My restoration shaman got these boots a few weeks ago, and originally when I received them I sorta complained a little. Little did I know, these boots are going to last me well into Hyjal/BT due to the high MP5 on them. Surely at that point in time, you'll have numerous items with high enough MP5 that you won't be missing that difference of 6 or 10 when you switch to better healing boots.

I suggest beating people up for these boots when they drop. Seriously. If your raiding guild has Lurker on farm, look forward to getting these.

Just go get
->Wavefury Boots<- from 2nd boss Slavepens Heroic
Or even better, easier and more mana regen the ->Auchenai boots<- from quest reward.

Atm my guild practices on this boss, its easy to lose some players in the beam thing, i suppose 2 more weeks and we can master him to get him to farm mode.

! I can't believe I read "Blizz loves shamans". Ok, so what about the big nerf about a year ago, reducing AP and WF bonus by loads? then of course when patch 2.0 came out, we lost more AP, WF was screwed up, we get a completely useless 41 point talent in ele tree, DW which does very little in pvp unless you have seriously good weaps, and Blizz made it clear that they thought all shams should become resto from the emphasis on said talent tree. Even that wasn't very good, because our mana efficiency is and has always been completely terrible. So palas are nerfed? you have bubble, a stun, heals which cost nearly no mana, 45 mp5 blessing, plate armour, more AP, able to dispell yourself + phys dmg... the list goes on and on.
Shammies have NO cc and NO aoe. Tremor totem you say? well perhaps, when it can actually be bothered to send out a pulse every 10 seconds or whatever it is. Frost shock? nah mate, 50% slowing means nothing when compared to shadowfury, pala stun etc.
Our elemental pets? man come on, mages, priests, hunters etc can all use their pets in arenas, but us? No...
Oh and now with the incoming patch shammies won't even be able to use 2 different ranks of WF while DW-ing for more procs, and the -100% mana cost talent has now been made into -60% mana cost (insult to injury? yes I think so).
Really, if you take the time to compare the shaman in its use as either ele, enhance or resto with the equivalent class (mage, fury warr, pala repectively, for example) you'll see we are significantly underpowered on all fronts.

i think shamans are hated by blizzard especially since our clear casting only rreduses mana cost of our next spell by 60% WTH IS THAT id almost rather spend the point in another talent

Oh come the ^&*! on guys, this is %^&*. Many of you say that Shamans are underpowered? I play a resto lvl 70 shaman myself (Magorr-Gilneas US) And I find few things I can't do. Sure I can't CC, cut healing to 50%, stun something for 13 seconds, get 2k crits with a normal hit or anything like that, but what other class besides Pallys, can sit there for ages taking a beating by 2 MS warriors? Exactly. When I specced enhancement for a short while with my two-hander, I was critting druids in cat form for up to 7k. I also lvled enhancement and could crit lvl 60 priests for 2.5kx2 with two one-handers.

So stop complaining that Shamans suck, they top DPS charts easily, can off-tank some mobs and heal stupid amounts so fast.

IMO the only better healing class than Shamans are Druids, I love resto and feral Druids.

These things have dropped every single time we've killed Lurker. Granted, they are nice boots, but 9 times in a row? Ugh. WTB better loot table for the Big Ugly Fish...
