Enhancement Shaman DPS Single Target Rotation

Totem de Elemental do Fogo: Fire Elemental is a nice DPS increase if it can attack for its 2 minute duration;

Espírito Feral: Use Feral Spirits if they will be able to hit the boss for most of their duration;

Arma da Voragem: Whenever you are at 5 charges, use them to cast Cadeia de Raios / Raio for damage or a large heal if needed. Using them at 3+ stacks is even better for DPS but do not clip white hits by casting just before a swing;

Ataque da Tempestade: Use Stormstrike on cooldown;

Fúria Xamanística: Use on cooldown or delay slightly to line up with heavy raid damage mechanics;

Choque Flamejante: Keep Flame Shock applied to your target;

Totem de Magma: Keep Magma Totem active near enemies;

Escudo de Raios: Keep Lightning Shield active for Choque Estático damage;

Choque Terreno: Use Earth Shock when Flame Shock is already active;

Nova de Fogo: Use Fire Nova if no higher priority ability is available;

Açoite de Lava: Use Lava Lash if nothing else is available, hopefully rarely throughout a fight.

Enhancement Shaman AoE Rotation

Totem de Elemental do Fogo: Fire Elemental is a nice DPS increase if it can attack for its 2 minute duration;

Totem de Magma: Keep Magma Totem active near enemies;

Nova de Fogo: Use Fire Nova on cooldown;

Ataque da Tempestade: Use Stormstrike on cooldown;

XamãTotemsEarth Totems

Totem de Elemental da Terra summons an Earth Elemental, which will try to taunt and gain aggro on any nearby enemies. It has a good chunk of health, making it useful for emergencies, but be careful with its tendency to pull all nearby enemies, even the ones you do not want pulled.

Totem da Força da Terra increases the Strength and Agility of nearby raid members.

Totem Litopele provides a good amount of extra Armor for raid members within its range.

Totem de Prisão Terrena slows enemies near it, and its short cooldown allows this to happen quite frequently, making it a great kiting tool, or when chasing enemies.

Totem Sísmico unlike Priest's Proteção contra Medo, works on everyone in the Shaman's party, and multiple times over a period, making it a very strong utility totem in PvP and any encounters with effects that can be dispelled by it.

Totem da Garra de Pedra is excellent in PvP with Glifo de Totem da Garra de Pedra and can also be useful when engaging multiple strong enemies at once as it will keep some of them distracted and stunned.

Fire Totems

Totem de Elemental do Fogo creates a Fire Elemental that brings extra single target and area of effect damage on a long cooldown.

Totem Calcinante shoots enemies for a small amount. Its DPS is quite bad, and Magma should always be prioritized.

Totem de Magma deals small amounts of area of effect damage around itself periodically. Use it for its damage and to enable the use of Nova de Fogo in your rotation but remember it needs to be very close to your enemies in order to hit them.

Totem de Resistência ao Gelo increases the Frost resistance of your party members.

Totem de Labaredas gives your raid group some extra Spell Power.

Water Totems

Totem de Torrente Curativa heals nearby party members for a small amount every 2 seconds.

Totem Fonte de Mana grants your raid extra Mana regen over time.

Totem de Resistência ao Fogo increases your party's Fire resistance.

Totem de Purificação removes disease and poison effects from nearby party members, which is useful whenever you are facing enemies that use dangerous diseases and / or poisons.

Air Totems

Totem de Cólera dos Ares grants a large amount of Spell Haste to your raid. Notably, this raid buff can only be provided by Xamãs.

Totem de Fúria dos Ventos grants a huge amount of Melee Haste to party members.

Totem de Resistência à Natureza increases your party's Nature resistance.

Totem de Aterramento will absorb an enemy spell cast at a nearby party member, making it very useful to dodge deadly spells such as Ignimpacto, when properly timed.

Totem-sentinela is a special kind of totem, that grants vision over an area (by right-clicking on the buff, swapping vision to the totem), and giving warnings when it is attacked. It is mostly used to help control/gain vision of areas in PvP.

SpellsDamage Sources

Ataque da Tempestade is a strong short cooldown attack which is not normalized, meaning it will hit harder the slower your weapons are. You will want to use it as much as possible for damage and Mana management with Ataque da Tempestade Aprimorado.

Açoite de Lava is a new talented attack, which unfortunately deals quite low damage, overall.

Nova de Fogo is an area of effect damage ability that radiates from your current Fire Totem, with a cooldown potentially as low as 3 seconds with Glifo de Nova de Fogo and Nova de Fogo Aprimorada.

Choque Flamejante deals damage over time to the target, making it useful to prevent Rogue restealthing.

Estouro de Lava is a new single target damage spell which always critical strikes if Choque Flamejante is present on the target. Unfortunately, it is not affected by Arma da Voragem and thus never used by Enhancement.

Raio deals single target damage in a Mana efficient way.

Cadeia de Raios deals area of effect damage. While it has a lower cast time and does more damage than Raio, even against a single target, it also has a much higher Mana cost.

Choque Terreno damages your target and reduces its melee attack speed.

Choque Gélido deals damage and slows the target's movement speed by 50% for 8 seconds, making it very useful for kiting.

Escudo de Raios is a self-buff that causes damage to enemies that hit you and also when you hit enemies with Choque Estático.

Utility

Fúria Xamanística is a short-cooldown defensive which can also regenerate a significant amount of your Mana while active. Use this regularly through an encounter to keep your Mana and Health high!

Onda Curativa is a slow casting single target heal. It can be used for Mana-efficient healing with Arma da Voragem.

Cura Encadeada is a slow casting, Mana efficient area of effect heal that can also be used with Arma da Voragem.

Onda Curativa Menor is a fast casting, Mana inefficient heal that you should use to quickly stabilize targets in emergencies, or most PvP situations, especially if you have no Arma da Voragem available.

Sede de Sangue / Heroísmo is the ultimate Xamã spell, providing a huge amount of Haste for a very long period. It applies to your whole raid once cast, but leaves a 10 minute debuff that prevents other Shamans from being able to apply their own lusts.

Arma de Fúria dos Ventos is the traditional Enhancement weapon imbue and causes your attacks to occasionally activate more attacks with added attack power. Having it on both weapons increases the odds of proccing but is generally not as strong as having Flametongue on the off-hand instead.

Arma de Labaredas is a temporary weapon imbue that grants extra Spell Damage. It is especially useful for Spellhance / AoE scenarios with Glifo de Arma com Labaredas, which will grant 4% Critical Strike if used on both weapons.

Rajada de Vento is a new ranged interrupt with a short range and cooldown, but its best characteristic is that it is not on the global cooldown, allowing you to instantly interrupt enemies at any time. It also does not share a cooldown with shock spells.

Bagata turns the targeted enemy into a frog, disabling its attack and spell casting for the duration. It will not break instantly upon taking damage like Polimorfia but taking significant damage will still break its effect, similar to Medo. It can be used instantly with Arma da Voragem which is very useful in PvP.

Chamado dos Elementos, Chamado dos Antepassados and Chamado dos Espíritos allow you to setup a full set of totems which you can drop with a single key press.

Revocação Totêmica is a new baseline spell which destroys all of your totems and refund part of their Mana cost. Use it to avoid pulling with totems and at the end of totem duration in order to get free Mana!

Escudo de Água grants extra Mp5 and returns Mana on direct hits to the Shaman. Great for leveling, soloing and Mana sustain!

Expurgar removes two beneficial effects from an enemy. This is great to remove Druid heals over time in PvP, or against Priests and their shields.

Curar Toxinas removes a poison or disease effect from the target, useful when Totem de Purificação is not an option.

Lobo Fantasma increases your movement speed by 40% while outdoors, which is very useful for rapid travel or kiting with Lobo Fantasma Aprimorado.

Visão Distante changes your view to the targeted location, which is useful when scouting a dangerous location, without actually placing you in danger, especially in PvP.

Andar sobre a Água allows its target to walk on water for 10 minutes. Even though damage cancels the effect, this is useful to quickly transverse aquatic locations.

Revocação Astral works as a second Hearthstone, with a short cooldown of 15 minutes. It does not share cooldown with it, but will teleport you to the same place you last bound your Hearthstone to.

Reencarnação allows you to self-resurrect with a small amount of Health and Mana. This is especially useful to prevent having to run back all the way to the dungeon/raid after a wipe.

Espírito Ancestral allows you to resurrect other people when outside combat.

Hello there Woah,

I have a Question, if I may? I am a fairly inexperienced Shaman, and am doing my due diligence, as far as researching the Class. Thank you for your very helpful, informative, and concise run down for the Shaman.
My Question is this; In your Rotation, you say to drop the Fire Elemental Totem first, on both Single Target, and AoE fights. Then, in Single, you have Magma Totem at #6, and at #3 for AoE. If you drop the Fire Elemental first, then you have to wait for it's 2 minute "life span" before being able to drop the Magma, yes? And, that's on both fights. So, are you saying to each in order, and not use the "Call of Elements", or which ever you use? I can see setting up the different types of Totem "Calls" to have the Fire Elemental in the first batch, then, when it expires, drop the second "Call" set up with Magma Totem as the Fire portion?
Sorry if my Question doesn't make sense, as I may not be familiar enough to even form a coherent Question. I'm trying... Lol

Many Thanks,

Walkerbough

You mention in your guide that you have to switch to double flametongue in early wrath, and wf/flametongue late wrath. Is TOC late wrath? I have most items for spellhance in TOC and wonder what is best at the current raid tier.

Edit: And if you have to choose a trinket to spellhance with from 10m, what would you choose?
