On my server these can actually make you a decent amount of money, about 4.05g for the mats (If the netherweave is bought for 3g a stack) and I can sell them for 6-7g; they always sell, even when I sale 20+ of them. Minus the deposit these are quite a money-maker, if you buy the netherweave cheap and do the whole thing en masse. I make about 125g a day at level 53 with these as long as I can find people who can sell me loads of netherweave.

Er for some reason, post 2.4 there seems to be way more stacks in the AH for 3g, dunno why people would do that though, they just lose money from the deposit when they can just turn into bandages and vendor. Anyways its a even better money-maker now on my server!

it is indeed one of the best ways to make profit.
on my server too i make them with costs of maximum 4.50g if i buy all the mats, and sell for 7-8 g, so it's 70% added value business.
so i invest daily 100g in making these, and the next day i have ~170g back

Somehow a few days before the 3.0.2 patch these bags were hitting 10~11g on my server :) I made over 300g on that and still got 2 bags of those full with this bags O.o somehow i can fit 16 bags inside one of the same kind ;P Waiting for prices to rise a bit again since they are 6~7 atm

I sell loads of these for at least 15g a pop on our server, they always sell out really quickly!

I make 15-20 every day and it nets me about 200g a day, maybe it has something to do with all these people levelling Death Knights, looking for bagspace?

To date, these are the best bags in the game even though the WOTLK is out. They have the most slots for the least amount of money. Lowbies want them, Maxed lvl toons will buy/craft tons for their lowbie alts. They sell like none other even on a maxed server.

On my server these bags have been selling for 16-20g each. The funny thing is people are buying them and the price is not going down. All because of the DK leveling spike.

If any tailor tries to charge you more than 11g50s for this item (add together the price of your mats, plus their tip to see the total of the procedure), tell em to shove off. Horde can buy a Draenic Leather Pack from the Innkeeper, Floyd Pinkus, in Thrallmar. It's a 14-slot instead of 16-slot, but really? Two slots don't make much difference. I don't know if Alliance can buy them from Honor Hold, but I can't see why not. Either way... don't let the tailors screw you! They try to do it all the time on Dalaran realm.

I see tailors reducing their mooncloth bag prices as a result of this new type. That's dumb. Mooncloth are still more valuable because they don't bind to the character.

If you're still making mooncloth bags at this point you're a nub. Mooncloth bags, sure can be handed down, resold etc, but these bags are dirt cheap and do the same job, you can use mooncloth for more valuable recipes, dont waste it on bags.

You can learn how to do this bag with Hama grand master tailor in Honor hold 54,63 inside the inn on the second floor.

These are very good, if you just farm the mats for about 10 mins then you have a 16 slot bag! So what if all the others aren't soulbound I mean these are so cheap just farm another one!

Honestly I think, BoE or not, this bad is much better than a mooncloth bag because they mats are SO much easier to acquire. I am a tailor that has VENDORED stacks of netherweave because I have so bloody many of them and no use for them. I just found out about this pattern and intend on making 4 of these for every one of my alts and my friends, because it's only 50s a bag.

So what if you can upgrade later or not? 50s for a 16 slot? I think that's a pretty damn good deal, especially considering I can outfit my level 10 character with 4 of these for under 2 gold (thanks to Org rep) and they'll pay for themselves in no time.

For all those wondering how much Netherweave to give to the tailors to make this:

4x Bolt of Netherweave = 24 Netherweave Cloth

Every time I level, I take all the Netherweave I find and give it to a tailor (along with the cheap-ass Runethread) to make these bags. I'm kitting out all my alts with these as we speak.

When I was totally new to the game one of my friends sent me enough netherweaver bags to fill all the slots on my character. Man it helped!

At first I diden't think much of it until I rolled a mage, and only had the starting bag along with the 6 slots bag you find along the way.... always full.

Someone on Black Dragonflight (US) just sold me three of these bags for only 3g each! What a bargain!

Now I'm really happy. Before this, I was using crappy Large Knapsacks (12 slot) to store my stuff, so this was a big upgrade for me. Definitely worth the gold!

Yeah everyone by the time you begin in Hellfire and finish leveling all the way to 70, you'll have the money and mats to make these bags as well as pay for the extra bank slots to put them in several times over. If you buy a Mooncloth Bag you're crazy, as a matter of fact if you buy one of these bags you're crazy because the mats wouldn't even take you more then a couple hours to farm out of Netherstorm or an area with a heavy humaniod population of mobs.

most of my 16's are travelers backpacks 16 slot not dinding got them for the same price as these figured could sell em later if needed but prices arent always low if u need cheap ones these recommended

Were do I get the recepie or the training. Ive been by Hama i Honor Hold, and there is nothing under training, available aswell as unawailable.
Im lvl 67 wl and lvl 335 tailor and in 5 lvl I can make imbued bags, I cant understand why I cant train for the smaller bag.
Could someone pls. help me?

I was a 275 a tailor and I had like 40 stacks of netherweave taking space up. Runecloth on my server is like 5g per stack so it was really expensive to get it up to 300 to make the netherweave stuff. I am 67 and i was worried I would not have enough gold for my flying mount at 70.. since I was down to 500g after buying the runecloth.

I expected to just make a load of belts and have a friend DE them so I could sell the dust and recover some profits. About 50g to expect. Then I saw that these only took 4 bolts... I was like "wtf is that all?" so i made like 30 of them and put them all on the AH for 6g each... 180g.... gg!
