From personal experience this is probably the most common drop or seemingly so. I usually try for a 5 for 5 group (where all can do the insult quest) and on my rogue this dropped 4 times. I switched to my warrior and it dropped 3 times. The pally tank in my group said she was giving up doing any more of this boss as it drops "all the time" to quote her.

I'm happy to say you can actually use Dark Iron Smoking Pipe at the exact same time as Direbrew Hops which gives a bonus of exactly 452+ healing and 254+ spelldamage for the trinketduration of 20 seconds. They do not share the 20 second cooldown which prevents Icon of the Crescent Moon from being used at the exact same time as Dark Iron Smoking Pipe.

Did they change this item? I thought I remembered reading a quote at the bottom of this item's stat sheet that read something like "Smells a little funny". Maybe I'm just crazy and this happened in a dream or something, but I know that I will definitely be disappointed in Blizzard for removing this quote simply because a couple of over-protected 12 year old kids told their parents that WoW was promoting drug-use in the game.

The Icon gives equip: +1 spell power and use: +3 spell power more than the Pipe.
