows just how superior these boots are to anything else that's in the game right now.

Boots of Healing Energies are the only ones that even come close, and those still suffer from the same stat that bogs down the quality of all the other boots: mp/5 at the expense of stats that are more valuable (crit and haste).

Additionally, this is the only pair of boots for a raiding Holy Paladin that offers you a red socket, giving you the option to make up for any disparities in intellect/crit/haste/spellpower that the other boots have over this.

If you can get them, get them. They're true beauties, even if they were designed to match the rather bright 7.5 Paladin set...

Beware of Murphy's Law:

If you cave in to these not dropping for weeks upon weeks and end up buying them on the AH, you will undoubtedly have them drop every single week for the next month or two. It's ironic that I paid 2500g for these bad boys, and then on our next Noth kill our ret pally got them for free because I didn't need them anymore. -.-

Not only did he probably sell them, he sold them for less than 2500g--he got them for free and sold them to someone else for less than what you paid. You got cheated over twice with the same pair. Ouch.

I don't mean to burst everybody's bubbles about how awesome these boots are, but I think a great many of you are overlooking perhaps the only comparable item currently in the game.

Eruption-Scarred Boots

They may be mail, but the difference between them is minimal, aside from armor which doesn't make a difference as holy anyway. Eruption-Scarred Boots have 16 more stam and 7 extra crit rating while losing 17 haste rating. Now, I don't know about most of you but I find that I have more than enough haste most of the time.

I'm not saying that you should take them from an ele shaman, or even a resto shaman if they want it. My guild has had a surplus of them though and I was able to pick them up before the Poignant Sabatons.

There were two pairs by the same seller yesterday on AH for 390g. The price is very much debatable at least on my server. (Aleria) I bought both, used one and sold the others for 1750g. If people are in conflict on the price, it can be a good way to make money.

Even with Ulduar up still the best in slot item atm. (even compared to Ulduar cloth and mail items) if you want a balanced paladin.
