its a quest reward for the person incharge of doing the world event of the gate opening to AQ its not the final reward however and it looks just like the mindsurge robes from DM tribute :/

Don't get these robes if you're after frost resist. In 1.11, there will be craftable epic robe recipes available from argent dawn, exalted.

Useless piece of gear.

Why? To kill Broodlord (to continue the quest line that leads up to this reward) you have to down Vael (to get to him). If you down Vael, you don't need to work on your FR gear anymore. So why would anyone pick this item?

Don't waste an opportunity to get a frost resistance ring!

This is the second Item I've looked at today that I was almost certain should have Frost resist, and they are showing Fire Resist. Why would a Frost Damage robe have Fire Resist on it? Something break in the database?

this is reward from a part of the scepter quest to open Ahn'quiraj.

the warlock-like nome in tanaris gives it to you. kill some big thing in the water and get the blue scepter shard.
