Hm, this gun at the beginning really was not worth it since the pattern was initially a world drop. Expensive materials coupled with an expensive and rare pattern made this gun not even worth your time.

However, even now and with the advent of WOTLK, this gun still isn't even worth touching even at 70. A comparable version of this weapon can be gained from simply doing the Nesingwary questline in Nagrand for Hemet's Elekk Gun - sans stamina and less DPS, getting a Northrend green or simply getting this gun for the snake-eye look on the side or collector's habit. The schematic can now be farmed from Doomforge Engineers in BEM so if you want to complete your list: feel free.

Still takes my vote on not even being worth the amount of mats making this.

It was an alternative to Khorium Scope from 360 skull till 375. It used to be a nice gun for those lucky to get it until Hemet's Elekk Gun come along on Nagrand.

i was the High Bidder for one day at the AH for just 25g :) pretty nice considering median price on here says 65g My 70 Human Warrior has the Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer and i did want that gun for my 70 Draenei Warrior as well, but considering that gun is like 1k gold at AH (if i cant be bothered farming the matts) i think this gun will be quite nice :P i dont think the extra 13dps and 15 stamina that Gyro offers is quite worth paying 975g for anyways... 25 gold nice buy :)

The schematic drops off the demon engineers (not the attendants or guards) in the forge camp on the eastern side of Blade's Edge Mountains. I got it last night off the 19th kill.

Its a long way from 360-375 engineering, the guns *!@# and we all know it, this gun only has one purpose and thats to get engineers up to 375 as fast as possible and by using mats that arnt too bad to get, you just need adamantite, a heap of fel iron and eternium. Dont bother selling the gun cause it wont sell, vendor it and look forward to being 375 which is what this does.

yup camp anger doom forge engineers again i killed few npcs and it dropped for me just like the schem for the khorium scope a few drops and bam lol i have the luck today well i hope all have good luck finding them too have fun

yes i grind'ed for about 10 mins killed about 20 mobs and it droped also then went off to grind for the 12 damage scope plan and that drop after about half an hour and 40 to 50 kills all in all a very good day. ;-) hope the rest of you peeps have my kind of luck. GL

10 hours, hundreds of Doomforge Engineers killed, no schematic. 6 Fel Armaments, about 80 marks of Sargeras.

I farmed for this for 2 days, like a total of 8 hrs and nothing, my engineering was at 355, i decided to lvl it fiorst to 360 and i went back, got it on 10th kill. Had similar thing happen with the khorium scope. anyone else had this happen?

Got the drop pretty quick (lucky) but once I started making this I realized how expensive it actually is...30 adamanite bars, plus a *!@#load of eterinium bars (which take forever to mine), fel iron no problem though, not cheap and it wont sell. Good gun for warrior or rouge though. Looks really cool though IMO

About 1.5 hours of grinding, helping kids out with quest as they came along, 3rd group and 55 or so engineers,17 marks, 3 Fel Arms 350k damage later it dropped.

Very costly to make, IMO the scope is a better bet to make as it will sell faster than this POS.

GL all that are farming this.

If BLIZZARD reads these things please reconsider you decision on making engineering weapons that give no return to the person struggling to farm your items, mats and getting almost nothing in return.

This gun is not meant for hunts, it's meant for more warriors and rouges. It has great stats but bad dps. So if you just want to pull someone it works. It's blue bc of the stat pick me up in stam and crit.
