This is a Jewelcrafter only recipe.

As you can see, this gem is BOP when crafted. This is to reward Jewelcrafters for their profession, much in the same way enchanters get an enchanter-only ring enchant.

This and the Blood of Amber are the 2 BOP recipes that make epic gems from rare living ruby stones for spellcasters.

This craft is a way to up your JC Skill more easily.

Uncut rare gems become yellow after 360 and you don't get a point everytime

Now there are craft using uncut blue gem which will last at least until 370

Here are all the gems are that are exclusive to jewelcrafters only. Turns a rare quality gem into an epic one. Since they are unique-equipped, you can only have one socketed and equipped at a time. This means it's possible to have more made for multiple gear sets.

I have this pattern/gem recipe. problem with it is that its soulbound as soon as a JC makes it and its a unique-equipped item. I hope this info helps.
