If you are a class with AE-capabilities, I'd suggest you go west from Jotunheim to the scourge area to get this quest done fast. There you'll find Converted Heroes in packs of 7-8 patrolling the area so with few pulls you should be done with this quest. Another good side is that you can continue directly to the Court of Bones to do the Battle Before the Citadel.

However, some caution is adviced since these mobs use Incapacitating Shout reducing your movement speed by 60%, Mortal Strike and are immune to any form of crowd control except stuns.

Another great place, if you are a Tank or AoE capable class that doesn't want to hunt around for mobs, is Mord'rethar.

If you fly up onto the top of the gate and head west towards the large room that houses Coprous the Defiled, outside, to the left of the doorway you will find a Shadow Adept. They spawn/summon 15 Undying Minions which can be pulled very easily to complete your quest.
They are melee-only mobs, but do cast a Necrotic Strike that can really start to hurt after a while!

Note: Whilst the Adept does agro, they do not cast and seem to be rooted in place. Simply run away to drop combat, or kill them.

As you advance from Aspirant to Valiant to Champion within the Argent Tournament, there will be dailies available for killing the Scourge of Icecrown. The Aspirant version requires 8 kills, the Valiant 10, and the Champion 15. Prior to 3.2, you could kill most types of Scourge in Icecrown for credit, but now only the Cult of the Damned counts. Thus, it is no longer possible to kill the same mobs to complete both the Valiant and Champion quests.

This particular quest is for Alliance Champions who are death knights. As for all the Champion quests, the Writ reward is for purchasing reputation for the individual city factions from their quartermasters, while the Purse pays out a flat 10g reward. Thus if you are an Embaixador da Aliança, always go for the purse. The other champion versions of this quest include:

While doing this quest, get the quest of any other faction as well (unless you are the champion of all cities). You can do two quests at once!

Along with doing Valiant Field Training for your next city of choice, Leave Our Mark is a great quest to complete with this one at the same time. It requires the same number of kills (Vrykul count as Icecrown Scourge), you get additional Vrykul Bones, and you gain Ebon Hold reputation should you need it.

Pair this with Blood of the Chosen The Vrykul you are required to kill for that quest count towards the Scourge kill count.

Keep in mind that you are required to kill 5 more Vrykul, than you are required to kill Scourge for Taking Battle to the Enemy though!

This quest has been changed from any scourge mob to Cult of the Damned members. Commonly found south of the Argent Tournament area at Sindragosa's Fall.

Since the quest was changed with last patch the best place to do it now in my eyes is the new territory west of the tournament grounds (Deatchspeaker's Watch; 65,23 and further west) .
You have to do some other dailys here as well and all the NPCs belong to the "Cult of the Damned".

I have found the best place to farm cultists since 3.2 is the camp just west of the Tournament grounds.

[Zor'be the Bloodletter at the Argent Tournament Grounds wants you to kill 15 members of the Cult of the Damned. You may kill cultists in any part of Icecrown.]

[While we all play at mock combat, it will do us good to remember that the real enemy surrounds us. The Argent Crusade wants to use competition to find the best fighters, but we can tell that by who returns from battle. Let's show the paladins that we are willing to take battle to the Cult of the Damned, even while making preparations for the tournament.

Go forth into Icecrown and slay any of the cultists you encounter. They have a strong presence around Aldur'thar and Deathspeaker's Watch.]
