I was looking at these items today at the actual trainer and the helmets actually stated "Increases chance to resist Silence/Interrupt effects by 25%"

In the 2.1 PTR, this helmet is now craftable as it has been corrected to require Shadowcloth.

Also of note, the stats have been modified to be
+48 stam
+30 int
+10% stun resistance
+36 damage/healing

This needs at least a socket and a meta, to be able to compete with the new Destruction Holo-Gogs, which are not even specialised. Hardly comparable to the results of specialisation in other professions.

Be sure to note that this only requires 350 engineering to wear, but requires 375 engineering to make and is bind on pickup. This rules out having people make it for you.

I found out the hard way on my warlock, who I power leveled to 350 at lvl 50 for this hat. *slaps self*

I've had it since level 50. For my 70 crafted headpiece, I'm thinking about taking the Holo-gogs over the tailoring helm. It's slightly under the tailoring piece, but I've made about 10 primals just picking up water/air motes in Zangar/Nagrand.

It can be possible to make these for a lvl 50 player!!! just lvl your skill to 350 then make rocket launcher to 370, then make some of the other epic goggles to 375, and there you go!! Some BADASS 59 twink goggles !!! ;)

I can't believe why Blizz does not put any level requirement on these. It's cleary overpowered for its level, same goes for the version with agility. It's nice for those people who got a main for boosting their profession, but compared to other crafting professions which actually require a certain level for epic items of level 70, this just does not look "fair".

Out of Curiosity: Does this and other equivalent helms (for other classes) made by engineering still have the +% Stun Resistance chance mechanic? I ask this because of Blizzard's change from roll-of-the-dice chance to resist stuns to flat-out stun-duration reductions; as seen in https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=20573 ; which used to be a 15% resist chance.

Master Engineering (Max Skill 375) requires level 50, so a level 50 character who either bought the mats or farmed on a high level can make this helm to use.

just you have to find out where to get the shadoweave cloth

i asked a gamemaster - and he told me that it is not the same as shadowcloth but it is also crafted by tailoring.

just strange that no1 knows where to get it and that thottbot and allakhazam dont know anything about this item.

Shadoweave Cloth DOES NOT exist! GM's don't know what they are talking about. Because they can click the item they think it's real.

After searching many forums and making a few posts, it was confirmed on wow forums that neither spellfire cloth or shadoweave cloth exist.

It's a typo!

They are supposed to be spellcloth and shadowcloth.

It will be fixed in a patch....but they didn't say when.

I was very dissapointed after spending time and gold to make this helm, especially after a GM tells me it exists, and after a few posts before I finally got an official answer.

By the time they fix this, you might have a better helm.

not fair! finaly got lvl 375 engineering - last 15 lvl were very hard and expensive.... after running to tanaris to learn the doing of the epic-helmet... and now i realize that nobody knows what or wherefrom shadoweave cloth is.

so i asked a gamemaster if this item is existing - and i got the answer that shadoweave cloth is crafted by tailoring - but is not the same as shadowcloth.

not fair that the mail-helmet can be crafted with 8 harded adam-bars and we caster have to search for the mystic shadoweave cloth.

all professions have at lvl 375 some epic what is bop and is crafted from mats what is farmable - so shadoweave cloth must also be available somewhere

As mentioned in previous posts, the item Shadoweave Cloth is not yet in the game, so at present this item is not craftable so don't waste your time or money getting engineering to 375 if this is what you're aiming for - confirmed by a GM 28/02/07

to all the goblin enigeers , there is a bug right now where u can get your engineering to 375 without spending an arm and a leg on mats. Just reload your goblin mortor three times and u get one skill point. it works i am at lvl59 with 360 engineering , so this bug can save u some gold

Confirmed. You can level engineering with Goblin Morter Reloads. Just get a boat load of Mithril and Solid Blasting powder and keep reloading the mortar. WARNING! This thing does backfire often and my record damage from a back fire is about 8900 so be buffed up to the max before trying or in a graveyard.

I just skilled up from 356 to 375 reloading mortar over and over again. Skill ups occured after between 3 and 5 reloads. I had 4 explosions, and oddly only twice was I knocked back, and only killed once. Hit for between 5.5k and 8k

I didn't have room in my bags to totally strip, and was pleased to find that death did not cause durability loss. Neither did non-leathal explosions.

Spoke to a GM in game and he said "shadoweave cloth is in the game" but he wouldn't tell me how to get it. Shadoweave cloth is different from shadowcloth(made by tailors at 350skill). Does anyone know how to make SHADOWEAVE CLOTH? don't you dare say altar of shadows

The typo its being fix in the new patch for this helmet. Shadowweave cloth should now be shadowcloth. but a new upgrade, to me they ruined the helmet is not anymore the silence and interrupt, now its just 10% to ressist stuns.(this can be change at any given moment prior to patch lunch)

With the +10% Stun Res, it's now extremely desirable for an Orc Warlock (With his +Stun res racial). Although somewhat mediocre, you got to remember you didn't have to go tailoring to make a decent cloth armor piece, and you still get to use bombs.

Btw, that buffs Orc Stun resistance to 25% once worn.

This Helm+Orc racial 25% stun resist+Rogue specc +10% chance to resist it... Ummh not really that this headpeice would benefit a rogue that good but 45% to resist stuns o.O would be awesome...

Btw i think there is other classes that can specc for stun resistance... just took rogue for an example

This helmet screams 59 twink item. Since the goggles were nerfed with 2.4 (lvl 62 requirement) it's these or Power Amplification Goggles. 31 spell crit or 30 int and 10% stun resist.
