The criteria of this achievemnt specifically says "Loot"

I remember when i had 248 Emblems of Valor and I was saved to all the raids which dropped Valor badges i decided to use the 2 emblems of conquest i got from Emalon 25 man to get the remaining 2 Valor badges.

Well afterwards it said that i was in posession of 250 Valor badges total but the achievemnt still said 248/250 Under "Loot 250 Emblems of Valor"

If converting or rather downgrading badges doesn't count towards "looting" the badges and

"* Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblem of Heroism or Emblem of Valor, such as Naxxramas or Heroic Halls of Stone, will now drop Emblem of Conquest instead. Emblems of Conquest can still be converted to Valor or Heroism."

Then I really don't see how anyone will get this achievement

All of the other achievements in this series say "Loot an Emblem of Heroism, Valor, Conquest and Triumph."

However this one says "Loot an Emblem of Heroism, Valor, Conquest or Triumph."

For these achievements will it be 1/25/50 etc total of all four types, or do you need 1/25/50 etc of each type for the achievement?

I think it will count the emblems of heroism, valor and conquest you have looted before patch 3.2.

So, for example, you have looted prepatch 3.2:
500 heroisms, 250 valors and 250 conquests emblems (which were achievements too), u will get these new achievements up to 1000 Dungeon & Raid Emblems.

Then you can loot 500 more conquests/triumph emblems to get to 1500.

Can someone on the PTR's confirm my theory ?

It says Heroism, Valor, Conquest OR Triumph.

My guess, they combine the 3 existing Chain-Achievements (Heroism, Valor & Conquest) together, so that some dedicated players will have already more than 1750 on their way to 2,5k. (1k Heroism, 500 Valor and 250 Conquest)

Some insane maybe even get the full 2,5k from the start.

i just want to point out an obvious oversight you are all not noticing, the achievement states to loot an emblem of heroism, valor, conquest OR truimph, not AND. meaning you get this achievement once you loot your first triumph or conquest...

the emblems you get as rewards from random lich king dungeons don't count. I didn't get this achievement until I killed the first boss in normal forge of souls.
