Priest Class Glyphs in Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Glyphs are a new power system for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and are an integral part of your character's build. This guide will cover Glyph basics and list all the available Glyphs for Priests so that you can plan how you will approach the new challenges that Northrend and the Lich King offer you.
What are Glyphs?
Glyphs are a new secondary system that allows characters a level of customization. They are an important part of your gearing strategy. Glyphs become available to players starting at level 15, and are divided into two types:
Major Glyphs
and
Minor Glyphs
.
Major Glyphs
introduce substantial improvements to specific spells or abilities.
Minor Glyphs
also modify spells or abilities, but the results may be purely cosmetic or may only introduce a small improvement.
All Glyphs are produced through the Inscription profession. If you don't have access to a friendly Scribe, you should be able to find your Glyphs on the Auction House. For more information about Inscription, how to create Glyphs, and where to obtain the recipes, check out our Inscription guides:

Using Glyphs
You can see and set your Glyphs by opening your
Talents window
and clicking the
Glyphs
tab. The Glyphs tab accommodates 6 Glyphs, 3 Minor and 3 Major. These become available as you advance in levels, starting at Level 15:
Level 15:
1 Major and 1 Minor Glyph
Level 30:
Add 2nd Major Glyph
Level 50:
Add 2nd Minor Glyph
Level 70:
Add 3rd Minor Glyph
Level 80:
Add 3rd Major Glyph
Drag a Glyph to the desired space to equip it. To replace it, you can drag a new Glyph to that space. Note that the replaced Glyph is destroyed and is
not reusable
.

Major Glyphs for Priests in Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Major Glyphs are an integral part of your build. They can be acquired from a player with the Inscription profession or purchased from the Auction House.
Glyph
Description
Your Circle of Healing spell heals 1 additional target.
Your Dispel Magic spell also heals your target for 3% of maximum health.
Reduces the cooldown on Dispersion by 45 sec.
Reduces the cooldown of your Fade spell by 9 sec.
Reduces cooldown and duration of Fear Ward by 60 sec.
Reduces the mana cost of your Flash Heal by 10%.
If your Guardian Spirit lasts its entire duration without being triggered, the cooldown is reset to 1 min.
Increases the damage and healing of your Holy Nova spell by an additional 20%.
Your Hymn of Hope lasts an additional 2 sec.
Increases the armor from your Inner Fire spell by 50%.
Increases the amount healed by your Lightwell by 20%
Reduces the mana cost of Mass Dispel by 35%.
Reduces the chance targets will resist or break your Mind Control spell by an additional 17%.
Increases the damage done by your Mind Flay spell by 10% when your target is afflicted with Shadow Word: Pain.
Increases the radius of effect on Mind Sear by 5 yards.
Allows Pain Suppression to be cast while stunned.
Reduces the cooldown of Penance by 2 sec.
Your Power Word: Shield also heals the target for 20% of the absorption amount.
Your Prayer of Healing spell also heals an additional 20% of its initial heal over 6 sec.
Increases the duration of your Psychic Scream by 2 sec. and increases its cooldown by 8 sec.
Reduces the duration of your Renew by 3 sec. but increases the amount healed each tick by 25%.
Reduces the cast time of your Shackle Undead by 1.0 sec.
While in Shadowform, your non-periodic spell critical strikes increase your spell power by 30% of your Spirit for 10 sec.
Targets below 35% health take an additional 10% damage from your Shadow Word: Death spell.
The periodic damage ticks of your Shadow Word: Pain spell restore 1% of your base mana.
Your Smite spell inflicts an additional 20% damage against targets afflicted by Holy Fire.
Increases the duration of Spirit of Redemption by 6 sec.
Minor Glyphs for Priests in Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Minor Glyphs give minor bonuses and cosmetic effects. They can be acquired from a player with the Inscription profession or purchased from the Auction House.

Description
Reduces the mana cost of your Fade spell by 30%.
Reduces the mana cost of your Power Word: Fortitude and Prayer of Fortitude spells by 50%.
Your Levitate spell no longer requires a reagent.

Increases the duration of your Shadow Protection and Prayer of Shadow Protection spells by 10 min.
Receive 5% of your maximum mana if your Shadowfiend dies from damage.
