A Golden Pearl and a Shadow Pearl just dropped to me from it.

I found out that wowhead is better for clam drops, cuz (dunno why) they aren't here...
Jaggal Pearl - about 15%
Golden Pearl - 5%
Shadow Pearl - very little... wowhead says 1%

Seeing that no one has posted anything about clam, I am compelled to ask which pearls are dropped off this kind of clams?

Well so far I have gotten Golden Pearls and Jaggal Pearls off of these. They're moderately common for me, maybe 1/5 or so give a pearl.

It appears you can get golden pearls and Shadow pearls as well as Jaggal pearls and Jaggal clam meat.

Before 2.1, the jaggal pearls were useless, but now Blizz have introduced new recipes that can now use them (Jewelcrafting at the very least).
