It looks like the text on this article was copied as is from the retail version of the page. Neither the "Greater" (Ironpaw) tokens nor the dailies in the capital cities exist in Wrath, and you obviously can't buy Cataclysm recipes with them at the moment.

As far as I'm aware, you've got your 1 (or 2 for Mustard Dogs) tokens per day from the cooking daily in Dalaran (EDIT: Plus 1 from the Spice Bag?), plus 5 if you happen to get a Waterlogged Recipe from the fishing daily bag or auction house. Three will net you a recipe for one of the personal foods such as primary stats or armor penetration, five tokens will get you the recipe for the Fish Feast, and one can get you ten of the Northern Spices used to cook all of this food.

And if you're rolling in them, you can spend 100 to get a hat that makes you cook faster. Old comments say it reduces all cooking times to 0.5 seconds, but I can't personally confirm. You'll also get an achievement.

these tokens are very valuable specially early expansion so use them wisely. you can also make a good amount of gold selling Northren spices if you are broke.
