Extremely handy as of the patch allowing us to use these to bust open dungeon *chests.* Just a fair warning, however... I spent hours grinding consortium rep to get this pattern in hopes of a fairly easy way of leveling engineering. The pattern is a gray by 360 even though you learn it at 350, so if you're hoping for a nice way to skill up, look elsewhere. :'(

to grind the last 15 points from 360-375 you'll have to do Khorium scopes and Felsteel boomsticks. expensive, but only way i know to do it.

If you still have to level your engineering alt above 60, then try doing many Mana Tombs runs before you even start the Consortium quests. I did MT 6 times on my engineer, and had to grind only around a 100 Zaxxis insignia to get to revered after I did all the quests.

All Seaforium charges are used to open locked doors (like Rogues can lockpick them) and now also open locked chests.

The higher the level charge, the higher level door and chest you can open.

I often used some lower level charges to open the door in Dire Maul North, bypassing the need to kill some bosses for the key, or the need of a rogue who has taken the time to level his lockpicking.

While these are pretty pricey to use for chests you can bring to IF and tip a rogue to open, they'd be great for opening doors you don't have keys for, and chests in highlevel instances where you expect great loot.

Since the loot from chests in high lvl instances aint only the items but a rewarding 1g50 per player, I think these mats are well worth it!

Realize you can have another engineer make this for you w/ your own mats since the result of the craft is not BoP, so if there is no other consortium item for you to buy other than this, you don't have to spend hours and hours of your life grinding away Consortium rep right away.

Engineering has to be the least rewarding profession. Adding the Flying Machines is a nice touch and goes some way to making it worthwhile - but with the requirement to be revered with the consortium - BAH! These charges are now selling for 25g upwards on lightbringer (EU) and I expect it to rise because they will sell.

well, this could indeed be of a use... i mean, just think about it! you´re doing a instance or heroic, no rogue in the party, locked box appears, no one can open it :) then after the instance is over and everyone hearhts back home you walk back and loot ^^

farming rep for consortium is pretty easy. just farm the ogre's on warmaul hill in nagrand and turn in the warbeads to the NPC at the lil consortium village.

When your around lv 355 your gonna wanna lv your skill up...unfortunatly most things engineers make are for engineers only, and mats are expensive. Thank WoW for this, ez way to skill up, but wtf it should be friendly to buy.

Commander Ameer in Netherstorm has salvaged a prison orb from his last scouting mission and could use your help retrieving a key to unlock it.
Nether-Stalker Mah'duun in Shattrath now offers a non-Heroic daily dungeon quest.
Warchief Kargath Bladefist in The Shattered Halls once again has a delay in between charges of his Blade Dance.
Warlock’s Inferno once again stuns and deals damage to enemies in the area.
Engineering Schematic: Elemental Seaforium Charge is now available from Consortium faction vendors.
The reagents required for the following enchants have been adjusted from pre-patch content to level 70 content:
Enchant Gloves - Threat
Enchant Gloves - Superior Agility
Enchant Cloak - Greater Fire Resistance
Enchant Cloak - Greater Nature Resistance
Enchant Cloak - Stealth
Enchant Cloak - Subtlety

Fixed an issue where the Ring of Blood event in Nagrand would sometimes stall or fail to progress.
