We done this one on 25 man last night.

What we did is:

Use 3 tanks. And all other players go stand inside the melee box of the boss (also the ranged) hunters need to collapse there when he starts casting the spikes . In that way the fires spawn behind the players, so noone needs to move. The tanks just normally tank and kinda get most of the flames, they just shift left/right to avoid them.

Because everyone is very close to eachother it is really easy to kill the bonespikes in time.

Once using this tactic we had the achievement within a few tries.

a very effective macro is

/tar Lord Marrowgar
/tar Bone Spike

then press it when he says "the only escape is death" or another sign of him impaling
that way it will target target bone spike first priority, but target lord marrowgar if theres no spike

Done in 25 heroic, with the 15% buff. Have your dps and healers stay in the middle in a relatively tight one group (we had one person marked that we followed). The tanks went to opposite sides because Marrowgar targets the person furthest away from him. That way the bone spikes are in one group even during the bonestorm. Actually I think this is the best way to do it whether anyone needs the achievement or not.

I know most people don't need the achi because it's so easy to get in normal mode. But still some new people in our guild were missing this one because they went straight to heroic modes.
