From what I've noticed, as long as the 'pink pollen' is inside of the plant, you get the buff. I tried to pick it right after the pulse, but could never get the timing off. Best way to do it, is to pick the herb a couple of seconds before it pulses or eats the 'pink pollen', making sure that it's inside of the plant.

As of 2.1 the buff is a chance on loot, and as far as I've recorded after about herbing about 20-30 of them, the debuff has been removed.

Has anyone else notice that it now says "millable" under quick facts? Supposedly it requires 275 inscription to mill it which seems a little low. This is the first herb I noticed it on. I checked it is the only herb ATM that has millable under quick facts... >_<

The twenty or so times I picked netherbloom up I recieved a -50sta.
My stamina on my mage is the highest in number of all the attributes. Maybe that is what determines it.

I've gotten, +50 int, +50 stam, -50 int, -50 stam, -50 spirit, -50 str so far. I'm guessing it's totally random. And, no, they don't stack.

Interesting herb...

When you pick it you will either get a +50 stat buff or a -50 stat debuff for 15 minutes.

So far I have had: +50 agility, +50 spirit, -50 intellect, -50 stamina, -50 spirit

it takes a herbalism skill lvl of 350 to get it,
Felweed and Dreaming glory are frequent in netherstorm so it shouldnt be hard to herb

the new patch has changed everything with these, no longer gives -/+ buffs, it is now used by alchemists to make super healing pots. need 2 netherbloom and one felweed to make. dreaming glory is no longer used for healing pots, but still gives a + heal for 15 min buff when picked. These are gonna sell like crazy in ah soon since you can only get them in netherstorm

This is by far the most annoying herb to farm. Takes nearly an hour just to get 20...maybe I'm just not looking in all the right places (cartographer helps though...)

noticed (as a shaman) that water shield negates the netherbloom effect. when i pick the herb, it takes a charge off my shield and that's it.

Best way to farm is to fly around the perimeter of the islands. They spawn most where the mindless mobs wander around.

Strongly recommend flying mount so you can just drop in without aggroing (but usually you will have to kill a mob to be able to gather it in peace).

Gathered average of 1 every 2 minutes on my epic mount.
