Comentário de Finkle

I think i'll take that back thank you.

Comentário de Merowlin

Ace Ventura anyone?

Now, lets put that aside..
This is one of many items inside of Majordomo Executus's cache.

It's not THAT good but... well... atleast it looks cool...

This is a reasonably decent healing weapon. Better stuff is availble - Mageblades and Jin'Do's Hexxers - but the FR is nice, and the stats are lovely after you slap +55 on it.

Comentário de munix

Great healing mace. Still use it in raids with +22 int enchant. The mp/5 is really nice, currently up to about 48mp/5 on my Paladin.

Comentário de Asher

Great mace for druids or pallies. Throw the +22 int enchant on it and you'll be fine for raiding. Also a good FR addition for healers.

Comentário de 7308

A very good mace for shamans, druids or paladins, the best effective enchant is +22intellect since this mace is usually used for FR Gear. FR Gear means gimp in stats, and +22 int (+330mana) can be a lifesaver.

Comentário de 7047

Put a spirit enchant on this, and you've got a great regen weapon for those super long fights. Great for druids, and not too shabby for pallys, either!

Comentário de Wildarms1

very nice pally weap. it can last a long time because of the stats, IMO stack this sucker with 22 int.

Comentário de 8403

This weapon is great for any of the hybrid classes. Druids, shamans, and paladins are all able to use this, and all of them could largely benefit from the stats on this. The +9 mana/5 seconds is probably one of the strongest mana regens on any weapon at this point in the game. If you're a druid, paladin, or shaman, you'd be smart to go after this.

Comentário de ClanniaFarstride

Excellent model... We need a better one that looks like this... Maybe crafted by Engineers?

"Property of Finkle Einhorn, Grandmaster Adventurer"

Grandmaster Adventurer sounds like a pretty good proffesion if you ask me ;D

Comentário de 414005

As of 6/30, there is a new Heirloom version of this on the 3.2 PTR. it has a very small copper cost, stam, agility, Fire Resistance(o.O), ArP, and attack power. However, it is broken, at least for me saying "Requires level 1 to 0 (1)", despite being on an 80 character.

Comentário de Thottbot

Finkle Einhorn? Did anyone else think of Ace Ventura when they saw this? "Finkle is Einhorn, Einhorn is Finkle."

Comentário de Thottbot

this is druid, paladin or shaman
paladins will never be in a group with a shaman, but if a paladin ninja's this from the horde, give him props, and ask him how the hell he did it (and vice versa), in my opinion though, druid makes the most use, increased healing, mana, and it is a massive life boost in DB form, and they can not use shields.... so yeah....

Comentário de Thottbot

This is possibly the funniest item thread on thottbot. It seems like there's an argument over whether Paladins or Shamans should get this. Classic.

Comentário de Thottbot

Last time i thought, this was to review the weapon. Unfortunatly, a bunch of nerds with too much time on their hands decided to screw around. So instead of wasting my time and reading all this bs, I'll just say this: ITS A GAME. You got ganked by a pally/shaman once or twice, good for you, so havent we all. So instead of complaining just play the game, that's what it was made for and that what you should do. Anyway what exacly is the best weapon for a druid? This on looks good but i've seen better....

Comentário de Thottbot

A. If a Guild is doing an MC run, usually the goal is to get a weapon like this or gets the mats for it. And generally, it's for one or two specific people. That's how rolls are determined.

B. Agreeing with the poster waaaay up there, there aren't enough Paladins who use their Judgments. Use them! Each Judgment is designed to go along with another one of your attacks, generally speaking. Example: Judgment of Crusader adds on to any Holy damage done. Add that to Seal of Command and suddenly you and everyone else (who can use Holy attacks) is doing that much more damage! I played with another Pally last night and he couldn't figure out how I was able to do nearly 500 dmg with Verigan's Fist at level 32. Well, 350 Holy crit + 150 normal damage = 500, and one very dead Dark Iron Dwarf. He also didn't think that if he used the Judgment of Light that everyone in our party might be able to gain life back from attacks, not just him!

C. Just like D2, this game is about planning your abilities ahead of time. I didn't use a single talent point until level 22 because I wanted to wait and find out what would aid me best in a tough battle.

Anyway, on topic, this weapon would be good for anyone that 1) can use it, and 2) has specced the character to best take advantage of its properties. Which, by all accounts, can be said about any Epic weapon.

Oh, and by the way, just because it's good in PvP doesn't mean it has to be used in it. Not all players do PvP.

And I thought racism in the REAL world was bad..sheesh.

Comentário de Thottbot

It's a good thing that this has flame resist on it; I feel crisped just reading this entry!

It drops from Majordomo's chest. It's certainly not a 100% drop rate because we didn't get it this weekend. :-(

This weapon is very good for Paladins. Int and mana regen are the two most important things to get. And because we rarely do any tanking in MC, wielding a 2-hander is just fine. We do occassionally melee; mostly on the Lava Spawns and other trash mobs. This would be a great help with Onyxia, since we melee in phase 1 and 3.

Paladins need good fire resist for Ragnaros. We've got to stay up close with the tanks in order to keep Fire Aura on them, so we need survival there too. Drop a +22 Int enchant or a +healing enchant on this and it's awesome. Of course, all this goes for Shamen as well.

If priests or druids can wield 2-h maces, then it's a good choice for them also. But since they melee less, your group would probably do better giving this to a Paladin.

The +fire resist and the high damage is good for Warriors, though I'm not sure how the speed normalization in v1.8 is going to affect the damage output for them. However, I think warriors have more choice of good +fire resist armor than Paladins do, so I would hope that your group would consider that when passing out this hammer.

Comentário de Thottbot

Just got this today on my pally, maybe our 15th Domo kill, we've only seen it once before. Druids in our raid are allowed to spend DKP on it but they're extremely persuaded to stick with the SoD... which in my opinion is a better druid weapon. Still, like so many have said, if your guild has MC on farm, you're using DKP anyway, so let the points decide, and therefore: Pally/Shammy/Druid... whoever speaks loudest :).

Paladins do just as well in PvP as PvE... the most durable healer in the game. I spam out heals, cleanse, buff and assist... and boom- Knight Captain.

In other news, it looks great and the only thing I'd want to eventually replace it with is a Herald of Woe :).

Comentário de Thottbot

doesnt glow when enchanted?

Comentário de Thottbot

Our guild has been clearing Domo for months and months now and we only have one Finkle's in the guild. We just got the Salamander Scale Pants or whatever they're called (sick Druid pants) the other night, which a druid of ours has been waiting for for a VERY long time. All of the drop rates on this site are terrible. We got the Eye of Sulfuras the first time we downed Rag, and we have another warrior now with the Eye (our bank is still recouperating from all the mats it took to craft the first Sulfuron Hammer).

Comentário de Thottbot

nice wep for any healing class that can use it.

id like to see it on a druid more then anyother however.(thats comeing from a paly)

cuz palys and shamans should be useing a shield and a good 1 hander for endgame instances.

Comentário de Thottbot

I got this item in MC from Majordomo's chest a few days ago. It's a great weapon and I was happy to get it right before Ragnaros...the +15 FR is nice and the 9mp5 is great. I put a +22 intel enchant on it.

Good damage, good for healing, good fire resist. Damn I love this mace.

Comentário de Thottbot

This mace is for any class with mana that can use 2h maces. That means Druids, Shaman, Pallys. When this item drops, the person of one of those 3 classes with the highest dkp gets it. This argument about who should get it is pointless. This mace is awesome for any class who can use it (except warriors cause it's clearly for someone with a blue bar). If you are a shaman, pally, or druid, and this weapon is better than what you are using currently, and you have the dkp to obtain it, then it's yours. When this mace drops for us, we look at the druid and shaman dkp leaders, and whoever has the most dkp of those 2 clases takes the weapon home (if they don't pass it). Most of you who are arguing that your class should get it before the other classes who can use it clearly don't go to MC, or at least don't have the right attitude about MC. MC isn't about YOU, it's about all 40 people. Making you uber isn't going to help your raid. Making the whole raid uber will. So druids, pallys, and shaman - spend your dkp with pride. Other classes - STFU.

Malistar's Defender & Aurastone Hammer
44.6 dps
+10+9 stam
+10+12 int
+5+9 mana 5 secs
+25 healing
2822 armour
52 block

Finkle's Lava Dredger
67.1 dps
+25 stam
+24 int
+15 fire res
+9 mana 5 secs

I have had my eyes on finlkles every since I became a pally, my guild knows I want it, everyone knows I want it, it'll drop eventualy and it will be mine. This said however I read Molten core drops to find another solution in Malistar's Defender & Aurastone Hammer for the healerdin.

The stats are very close. First thing I see is the fact that the mace and shield option win for the out and out healer with an extra +5 mana regen and +25 healing. This being said how ever and looking at the situation more practicly I ask my self what I am actualy doing in the big raids? Yes healing is by far top priority but I am offtenly walking up to the front line to have a bash huh. Most dam in MC is fire dam in any case so armor looses relivance but gives finkles the edge. The finkles also has a +6 stam advantage.

Also consider the dkp savings from finkles instead of 2 epics, the fact that its an awsome pally solo weapon and the fact that I have never used Seal of Crusaider making weapon speed irelivant and the fact it looks way cool, and well .. my mission in life is back to getting finkles. :D

Comentário de Thottbot

It's for paladins AND druids. Stop the senseless arguing already.

Comentário de Thottbot

just got this last night for my druid. I'm Probably going to put a +22 int enchant on it and use it at the start of a fight for the extra mana, then swap to my +healing gear, unless its a fight that needs +fire res :).

First of all. Druid's animal forms' damage is NOT based on the weapon's damage, thus this is not an ideal weapon for a druid.

This is best for a paladin or a shaman because they use EVERY aspect of the weapon: Damage, stats, manaregen. Druids only use the stats and manaregen and VERY seldomly the damage.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Good for druids. Good stats and druids hit with maces when soloing, if u guys didnt know.

Also as healer in UBRS/Scholo/strat raids I go whack the enemies and heal at same time.

Comentário de Allakhazam

To Be ounest, the only class who can really use the stats to the full ARE the Paladin, no question about it!
Does the druid really need DPS ? no.
Does the paladin need DPS, mana and health ? yes.
Ofcourse the druids can use this item, and yes i think the druids should be allowed to bid, also the shamans.
Anyway you twist this, the paladin and shamans are the classes who get FULL benefit of this wepon.
Did i hear someone say the paladins dont need the mana and regen so much ? hell. A PvP paladin need al the mana and regen he can get.

What enchant would you put on it if you were:

A feral druid?
A healing/pve druid?
An enhancement shaman?
A paladin?

I'm sure most people would go with +Int if they primarily deal with healing, but what if they like to "dish it out" in pvp? Just looking for some thoughts...

Comentário de Allakhazam

Yeah, they rotate. There is a spot (crank or something) of it not showing there. Personally, I think it looks pretty stupid. I truly prefer these types of designs stay towards the Engineering side. It is bad enough I am stuck in the same shade of green you'd find in an infants diaper and my shoulders make me look similar to an artichoke, I really do not enjoy the looks of anything I am wearing aside from my cloak.

Anywho, carry on with the 'who should get it first' debate. I thought I should have gotten it first, and I did. :)

The mana on it was bugged for me, also. I'd get the int. credit from it but no boost in my mana pool. I think it is working alright now, though.

Comentário de Allakhazam

acschroeder, its a quest gun for stratholme. After you complete the quest you get to keep the gun, it destroys some annoying NPC mobs in strat. Im a pally, have one too. Only ranged slot item pallys and druids can use so we just keep it equiped constantly.

That aside that is a SWEET pvp weapon. I dont like giving up my shield for MC runs or any raids for that matter, but could slaughter some people with that thing.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Finally, saved all my dkp to get it, too! And it's so worth it!

Comentário de Allakhazam

I'd say that it's good for a Restoration specced shaman or for a Druid. In a lot of ways it's actually better for a druid, since a druid can't use a shield.

This is at best a mediocre weapon for an enhancement specced shaman. The attack speed is simply too fast. WF damage is based on attack power which relaes directly to weapon speed. The faster the weapon the less damage done when WF procs.

As an Enhancement Shaman I use the Aurastone Hammer/ Draconian Deflector when I'm using a 1 hander, or a REAPER when I use a 2 hander. I really wouldn't want to waste points on this weapon.

If you are enhancement based and don't have a Reaper, then spend your DKP points on the Earthshaker.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Why does every class in WoW figure that a specific weapon or item is for their class and that class alone. if Blizzard wanted it that way it would be locked to that specific class as i do not see Druid only or Warrior only on these items that everyone fights about. SHUT UP roll on it like everyone else and get your shot at it fairly and quit crying about it. just cause you whine jump up and down and throw fits cause a pally got this over a Druid. or any other case your not having fun with the game its only a game the loot will always be there just run the instance again and again and again to get it. thus the reason for not making it class specific. to keep people going back for more. to keep you playing so they get more $$$. While you are whining and crying here you could be running the instance to get.
Ohh yea i don't Play who im just a forum troll.
i read everyone complaining about this stuff all the time and its funny how you can tell they lost the item to the class they are saying its not ment for.

Comentário de Allakhazam

in my opinion this is a bit better no matter who you are. It wasnt that hard to get, in fact he was a little harder than domo and the boss is the first in AQ40, just a few pulls in.

Should definitely be druid first, shaman/pally second , then warriors 3rd :P

Comentário de Allakhazam

Druid DPS is in no way affected by their currently equipped weapon DPS.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Paladins will add DPS (admittedly it's not exactly rogue), to a mob as well.

Quite regularly, when cleanse spamming a pally will be smacking away at a mob too, since cleanse is instant, it doesn't effect our swing time.

FYI:

It's a hybrid mace.

Pallys.
Shammys.
Druids.

All welcome to it if they wanna DKP on it.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Almost every post has pally this druid that, what no shaman love? =/

Personally I think it benefits to each class, some may get more out of it then others, but its silly to be arguing about it.

Lovely weapon, only dunno what enchant i need to put on it as a pala... +22 int (which is my preference) or +55 healing. Still, im very happy with it :D

Comentário de Allakhazam

got this thing for my shaman, its good times
I was after it for awhile, and finally our guild let shamans bid on this item(not only druids). It owns, and im plaining 2 get +22int on it

Comentário de Allakhazam

How is will of arlokk easier to get? It has a far lower drop rate. Anyway, 60 Tauren Druid on eitrigg, got this this week and put a +55 healing on it. Now I use this as a healing weapon, an Ironbark Staff with a spellpower enchant for grinding/nuking, and a Dancing Sliver with a spi enchant gets equiped right before I innervate. This would defenetly rock for a shaman as well, and for all those who say mallistars+aurastone is better, well, you may be right but this is very good and is only 1 epic to bid dkp on, not 2.

Comentário de Allakhazam

I just got this weapon for my l;vl 60 druid yesterday, it's awesome as a backup compared to will of arlokk, and is a good weapon by itself..planning to throw a 20 spirit enchant on it

Comentário de Allakhazam

This is obviously from major domos chest.. woot. The ELite should be dropping him tonight. hope that drops :)

Comentário de Allakhazam

druid mace first
then palidan
then warrior for the dps

and shaman dont get it at all because they are f4gs

Comentário de Allakhazam

go get an earthshaker if you want to do dps. paladins !@#$%ed out the druids/priests for wanting aurastone hammer because of it's dps. you want priority over something? go look for plate pieces or 2h swords with +int

Comentário de Allakhazam

staff of dominance is definitly a viable option, but will get more flack from other casters ;x will be nice to have both, switch to finkles when low on mp :3

Comentário de Allakhazam

In context of pve gaming that weapon is equally beneficial to any of the classes that can wield it.

I for one think it would be more suitable for a Shaman than any other class. Personally as a Druid I wouldnt lot on that item over Shamans in my guild because i think they will make much muhc better use of it.

As far all Alliance go, Paladins would make better use of it in PVP combat only. Paladins lack serious DPS and something like that would benefit them greatly, whereas a Druid should be in feral form most of the time and not benefit froms its DPS.

Just a Druid's Opinion!

Comentário de Allakhazam

Level 60 druid here and Druid above the one with the level 60 paladina nd 40 druid. Weapon damage and dps has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with you damage in bear or cat form.

How can you say that isn't a druid mace, do we not benefit from all the stats. We rely on regen as well. Plus look at the Tauren in the picture it's a Druid!

Comentário de Allakhazam

Our Guild has this set as Druid loot over Shaman. Shaman have to spec enhancement in order to use 2h maces/axes and while a few of ours are spec some into Enhancment most would have to respec in order to use this mace.

We set the Aurastone Hammer and the Malistar's Defender as Shaman Loot which combined give Shaman more mana regen per tick than Finkles, and the increased AC of a Shield for marginally less Int/Stam.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Why does a druid want this? Druids need spirit more than anything. This thing has no spirit. 9 mana every 5 seconds isnt equal to any kind of spirit boost. The DPS would be a total waste on a druid if they got this. IMO a Paladin/Shaman weapon. Druids can stick to Aurastone+Good offhand. Ambersteal keeper or SOD are druid weapons, this is obvious Pala/Shaman

Comentário de Allakhazam

it's a druid wpn and i'm a paladin.
If a paladin wants to do dmg he should go for bonereaver's edge crit over 2.5k dmg and for the stats are you are better of with Escudo do Observador only ppl that have it in my guild are druids and it's seems to work fine for them.

Tauren Shaman or druid owns this!

Comentário de Allakhazam

From Ace Ventura, of course.

And for Dark: in those 30 runs, did you kill the Majordomo Executus adds every time? If not you won't ever see it. If so, you have some REALLY bad luck.

Comentário de Allakhazam

I'm sorry but pally's will get much more use out of it than druids, there's no question about it. If it was slower, there'd be no question whatsoever. Dropped in Majordomo's chest for us last night.

Comentário de Allakhazam

For those who've been arguing, I will throw my gas on the fire. This should inarguably go to a druid or shammy before anyone else. If I was in charge of the raid and this was in domo's chest (our last one sucked :( ) I would sooner DE it than give it to a warrior, they simply don't use 2H weapons for anything beside soloing or PvPing where they would benefit much more from a strength bonus than the fire res and completely useless int. A 2H with this much stamina and resistance (not to mention intellect) should go to a shammy or a druid who may actually use a 2H weapon in the MC.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Paladin weapon first hands. We start with a mace and our pally quest is for a mace. We have +5 to maces. We us intellect jsut like any of the other classes and since we have a smaller mana pool we need it more. Druids start with a stave and can use a stave instead of a mace, we cant use staves. Druids will use the stats, and then spam root and moon fire. Pallys will use stats and the dps. If druids want a stat hammer get hammer of the grand crusader. Druids will swing it once in awhile, pallys will swing it ALL THE TIME.

Comentário de Allakhazam

quote - "whereas a Druid should be in feral form most of the time and not benefit froms its DPS."

- Is that not our own choice? Personally i prefer staying in caster form at almost any time..
And to be honest, shamans and paladins can use shields where druids can only use off hand "crap" -therefor I think that shamans and paladins should go with the aurastone hammer instead.. I mean, your argument is that you will benefit more from the DPS than a druid.. hmm, if you don't have a shield on, you won't even be able to melee much more than a druid (regarding shamans)..
Personally I would be dissapointed if a paladin won this over a druid, and since I'm alliance, I don't really care about the shamans claiming this weapon..

Comentário de Allakhazam

It's truely sad to see Druids trying to convince themselves that hey are entitled to this...

Comentário de Allakhazam

Lol im shocked at how many posts are on this weapon... Pallies/Druids/shamans should all be able to roll or bid on this item... Pallies and Shamans use the DPS more, but druids probably beefit more from the mana regeneration as they will be doing non-stop casting heals which makes their spirit useless except for innervate... I dont have any epic weapons so i wouldn't blink twice about bidding on this (im a druid)

Comentário de Allakhazam

Comentário de Allakhazam

Ok, Ive seen these arguments in posts on multiple weapons. Now from what ive seen of Blizzs weapons and the way most classes are set up, their weapons are designed for MULTIPLE classes. So saying its for one specific class is kinda retarded. There are many posts stating why its good for their class. So just be mindful of ur class and what it is you specificly need, if you think its good for you go for it. I say let who ever wants it, roll. Let fate sort out who gets it.

Props to Union (Bladefist) for this one:

I'm a Pally had my eye on this baby for months now, It's dropped twice now alliance side -> I overbid anyone who could wear it in the raid HOWEVER.

I Personally don't see an issue with druids using this weapon, if one had more points than me I would happily have seen it go to them. :)

Thanks Again Union!

Comentário de Allakhazam

Just for anyone using the old: 'it doesn have blabla class only on therefore it can be used by any class that can use'. Yeah thats a decent point, but a certain amount of common sense does have to be applied to situations.

For instance as a warrior I would have to shoot any other warrior who wanted this in the head if they went for it over any of the mentioned classes.

Some weapons are obviously not intended for certain classes even though they can use them, warriors being a great example since they can use loads of stuff :).

Hehe... got this beauty my first time in the Core, when I was level 57 and filling in an open spot. OF course when I hit 60 for next's week's run it was undeniably helpful.

And with the new patch, with Intellect being my new damage/healing, the weapons what I use for tanking and in general. It's that damn good.

Comentário de Allakhazam

How many time will you see a pally in MC using a 2-h almost never all my pallies in my guild are 1h mace/sword and shield. There holy spec and have the judgement of light on the mob and their hitting them getting life back. I like to think this a Druid first thing. Pallys have so many more things to get man regen off. Like the Shard of the Scale. So i think Druids will beninfit the most from this. Plus in pvp most pallies I have the unstopable force.

Comentário de Allakhazam

I'd just like to say that IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU THINK THIS IS A DRUID OR A PALLY WEAPON! Most guilds, if not all that have ever seen this drop, use the DKP pnt system. The fact of the matter is that it is most likely going to the Pally/Druid/Shamman who is leading in DKP. If I were you I wouldnt get my hopes up that any character of these 3 classes is going to pass on It. So if you want to claim this as yours, keep it in your guild and off the forums and mainly to yourself because you my friend have absolutely NO bearing on who gets this item or not. :0

yes definetly a druid weapon, a good pally weapon to be sure though and decent for the shaman, it would definetly be a fight.

Ahem, Shaman. How many shaman split tank? How many Shamans use two hands as assists? How many shamans use maces? This should with out a doubt go to a Shaman, over any druid. The way this works is kinda like Rogues rolling on fangs of mystics, or hunters rolling on typhoon.

Comentário de Allakhazam

by all means this should go to a pally first. the only damage that a pally can do is in melee. and pally damage IS affectd by DPS. a druid would be better off finding another mace with intellect. if a druid in my guild took this mace over a pally, i would probably request he be kicked.

Comentário de Allakhazam

it's a good mace for shamans, paladins, AND druids. they all benefit from the stats and dps. why even argue over it? grow up.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Gonna have to say good for both, but more usable by a paladin. Avoiding the stats and just going for DPS. If a paladin hits with SoC and they both crit, this item is AWESOME. Could easily crit 2k+ (added with SoC). Its definately possible since I'm only using a Barbarous Blade and have done that many of time.

So if you want it for stats sure, goes either way. But if you have a paladin with a horrible weapon that melees/heals, dont be a jerk and let him have that good dps so you can spam Moonfire. :)

Comentário de Allakhazam

I would like to point out to all the shaman saying that the dps on this weapon would be inferior to a reaper are wrong.

If you were to really think about it, Windfury works with attack power yes, but unless you are attack power heavy (which most shaman are not, unless you are fully enhancement and only rely on your melee damage, which I consider a waste) this weapon is far superior to the reaper in DPS.

I myself have an Arcanite Reaper, Lava Dredger, and an Unstopable force. The burst damage on the reaper and the force are nice for pvp, but can be devistating in pve (drawing mass amounts of aggro on your first hit...) not to mention the lack of stats gimps you in the long run, as your main priority is healing, no matter what instance you are running. Instead, this weapon delivers more damage over time, rather than at bursts like the reaper.

Although the reaper/force will hit harder when WF procs, this weapons WF will proc more often, ultimately equaling out the speed/dps difference. The only way the reaper/force can be superior in DPS is for you to get really lucky on WF procs (which happens once in a blue moon) In general, though, faster weapons will deliver more DPS.

In conclusion, this weapon is the best hands down pve dps weapon for a shaman. For pvp slower is always better, because of the burst factor.

You would have to be joking to say that pallies can't have this... Stats are awsome for healodins, speed is awsome if they need to use it. For pallies, faster speed = good.

Why do people think just by being a druid we dont fight, we ARE NOT PRIESTS we can multi-task just like a palldin fights mellee, whislt useing spells, not to mention our cat form gets a strentgh bonus so imagine the damage we can do seriously, if this was a palladin weapon it would have a class specific saying CLASS: Palladin so STFU and grow up, only idiots say druids dont need DPS, end of story.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Personally i don't think it matters if your a druid, pally,or shamens every class can get great use out of this weopon. Having a shaman i personaly would prefer aurastone/malisters but i would gladly take this too. Really any of the three classes should be allowed to roll on it. Should come down to dkp not which of the three classes you are.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Druids are not a dps class either so your point is retarded. The fact is Paladin is melee druid is not. We benefit more than a Druid. This mace will sit on your shoulder most times, I will swing away. Since when does all wepaons have to do with Molten Core viable? It's called battle grounds and pvp. This weapon is Paladin all the way.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Far too fast for a SoCom Paladin. Maybe another type.. That doesn't use a shield... Hrm. Remember, it's not just min/max that affects SoCom damage, the slower the weapon the more Attack Power adds, hence Barman Shanker is the best Backstab dagger.

Druids and Shamans are it, imho. >:) Shamans even more, I think, as Amberseal Keeper is so much cooler.

Comentário de Allakhazam

This is THE end game weapon for druids we will use it 24/7 and never take it off. I can't see how shamans/pallys can use this better since they will probably run MC with shield. On the other hand druids will use this when soloing/pvp/instance. So i don't buy the whole use every aspect of it. In most guilds this weapon will be druids in first hand weapon. Aurastone Hammer + Draconian is shammys first in line for. Since someone brought up druid forms, you want us to go for this and some srt/sta weapon also since we don't benefit enuff in our forms? Didn't think so.

Are you people dumb?

There's no such thing as class-specific weapons unless it says so. Quel'Serrar for example.
I'm sure you should, you know, try to get this weapon before you bicker over whether it should go to a shaman or a paladin. REMINDER: It's a game.

Comentário de Allakhazam

they nerfed it! wasn't it 35FR? /whine, /whine, /whine...><

Comentário de Allakhazam

This is definitely a shaman/paladin weapon first.

End game, the druid is a healer/support role (if you don't believe that, you are in denial, as druids are only brought along for healing/innervate in raids). If a druid is seeking a weapon that gives them int, they should be using the argent crusader or glowing brightwood. If they seek a damage mace, they can just finish the Fordring quest for his warhammer. A paladin and shaman would use this weapon alot more than a druid standing in the back healing. It's that simple yet to say it can be used by warriors, now that's insane.

Comentário de Allakhazam

I see this weapon as a personal choice. If u are a druid u simply gotta ask yourself if u can make better use of this then a pally for example. And if that is the case i wouldn't oppose u going for it. As long as ur doing it coz u know u can make just as good use of it and not just coz it's purple.

/regards Leonaz

Comentário de Allakhazam

A druid cant benefit from this nearly as much as a shaman could or any other melee class that can use it.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Nice weapon only it looks so stupid and silly but whocares, drops often now 2 last month 1 last week and this night with guild on Alliance Bladefist side.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Well had this baby a while now.

It's basically made any 1h/shield combo completely redundant in pvp, it may not hit hard (double crit = 1.4k max), however @2.9 speed it can quickly reduce someone, what's funnier is they don't realise it.
What's even more amusing is if they are a skilled pvper they will be looking at your mana bar when you heal, if they see it barely move they will think "hmm...holy pveadin" ....low damage?
Not over time mate.

Combined with holy shock +HoW for burst..+ engie/other trinkets...?
Nah, this is a beautiful weapon for pally, pvp, pve, and solo grind.
I just feel that druids can benefit from it heavily, shamans too.

So, as has been said...all hybrids.... :P

Comentário de Allakhazam

we did over 30 MC runs and this damn finkles never "dropped" ^^

Comentário de Allakhazam

who'd it drop of?

Comentário de Allakhazam

I'd like to correct the previous poster. This mace has plenty of intellect, coupled with a +9 intellect enchant this would be more than enough. There are 3 other things on this weapon that make it very Druid friendly for end-game raids.

+25 Stamina. More health is a godsend for anyone.
+15 Fire Resistance. Can you say Molten Core and Onyxia with me?
Passive: Restores 9 mana every 5 sec. I don't know what it's like for you but some of the boss fights are pretty damn long. I've started collecting mana regeneration items to help alleviate my downtime. Less downtime = more people alive to finish the fight.

So, I'm not saying this is a Druid only mace. I'm saying that Druids have just as much right to this item as any other class.

Comentário de Allakhazam

I really think it should be paly first I'm not gona flame anyone and wish not to be OMG WTF YOUR WRONG back.

Druids have ranged damage spells palys don't at all. There for the only time a paly can do anything is in melee and the better weapon the better.

I'm not sure about this one. But I've heard druids cannot use certain items when they shapeshift. And if weapon doesn't have anything to do with animal dps another reason paly first.

Druids would do better rolling on all cenarion set pieces as druids are probably the least played class so you will likely get lots of those set pieces anyway. And druids Don't NEED this mace to be able to deal damage(unlike palys) and use their spells more often when there are other more helpul items to druids that palys don't need.

Well it looks cool and is one of the best wepons inte the game

Comentário de Allakhazam

Ok guys..first off, this my my wife's account so no laughing. Secondly, I have a 60 Paladin, and a 40 druid so can talk from both standpoints.

Bottom line...it would probably be worth more to a Paladin..but if someone in a group whined about a Druid rolling on something that would likely be a DRASTIC improvement on their ability to do damage, I'd jump all over them regardless of which char I was on with. I hear lots of people talking about chars role's in groups, but I dont play my druid just to heal in groups...I like PKing and dueling too. Animal forms do damage based on the weapon the Druid has. Yes they have spells, but they need the weapon, can use the weapon and it would mean a great deal to any druid who does not have a 60+ dps weapon already. Anyone who whines at a druid for rolling on such a weapon is on crack...period.

Also, anyone who said Paladins dont melee are also on crack. In groups, priests and druids primarily heal and even when I heal, Im usually swinging at something. Paladins have the plate armor for a reason folks and unless you have Holy shock, you have little to no means of doing damage unless you melee.

Comentário de Allakhazam

this is a sweet druid wepon, i cant wiat till i get it

Comentário de Allakhazam

Here was some question what enchant to put on this. As I use it on boss fights primarly (due it having +sta) then, I personally would slamm +spi enchant for it, if be druid like me - balance or otherhand, if a druid has this, one can wait and get better +spi staff from ZG.

Its either +spi or +int - depending of your playstyle.

For the question, what class should have this weapon? I say - player who would use it should have it. Any player, who uses mana and can have it., Its not locked for one class and nor should raidleaders decide is it more for a pally, druid or shaman.

I am druid, I have it and definitely it looks funny on my hand.

Comentário de Allakhazam

This is the difinitive Paladin weapon. Paladins by default use 2H mace, that's what they've always used, and always want to use.

A Human Paladin should have priority on this item because it fits every category for a pally. Druid can only use the DPS during bear and cat form, and can only use the INT / Mana regen stat in humanoid form.

This is the difinitive Paladin Weapon.

Comentário de Allakhazam

Only the stats on weapons effect Druids in Feral form. Stamina and Intellect is ideal for any build. Druids also need DPS weapons as much as anyone else because we don't always stay in Feral forms. I prefer to stay in Caster form as long as possible due to its spell versatility.

Since there aren't many Druids, we are pretty much guaranteed our epic set pieces. So, if we want to roll on anything else we can do so without much debate.

Also, it's important to remember that Paladins are used as backup healers and for cleansing, in Molten Core and Onyxia's Lair, not as damage dealers. They can find a much more useful Sword for DPS. In fact, the Obsidian Edged Blade has a much higher drop rate and much higher DPS.

Comentário de Allakhazam

What are you guys thinking? I mean seriously...

This is so obviously a Hunter Weapon!

And for those of you with no sense of humor.. I'm joking..

Comentário de Allakhazam

shamans are retarded

Comentário de Allakhazam

Personally, as a Paladin, I would rather have the Aurastone Hammer - let the druids have their lava dredgers first, i can wait for mine... from a healing perspective Aurastone is far better - combine it with a decent shield and you end up with better int/spirit, not to mention the +heal and additional 2200 armor class from the shield... only thing i can see as a problem is trading stamina for spirit and armor class (8 stamina is 80hp after all)... from majordomo i would rather have the Cauterizing Band (which I already have one of)

Comentário de Allakhazam

This weapon is great for either a druid or pally, but the fact that has nice high end slow dps makes it better for a pally who is most definitely going to melee dps with this. My guild gives equal chances for this weapon to either pally or druid but our druids have enough sense to pass to pallys for the purpose of melee until we all have one then it goes to druids. As for enchantz for it, it depends on where you primarily intend to use it. I would say for a paladin 22int for mostly PvE and crusader for PvP. Its going to do awesome crits with Seal of Command and a Crusader enchant.

Comentário de Allakhazam

this is a best for druid but if al ur druids have/dont want it can go to pallys and shammys
