As a levelling prot warrior, I have found this combined with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=24376 to be a rather effective combination of trinkets. In a pinch, I have about 1000 damage absorbtion to go with my Last Stand, potion, and if need be, Intimidating Shout/Bandaging. It's saved my ass on more than one occasion when I found myself in over my head and had to flee, or my healer (since while levelling, you don't always get experienced healers... hey, we all start somewhere!) suddenly finds herself overwhelmed or silenced. While the more experienced players may not need it, I have found it useful.

the quest is hard when you are at lvl 50 unless you have a 70 mage or paladin, araj is lvl 61elite and shes got about 10 lvl 51 skeleton protecting here so you really dont want to get aggro, because there are other things like ghouls and abomination. i did it with a 63 warrior and 60 priest and me as a lvl 60 hunter.

The Stun/Fear resist is a little low (I'd be happy with only 5%), but it's better than nothing. But the shield you get from it isn't really that great; maybe if you're a class that doesn't get any sort of defensive measure it's good, but the classes that get shield spells (Priests, Mages, Paladins, and Warlocks (Voidwalker's Sacrifice spell)) have shields that can take MUCH more damage.

Very decent after the change. Good trinkets before TBC is hard to come by, and 2% hit is probably gonna be an upgrade for all that doesn't have heirloom trinkets.

I use this thing at bosses who fear all the time like Magmadar and Onyxia stage 3. Combined with the Priest Silent Resolve tatlent that's a 16% resists bonus right there.

Believe me, it's noticable then.

I agree that the bonus should be higher though, especially because there are no other fear resist items in the game.

Does it make sense to carry both of these? It looks like I still get credit for Undead kills while wearing Mark of Resolution instead of the Agent Dawn Commision. If so would it make sense to keep both of these? My bags are running out of room!

You get to pick up stones with the argent dawn trinket. Regardless of whether you use your AD trinket or not you will get faction for the kill.

Considering what you have to go through to get this trinket, definitely not worth it. As stated before, 10% or even 2% would be better than this.

If you decide to keep this in a trinket slot for for Mags or the BG your gear probably isn't good enough already - there are a ton of better trinkets to have equipped for those situations than this.

When I equip this and NOT my Argent Dawn Commission the undead no longer drop Scourgestones. Does anyone know if this is SUPPOSED TO allow you to loot scourgestones or if it's just another vendor trash reward?

The only time I used this was in PVE while dashing away from a losing fight in cat form. Usually when I get in that kind of trouble I only have a sliver of life left, and this saved my butt a couple of times. I like the fact that I can use it while shapeshifted. The cooldown sucks, though.

I was in a group of a 60 Warrior, Priest and me (55 Warlock, now 56). Took about 40 secs to take down once we cleared the other mobs, lol.

Once every thirty minutes this allows you to negate roughly half damage from a single hit. Absolute shyte this, vendor it, disenchant it, throw it in the mud and stomp on it... the level at which you acquire it has a crapload of trinkets that are a million times better.

A lot of work for a crap ass reward.

Does nothing for rogues end-game. Haven't resisted fear once with this trinket. Damage shield is handy in emergency but only delays your death by another second.

In spite of what the official description states, this trinket is a piece of junk and can be safely vendored. The 1% fear/stun resist chance is virtually nothing, and the shield, being on a 30 minute cooldown, isn't worth bothering with. Rather equip easily obtainable trinkets such as 天選印記, 6級雷矛徽記 / 6級霜狼徽記, your class' Shen'dralar Dire Maul trinket or your faction's "PvP trinket".
