As you advance from Aspirant to Valiant to Champion within the Argent Tournament, there will be dailies available for killing the Scourge of Icecrown. The Aspirant version requires 8 kills, the Valiant 10, and the Champion 15. Prior to 3.2, you could kill most types of Scourge in Icecrown for credit, but now only the Cult of the Damned counts. Thus, it is no longer possible to kill the same mobs to complete both the Valiant and Champion quests.

This particular quest is for Alliance Champions of all classes but death knights. As for all the Champion quests, the Writ reward is for purchasing reputation for the individual city factions from their quartermasters, while the Purse pays out a flat 10g reward. Thus if you are an Embaixador da Aliança, always go for the purse. The other champion versions of this quest include:

Along with doing Valiant Field Training for your next city of choice, Leave Our Mark is a great quest to complete with this one at the same time. It requires the same number of kills (Vrykul count as Icecrown Scourge), you get additional Vrykul Bones, and you gain Ebon Hold reputation should you need it.

Pair this with Blood of the Chosen The Vrykul you are required to kill for that quest count towards the Scourge kill count.

Keep in mind that you are required to kill 5 more Vrykul, than you are required to kill Scourge for Taking Battle to the Enemy though!

A great spot for taking out all 15 in one mob is at (64,63). There are 15 Undying Minions in formation along with one Shadow Adept. One stop shopping.

As of 3.2 this quest has been changed so that you need to kill 15 Cult of the Damned Members.

Cillian Daybreak at the Argent Tournament Grounds wants you to kill 15 members of the Cult of the Damned. You may kill Cult of the Damned members in any part of Icecrown.

You can find members of Cult of the Damned at Deathspeaker's Watch at (48,20); due west of the Argent Tournament Grounds.

If you do The Black Knight's Curse while doing this one, killing the Cult Assassin counts toward the 15. As a matter of fact, since assassin and the saboteur both respawn very quickly I was able to farm him for this quest.

The three Cultist Bombardiers from 'Threat From Above' don't seem to count toward this quest, so don't just kill 12 cultists and think you'll be good.
