There is many report of the damage reduction part of the talent not working right in 2.0.1. Wait for it to be fixed before investing in it?

This does not count towards the crit chance cap because there isn't a cap....the following is a extract from http://www.wowwiki.com/Resilience

The damage taken from a critical strike is capped at 25%, which equates to 492.5 resilience at level 70. However, there is currently no cap on critical strike chance reduction.

This is an extremely useful talent for anyone with a felguard. It greatly increases the pet's viability as an offtank, as the problem is often keeping the bugger alive.

so I am told that our pet get 80% damage reduction via Avoidance, from AOE damage.

would this talent bring it to 95% damage reduction? so is it safe to say that my pet will be well alive against raid bosses?

My felguard regularly tanks Sapphiron's deep breath in the air phase. Goes "Ho hum" as the breath crashes to the ground wiping out dumb pugs (or guildies!) but barely scratching FG. But most of the damage is negated by Avoidance anyway. IMO, you might as well spend 2 points in Improved Health Funnel than 3 points in Demonic Resil. Imp. Health Funnel both heals and protects your FG. That's how Voidwalkers tank Sartharion if you see the videos.

This 3 TP are not about just using your pet as a tank, but avoiding to stop casting and heal your pet.

as a demon lock i have no problem what so ever in dueling rogues or palas.... how ever if they are smart they will CC you and pwn your pet....

which means you will lose:
-Soul Link
-Master demonologist
-Demonic knowlege
-Demonic pact
(this is BAD for us demon locks! its worst than a Warrior being Disarmed!)

You will become from a lv 80 geared lock to a lv 70 lock with crappy gear and no weapon!
You will lose SP and Survivability and you can literaly be 3-4 shoted easily by a pala or a rogue with out him having to use any CDs...
If you dont have Fel domination and master summunner ready you will be pwned... and not just the trouble of pull your pet out again, but to SL it again is bad.... and in the process you can get 2-4 shoted or badly injured and use unnecessary mana.

And yes I can undestand why you would pick IMP health funnel but if your stunned by a pala or a rogue or feared you cant health funnel....
same rules apply to Fel Synergy yes health funnel will heal your pet better and reduce Dmg but if your not able to heal him he will die...
(so if your pet keeps dying Fel Synergy is what you need)

This 3 TP have proven to be worth my time as it will make me a better tank taking all those fast single hits from a rogue having a -3% ontop of my -10% from resilliance adds up to -13% in case of a rogue trying to kill you with 4-5k blow crits every second so pretty much at this point where your stunned and unabble to attack your PRAYING for those hits not to crit you, and your pet is the only hope to down rogue/pala HP down a little while you take all the dmg.... now tell me if the -3% crit was worth it... your pet is still up DPS your target (not dead) you are still alive taking the Dmg untill CC breaks (not dead), and the enemy cant down you while getting hit by your pet and lossing HP (frustration for the enemy that's thinking your just another squishy class)

Might not look like alot to you but in the long run making your pet live through out an ambush (enemy trying to kill your pet) untill you get out of sap/stun/fear/sleep/charm/clyclone/blind/disoriented/iceblocked is just good enough reason to get 3/3, but like that wasn't enough... in addition to make you hard to kill!

Master demonologist -5% less DMG (FG pet) -10% (VW pet) i prefer FG as it will make up for the 5% less in Dmg done and mitigation is universal (magic and physical)
Molen skin -6%
Glyph of SL -5%(im not a fan of this one as i have to much Survivability already)

That's almost 36% damage mitigation! (i say almost because you cant just add them up as Molten skin will be the 1st mitigation and after that is SL (20% no glyph 25% with glyph) and lastly -5% if you have FG (this could be 10% if u choose VW or FH)
and the godly META:
600% more armor
6% less crit on physical attacks
now add
Demonic resilliance -3% crit
to my 905 resilliance gear (-10% crit)

that's -19% less crit that really hurts rogues, warriors, DK's, Paladins, Ferals (any class that makes us Squish when it comes to us being CC to death)

I know its alot of Text but i feel people should know how important this 3 TPs are in PvP and in PvE (more in PvP) This 3 TPs are sooo good that i dont feel the need of Fel Synergy any more and i can use those two TP's on 2/2 IMP Health stone which is another great TP.

Before this gets down grated i would like you guys to try this 3/3 and you will see the difference when it comes to you dying fast or you being petless...
