Up to date Rune Tracker

Salutations,

I'm leveling blood with some friends and though I've read the guides and have a decent feel for my tetris timing, I haven't been able to find a rune tracking addon that is up to date with 4.3. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or let me know if any of the 4.2 addons work well enough to use?

Hi! This is Orranis, presumably the writer of the guide you read based by your use of the word Rune Tetris (coulda been Lichloathe). The Rune Tracking addon I'm currently using is Yury's Rune Display, it has the same skin as the default Rune Display, but allows you to move it around, reconfigure the shape and order as you please, and do other things like choose whether or not to represent the rune cooldown as a number on top of the rune or scale it.

Indeed, your guide (5/5 btw) has been very helpful. I'm glad to hear that YRD does the job still; I'll have to get that before I log in.

IceHUD works. I don't understand, what kind of functionality you're looking for, apart from having runes right in front of your eyes, and a clear distinction of their cooldowns.

It wasn't really a question of the functionality, more of finding one up to date. Every time I went looking for an addon I could only seem to turn up an out of date version.

Depends, what you deem "out of date".
If you're judging solely by patch number they were released in, I can tell you that API wasn't changed much through Cataclysm, and even before that.
I'm using mods, that were written for 3.2, without an issue.

Just that it works as intended and doesn't normally induce any 'fatal' gameplay problems.

Well, you can check, how old SBF is. The one that is 3.1, not 3.2 beta.
It still works flawlessly. Though it's not about runes... but I'm using it to track buffs/debuffs in the way they are not stuck together or moving around aimlessly.
