You will find Blackhoof Village at (42.3, 13.9). While there you just need to kill the Grimtotem Elder who will drop a note. Gather three of these notes and you can create the Grimtotem Battle Plan.

*It is easy to see the Grimtotem Elder because of their glowing staves.

Blackhoof Village is shown @ 42, 13 if you refer directly to the map.
It's North of Brackenwall Village.
Travelling there, the entrance starts @ 45,17.
If you're coming in using the entrance stated, after killing the 2 guards on your left & right,
there are 2 more patrol guards you need to kill.

After killing the 4 mobs, i recommand to keep to your furthest right side(the right side is stones).
Walking in on the stones, i don't have to kill additional mobs, no aggros and i can pull the "Grimtotem Elder" easily to where im standing 43, 13.

Collect x4 of the Grimtotem Note to combine into one plan.

Lastly, the Grimtotem Elder carrys a staff which look like they have got fiery enchant on(orange glow).

Actually, There's two quests to seek out tabetha. One from the guy at the entrance to Brackenwall. And another one after the Grimtotem chains.

So take your own advice.

The Shady Rest Inn quest chain can start either at the Inn itself, from the objects, or from Brackenwall Village (37.6,31.7), Dustwallow Marsh.
If the player chooses to start the quest chain in Brackenwall, Krog (36,31) will give the following quest:

Inspecting the Ruins

This quest completes at Inspector Tarem (29.6,47.5), located just outside of the inn, who will then use powder to help 'illuminate' the "clues." This basically causes purple arrows to appear, pointing at the individual quest objects strewn about the destroyed inn. Obtaining and completing this quest is not necessary, as the quest chains can be started directly from the objects regardless.

From the Shady Rest Inn (29.4,47.5), the quest branches into three paths, each starting when a different item gets looted.
The first quest for each chain will have you bring the three items to Krog in Brackenwall Village.

Loot the Black Shield (29.6,48.6):

Loot the Theramore Guard Badge (29.8,48.2):

After completing all three quest chains, Krog will offer a fifth The Black Shield quest, asking players to bring the Blackened Iron Shield to Mosarn (55.6,79.6) in Thunder Bluff.

Mosarn will then volunteer new information regarding the "mystery" and starts the following short chain:

i cant find elders at 46.46.
There is a village at 42.13.
North, in the Bluefen. U can find them there...

The quest is actually in Dustwallow Marsh. It is north east of Brackenwall Village.

lvl 37 bloodhoofs, very easy for 40 druid

Its very hard to know what the cords are unless you have the add on's and are in the right map to show them. took me for ever it seemed to find it. hadn't been there yet.

can do with other quest, more then coincidence

you must right click on the notes after collecting four to combine and there you have wat u need

When I attack the elders, no matter how close I am to them, every attack I try comes out as evade. They also ignore me. They do not attack even if I'm within range. Am I missing something?

With the activities of the Grimtotems in Thousand Needles brought to light, many tauren now regard them with suspicion. We've seen high-ranking Grimtotems engage in murder and kidnapping to advance their interests and I fear we may become their next target.

Blackhoof Village, to the northeast, near Bluefen, is a large new Grimtotem settlement. Their leaders, the elders, will all have orders from Thunder Bluff. See if you can capture the orders and piece them together to learn the Grimtotems' plans.
