Best drop rate off warlocks IMHO. Easy to kill any lots of then in the middle of Firewing Point.

The MOBS that drop this item have a low % to also drop Arcane Tome's. Good for faction with Scryer. From Revered to Exulted.

The repeatable quest to hand these in is available at level 64 but the initial quest is available at level 62.
These can only be handed in from Neutral to 5999/6000 friendly.

240 signets are required to go from friendly to honored.

If you really wanna make the most out of firewing signets before moving into honored, you should do the single turn-ins until you're 1 signet away from honored. Then, do the 10 signet hand-in and you get 200 smth rep to start with.
In my case i was 5985 friendly and went up to 235 honored.

Really easy way of farming as a level 70 warlock demonology specced, Just keep running through the camp throwing Curse of Agony and Corruption on everything you see, try to stick mostly to the warlocks so you can plop on Shadow Ward (but if your level 70 you will resist alot of the time anyway) to prevent you from loosing health. I can clear the whole middle camp in about 2 minutes just dotting them up and running around. Good luck!

Also another good way is have your Fel Guard(Or voidwalker) get aggro from everything in the camp, and just keep spamming Seed of Corruption on the mob your pet is attacking and let the bodies drop ^_~

Farming as a aff. warlock @ 70 with SSC/TK ready gear is just heaven. Run around with a /castsequence of Siphon Life, Corruption (instance ofc) and Curse of Agony, have fel hunter out set to defensive.

You will not have to do anything else to kill things. When you get low on life, tap, when you get low on life, drain. Loot, lol, repeat.

You have to choose sides Aldor or Scryers by doing the City of Light quest with Khadgar in the center of Shattrath.

When I first got City of Light it showed as a lvl70, maybe because I was not 65 when I got it, don't know. When I got it again, it was the proper lvl65. A servant spawns, follow around the town and back to the center, where it will complete and then Khadgar will let you choose sides.

Once while following the servant it sort of spawned another one which walked a little ways then disappeared. I went back and followed the other one to complete the quest.

The walk around town lasted about 8-10 minutes.

and my question is, why does this drop just in firewing point, and the mark of kiljeadan drops half across outland?

18/43/0 farmguard lock reports that the firewing warlocks are the way to go. You will resist 50% of their shadowbolts and they go down almost instantaneously with just one dot, drain life, and the trusty felg bashing its brain in. Really, the difference is negligible compared to the melee mobs, they'll all go down easy at 70, but you'll have to heal your felguard much less on loop around that focuses mainly on warlocks. Lastly, I was having no trouble doing single pulls on the pairs of warlocks just by sending the pet in, he doesn't aggro the other at 70, at least not until the first one is dead.

Drop rate for me though is more like 25%.

Oh, and look inside the houses for chests!

Personally I found these easily to be farmed at Firewing Point killing warlocks.

As a level 66 arcane mage, I took them down with 2x arcane missiles.

ok so i handed in about 250 of these from nuetral and then i handed in a bunch of arcane tomes, but now the npc who takes the signets wont give me the quest anymore.

im aiming to level shatar reputation to honoured so i can level leatherworking on my level 65 DK. im currently at 3590/6000 shatar rep. im guessing that my scryers reputation, which has gone past honoured, is the reason why i cant hand these in anymore, but im too low level to hand in the next level of signets. are arcane tomes the only way i can go from here to get to honoured?

I did the starting quest in Shatthrath that got me from neutral to 500/6000 friendly (undead) with the Scryers. Then I went into Shadowmoon Valley and over to Sanctum of the Stars. I did just the following quests there:

Sunfury Signets (just one turn in of 10 signets)
Tablets of Baa'ri
The Ashtongue Broken
Oronu the Elder
Karabor Training Grounds
The Great Retribution
A Necessary Distraction
The Ashtongue Corruptors
The Warden's Cage
Proof of Allegiance

The left me at 2575/6000 friendly rep with Scyers. Since you can only turn in Firewing Signets until Honored, it will take 137 signets to get to Honored. The rest will need to be done with Sunfury Signets to get any farther.

UPDATE: Grinded Firewing Point for about an hour. Was by myself and cleared the entire area without any repeat kills. One clear gave me 22-23 signets. The respawn rate is pretty fast, so i could finish and start over again.

It seems you have to be lv 62 for the first turn in (confirmed) but at 62 you cannot do repeat turn ins. I'm lead to believe this is allowed at 64 but will confirm as i level up.

There's a quest you need to do that will make the signet quest available to you. It's called 'A'dal'. You have to be level 60 at least, and you can get it from a Haggard War Veteran, 77, 43 is where one is. (They wander around the Lower City area.)

There are only used for Scyer reptutation gain (blood elf faction in Shattrath city) along with Arcane Tomes.

Al'dor reputation turn ins are the Mark of Kil'jaeden, not sure what their equivalent of the Arcane Tome is.

You can complete the Firewing Signets at 63, but you won't get the More Firewing Signets quest until 64 (same NPC). Just hold on to them until then.

These are a random drop from the Firewing Point camp elves at 71.37 in Terrokar Forest.

I did another quest in this camp earlier at level 62 and the rings dropped almost every kill. Now after receiving the Firewing Signets quest, the drop rate has extremely decreased --Sucks ass.

Ok here's something I don't get. Firewing signets and Marks of Kil'Jaeden are meant to be exactly the same items just for different factions right? Well... the drop rate on the Marks seem to be much higher than the Signets and the Firewing blood elves seem much harder than the Cabals, although this may just be personal experience, but what erks me the most is after completing Terrokar and moving on to Nagrand, i find that there are several mobs in Nagrand that drop Marks but for the life of me I can't find anything that drop Signets. This page itself says only the Terrokar BEs drop the Signets. Did i miss something or is this unbalanced =S

Once you have gotten to honored tho, it graduates to Sunfury Signets, which drop off the Blood Elves in the instances and Shadowmoon and Netherstorm.

You get reputation with Sha'tar if you're not already honored with them (and although it doesn't appear in the chatlog, verify the reputation pane and you'll see it)

1x Firewing signet = 12 Sha'tar reputation
10x Firewin signet = 125 Sha'tar reputation

If you go to the grind place for these (71,37) at lvl 70, then you can clean out the warlocks there in 5-6 minutes getting around 8 signets. There is enough folk in surrounding houses to keep you busy until the warlocks respawn. Very easy and fest grind.

If your soloing these you can use the escort quest from the main tower to help you clear mobs. If you just make sure she get's killed off , or wanders to far away, you can go back and start the quest over again.

I'm getting loads of these whereas I can hardly get Marks (which I need) to drop at all. So perhaps it depends on the server? For the record, I am getting them at Firewing Post in Terrokar with a very high drop rate. I also got one Arcane Tome at this location.

I'm hoping I can trade them for Marks. *fingers crossed*

Farmed these as a lvl69 BM hunter.. was aiming to get 160 signets for my main. These were my results for 2 hours 15mins farming:
~186,000 exp
160 firewing signets
4 arcane tomes
154 netherweave cloth
147 runecloth
~40G looted
13 green items
12 major health pots
2 major mana pots

Farmed 240 in ~3 hours on Ele shaman lvl 64, 469spellpower 22%crit /w adepts elixir. 170 Nethercloth, 120+runecloth(made maybe 2 stacks of heavy bandages), 19g/hour in raw gold, 28g in greys, greens for 17arcane powder, 5 lesser planar essence. 1blue. 105k exp/hour. Did it in the middle of the night at firewing point and was there alone for a good two and a half. Recommend killing all the middle warlocks, circling around the front so that the warlocks have time to respawn again and repeat. They dropped enough food and water to be self-sustaining.
