This item is a clear upgrade from https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=7721, which many healers are still using.

Its pretty strange how little upgrades there are for caster weapons, https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=7714 doesn't get upgraded for a while either.

https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=11928 goes very well with it.

Just want to add that this is also a good weapon for rogues, warriors, and enhancement shamans. So for the love of god, if you have no healers in the party don't get mad at one of us rolling on this because it is a very nice weapon for us too.

I would personally let the shaman take it out of the three melee classes that can use this (because shamans still benefit from the healing and spell bonus), but then again I'm a shaman myself so that might be a bit biased :P

+31 healing! You do not get better then that till Outland! There is nothing like it in Azeroth other then this single weapon that is easily attained! What are you thinking, suggesting anyone other then the healers, who can find crap all for +healing weapons, might have to compete with a DPS Class for their +Healing weapon? Are you insane or just stupid?

No way. Healers only. You want a +damage weapon, there are most of those out there. You want a decent weapon that has no +healing? Knock yourself out. THERE ARE HUNDREDS! Leave this one to the schlubs who keep you alive in a thankless postion in instances.

Got this from the vault last night in BRD. I was just wondering what +healing spells does on this weapon. I'm a lvl 57 healing druid and have a dagger with +11 int which I believe gives me 165 more mana. Is it better to use this mace with possible +31 healing spells or better to use the dagger? Dunno what +31 healing spells does.

Some helpful Info on +healing.

For instant cast spells:
(duration)/15 = healing factor
For example Priests renew: (15/15)=1
Priest's renew gets the full benefit from plus healing.
Druids Rejuv: 12/15 = .8
Druid's rejuv only gets 80% of 31 (about 24.8)

For Non-instant casts:
(time it takes to cast)/3.5 = healing factor
Priests Greater heal w/talents:
3.5/3.5 = 1 =>full benefit
Priests Flash:
1.5/3.5 = .43
That is why you mentioned that it was around 50%. Your flash of light should be healing around that much.

i got this thing and i had to drop my gift of elven magi for it... nice healing extra for me cause i use the centrious and stormrage sets. but even if its good for other ppl for me to have all this stuff i would be really better off wiith the dagger on solo. (i use one hands cause i have ancient considerate grinmore for off hand)

Got it from the vault a few days ago and so far it fits in perfectly with my healin gear.. The lack of stats or anything else for that matter makes it vendor/DE trash for anyone who isnt a Druid, Priest, Mage or Pally tho

This would be better for a Druid. Resto shamans could probably roll on this, however I'm a shaman and I like 2hand weapons. If I had permission to roll, I would definately roll because it is a big upgrade from my Viking Warhammer. Priests? naww... Priests can't put out damage with this thing, priests would be better with a stave.

I use this and the Spirit of Aquementas that you get from the Linken's quest. I find it works well, but sadly there isn't any other stats :(.

Not the best healers hammer, but combined with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=4901/test-polearm (you can get both from BRD) you have a pretty effective +heals combo from 55-60 for getting Dungeon set 1 and Tier one armor. Is there a better priest combo? yeah... but this rox before you start making AQ runs.

Umm hello? there's a staff that drops at the end of this instance that beats this with any offhand ive ever seen and that staff has spirit a healer's best friend just run the entire instance a couple times and u can forget this item even exists HOLY PRIESTS FTW!

BiS pre-raid for Druids (couple with 亞奎門塔斯之靈)
Also BiS one-hander for Priests, though normally go for 智慧護杖 or 救贖 if possible)

I would have to quote this item and

as the best Priest combo available in the game. It's an impressive healing + bonus with moderate stats. The rest of your equip can largely compensate in raw stat and enchants.

I can't believe my luck... I got into a BRD party desperate for a healer by pure chance, and this popped up in the chest of seven. Everyone passed but me and a pala, and guess who won the roll? :>
Now all I need is a good +heal offhand and I'm set for MC.
