The Hit Rating from Hard Khorium Goggles is superior for threat.

Hard Khorium Goggles offer more:
- Armor
- Health
- Avoidance
- Threat

Assuming you are not hit capped then I would say it is a no brainer.
If you are hit capped than you are giving up almost 1% of avoidance for 29 SBR + 45 SBV.
You decide.

Edit: I chose the meta and other gems assuming you are gearing for Sunwell where avoidance is needed greatly.
If you do not like my gem selection feel free to reply with an all stam gemmed comparison.
I think the results will still be the same. Hard Goggles > Illidan Helm.

well your gem choice is a bit off. it is 5def/7tam or 5hit/5agi(since having the yellow socket requirement for the meta being met in your helm is your best choice.

I am hoping to purchase this pattern in the next day or so it dropped for another SW guild on my Server, only disappointing thing is I am all out of ZG helm chants, last like 10 times I went in there no voodoo dolls ropped, but the ply turtle did so I made a ton of gold lol.

This helm is great for when u start stacking avoidance gear , because like one user said the t6.5 does not have any hit , its all expertise. I am using the faceplate currently and in my avoidance gear I am very low on hit , so I have to re gem my breastplate to all 10+ hit. That being said in the yellow socket goes 10 hit. But also SBV is very nice for tps as well considering higher SS = more threat, so its just the trade off.
