Fenissa the Assassin is stealthed and patrols around, and has a nasty tendency to sneak up on you when you're not ready :D

Fenissa has quite an amount of health points too, despite not being elite status.
Keep this in mind when you're out looking for her.
I would not advise taking on her with an extra mob or two.

She is also always in stealth unless she is fighting, so you really have to stay right in her path to find her.

Well worth the effort though. The chestpieces she always drop are really great for their level obtained.

I encountered Fenissa just as I was questing around the Cryo-Core -- I heard the "swooosh" sound of someone stealthed nearby and then she stabbed my pet. She wasn't too hard for me to take down (18 hunter) and dropped me a neat green leather chestpiece, though sadly not useable for me as it had +spell damage on it -- it would have been a nice find for a druid.

And yes, she seems to be hiding around in stealth, so as someone above stated, you won't find her unless you're walking in her path or very close to her.

For a "rare" spawn, she sure has a fast timer.

I was helping a friend with the escort quest on my 34 pally; she snuck up on us on the way up, and then we came across her again not ten minutes later on the way down.

The robes she dropped were sure nice, though!

Oddly enough, she seems to spawn 3 times and then disappears for a while. Maybe she's limited to 3 spawns per hour I dunno. I've been trying to farm her on my 70 hunter with Track Hidden. 2 hours ago, I killed her 3 times and then I didn't see her again. Came back just now, killed her 3 times and I can't find her anymore.

She spawns where the map says she does. The first time she spawned for me near the small camp outside the Vector Core, around 23,51 , there she dropped Silvermoon Robes of the Moon, which gives +2 Stam +2 Int +2 Spt . Second time she spawned at 39,57 and dropped Silvermoon Tunic of the Wild, which is pretty sweet for Rogues and Hunters.

Don't take the warnings about her unusually high HP for granted - even at 19 I had trouble with her, and had to use a health potion because she attacked so fast I couldn't heal myself soon enough.

That being said, this mob is a HUGE pain in the ass whenever you're doing quests near the Cryo-Core or the Vector Coil Blood Elf camps. She can (and does, frequently) pop up right on top of you, and there's no telling when she'll attack, as she's stealthed. She does high, quick damage, uses crippling poison to prevent your escape, and gouges to interrupt spellcasting. All in all a very challenging mob for her level, and the fact that she's stealthed makes her even more of a threat. I've died two or three times to her attacking me while I was engaged with another mob.

However, her drops are great. She always drops one of the chestpieces above (mail, cloth, or leather) with a random enchantment, and the enchantments are good. First time she dropped Silvermoon Robes of the Moon (+2int, +2sta, +2spi), second time she dropped Silvermoon Armor of the Sun (+3 spell damage/healing, +2sta, +2int).

Well worth it to kill her if you see her and can handle it, but don't be surprised if she starts owning you.

She got scared when she was low on health and went for a little run. I was quite worried, but none of the Sunhawk Reclaimers that she ran into seemed to want to help her out.

I went through a few very strong words because of this stupid blood elf. They've got her narrow Gouge-happy backside cruising around the side of the Core with the fewest baddies inside - the side I'd have prefered to approach the interior during the couple of quests I had for this area around level 15. Having an unexpected stealth rare pop up directly under your butt is a great way to turn an annoying harm-and-farm quest into a teeth grinding nuisance. Oh, and don't forget that unlike your average stealthy-mob, she can (and will) -run- while in stealth, and her aggro range is pretty huge.

Fenissa spawns fairly regularly for a rare, and always seems to drop one of the three "Silvermoon greens." As others have mentioned, she's quite tough for an 18 non-elite and has a nasty habit of pouncing on unsuspecting player characters. However, I've fought her on three characters (one a 16 warrior who, admittedly, did not survive their first encounter) and only experienced her infamous gouge once.

And yes—she will aggro, on up to a 22, from a ridiculously wide range. If you're around one of her haunts, you might want a target macro prepared with her name on it.

It should be additionally noted that she's no friendlier to the Horde than she is to the Alliance—my troll rogue had the opportunity to find that out firsthand.

Fenissa is an assassin attached to the Sunhawk armies sent by Prince Kael'Thas to finish off the fleeing draenei. Unlike the bold centurions or magical reclaimers, she prefers to lurk in the shadows and pounce on dranei survivors -- preferably ones already engaged with her less stealthy allies.

She usually wears armor made from her home in Silvermoon, which she hopes to return to once the dranei are defeated. Unfortunately, she does not know that Silvermoon has, unlike her, started to doubt the wisdom of following the last scion of the Sunstrider line...

Rare mob, huh? Well, funny, but i found out she can be up twice at the same time.
I saw her with my belf DK at the Vector Coil, patroling as usually. Let her live and went to Cryo Core (wanted to get the exploration-archievment) where i met her a second time. To proof my own eyes, i pulled her with Chains of Ice to the other one, where they both started attacking me.

SCREENSHOT OR IT DID NOT HAPPEN!

Oh, and they dropped different loot btw, the robes and the mail chest if anyone cares...

she's been sneaking up on me for the last 20 mins and rly starting to annoy me :) i've done maybe 5/6 Draenei chars before and have never seen her and all of a sudden i cant get rid of her lol i shall be so triumphant when i finally kill her, she always attacks on the back end of another blood elf so she kills me rly easy :(

I always seem to die to her at least once per character. Best solution I've found is after she surprises you, head back to the area you found her in CAREFULLY.

Clear out a small section that can be used to pull her back away from adds, then stand in her path patiently until you see her and aggro her. Back into your cleared area and take her out ^.^

I've even managed to kill her on an underleveled warrior that way.

I saw her the first time while doing Limits Of Physical Exhaustion. Strangely enough, she didn't attack me. I was busy fighting a Pyromancer and she just snuck past, well within aggro range. She was probably about 5 feet away from me. After finishing the pyro, I looked for her to kill her, but she disappeared.

I found her again while doing Ending Their World. Here she actually started to attack me (and not the NPC, luckily). Didn't have much trouble with her. A few minutes later, near the summit, I saw her for the third time. She also snuck past again without attacking.

Seems there is something strange with the AI with hidden mobs. Sometimes they don't attack at all, even when sneaking well within touching range. Other times they will attack you when you ride past them on a mount, even though you're not within aggro range. I have had similar experiences with the sneaking mobs in Duskwood. Looks like to me it's whether you are running around or just standing still.

Found her at the Cryo-Core.
i was training as a lvl 15 human pala there, so i had perception, wich made it easier to spot her.
was fighting one of the mages when i saw her walking by, then i just waited a few seconds in the hope that she was walking in a circle.

and BINGO, Silvermoon armor of the wild :)

I can't confirm it. But as far as i've noticed: whether you get loot or not from your kill with an NPC depends on which one has more aggro. I have always received the loot of a mob when the mob was attacking me as it dies, even if i had an NPC along beating the mob. Also met Fenissa today on a lvl 15 Shaman. walked at me when i was standing on the edge of The Gyro Core. used Gift of the Naaru and managed to defeat. Stoneskin Totem + Searing Totem and healed myself almost all the time.

Farming Fenissa for Silvermoon Robes of the Sun, found her patrolling lower half of Vector Coil, dropped Silvermoon Tunic of the Sun firstly, then Silvermoon Armor of the Wild, always the way >=l I'ma keep trying to get them, wish me luck -_-

I've killed her twice in a row today, doing an escort quest here. She dropped a robe and a mail, both "of the sun". She's not hard with that elite guy I was escorting, but she runs away when low on hp, and brings back some nasty elites.

Depending on your spec almost all of her drops are good for someone to use and if the item is not for your class or spec just AH it

So far i have picked up two mail, two cloth and one leather chest peice in like 20 mins

Someone I knew got the robe. Looking to make some money, I went out looking for her. At 40.33, 59.93, I checked on her spawn points. I saw I was right on top of her. As SOON as I opened the WoW window, I typed "/tar Fen". I targeted her. Literally within melee range. I sapped her, ambushed her, and killed her. Victory.

Then 2 more spawned, and I got killed. I ran back and looted the mail armor xD
It doesn't appear that she is that rare, but at a low level, make sure you clear around her.

From my experience the respawn time for her is 2 hours 40 minutes. I killed all of them at once, stayed there and waited for them to respawn. After killing her again I logged off and came back after 2 hours 40 minutes and managed to kill them all again myself even there were a couple of alliance people around questing.

Well, I killed her three times tonight. She's certainly gets around for someone so "Rare." We first encountered her at the Cryo-Core, and later, twice at the Vector Coil. Once while starting the End Their World quest, and once while exiting. She dropped Mail twice, and the Robes once.

We killed her over the course of about 4 hours, so the silver dragon is a bit misleading. She's just hard to spot, being stealthed. Odds are, she'll be trying to ambush you, rather than the other way around.

The first time I saw this rare enemy, it was at the Cryo-Core. (She can't stealth for beans, by the way, I don't think it's real Stealth, just a sort of camouflage.) I killed her with ease and got the Silvermoon Robes of the Moon. Later, I had a friend help me through Ending Their World, where I sighted her just at the beginning of the hill. Killed her and she yielded the Silvermoon Armor of the Wild. Went up a little to the first place Demolitionist Legoso bombs, and who should I see but Fenissa the Assassin, who dropped the Armor again! She spawned again in less than a minute? "Rare", indeed...

Seems almost like the equivalent of the Defias Messenger of Westfall as she travels to each Blood Elf spot. Killed her 3 times and got the 3 different nice chest pieces above each time.

these blood elfs work for Kael'thas Sunstrider! He's the kind of the Blood Elf's in Outland, he is a big enemy of the Horde and the Allaince, so, so are the blood elfs then.

If you picked up the armor to equip your lvl 13 check out the Blood Elf Bandit Mask, they go great together. If you do manage to grind the mask it isn't BOE so your toon can sell it for 20g+ when they out grow it.

Been farming this mob all night just for fun, and crap loot for my low levels. She seems to patrol the camps(or spawn in, I haven't seen her outside of them, to be honest). Five of the six times I killed her, she popped up at one of the camps without trouble. The other one, kill three or four, I couldn't find her for a good hour or so, despite meticulously clearing out the camp with detect hidden and a targeting macro, so the respawn timer seems to be a bit erratic. Good robe for the level, and looks absolutely fantastic.

I've seen her in cryo core, and in the camps lining the vector coil.

In my experience, it seems that she starts out (spawns) somewhere in the Vector Coil area (although I can't be specific about an actual spawn point), and travels on a FAIRLY direct path to the Cryo-Core. What she does/where she goes after that is anyone's guess, because the times that I've run into her there, I've either killed her for the drop, or, those times she's ambushed my lower-level chars, I've been killed, and hence unable to follow. ;)

EDIT: FWIW, if you're gonna camp her, better to do so near the "exit" from the Vector Coil area (if you can avoid getting killed by all the elites around there), because if you're waiting for her around the Cryo-Core, you have no way of knowing if someone else is killing her near the Vector Coil, so you could be waiting a LONG time to see her.

Holy moly. i had spent 1.5 hrs looking for this chick in both spawn points with nothin. i went to go farm a bandit mask (i got one in 1.5 hrs) and i come back to the vector whatever and she's stealthed right in front of me. i waited till she disapeared, then jumped off the cliff and landed on top of her again...

I've had it where I've killed her in Cryo-Core and then headed over to Vector Coil just in time to kill her again at the entrance.

Several posts above have suggested that Fenissa walks from the Vector Coil to the Cryo Coil. This is incorrect. She has three seperate spawnpoints and paths. She is a rather unusual 'rare' in that she spawns and coexists in ALL THREE points. I've checked it twice: following all three of the paths, finding her in one of them, leaving her 'alive', running to the other places, finding her there too, and only then killing her and running back to kill her other incarnations.

The paths are the following:
1: The vector coil top
On top of the vector coil are two pylons. Fenissa starts at one of those, then follows the path downhill, along the base of the coil where you have to place the charges to blow it up, then up the path on the far side to the second pylon. When she reaches it, she will retrace her steps, going back and forth.

2: The camps and the path at the bottom of the vector coil
At the bottom of the hill there are three camps with Sunhawk Pyromancers and Defenders, non-elite. The westernmost of these is the camp with the Sun Portal, where the Sunhawk fight Void Critters. Fenissa starts in this camp, not far from the path that leads up the hill of the Vector Coil. She does not go uphill to the Coil, but stays on the lower part of the path, walking towards the northeastern camp. This is also the point where Matis the Cruel tends to halt. She continues on to the middle of the northeastern camp. Then she stoops and retraces her path to the western camp, again walking back and forth.

3: The Cryo Core
This path is circular, unlike the other two. She follows a counterclockwise path just inside the hills that form the outer rim of the impact crater. Part of her route leads her a little further in, but she seldom nears the Cryo Core itself, except on the southernmost part where there is very little room between the core and the mountainside. Walk a clockwise path and you'll be sure to find her.

Use a macro "/target Fenissa" and spam it when on one of the tracks I described above. If she is close and you are of a high enough level to spot her despite her being stealthed - I used a lvl 48 druid - you'll be sure to find her.

She will drop the tunic, armor or robes. The tunic and armor come in 'of the wild' (+5 Attack, +2 AGI, +2 STA) or 'of the sun' (+2 INT, +2 STA, +3 damage and healing)
The robes come in 'of the sun', as above, or 'of the moon' (+2 INT, SPI and STA). The robes seemed to drop less often than the tunic and armor, which seem to have the same drop rate. She easily dropped twice as many tunics and armors as robes. Still, there is a good chance that each item has the same droprate as is suggested by the greater number of drops shown on this page. Also, the sun and wild variations dropped equally often. The moon robes dropped less often for me than the sun robes.

It takes at least an hour for her to respawn, maybe a bit more. Could even be two hours, not much more. I farmed her effectively. It may be that she will respawn only when all three incarnations have been killed, but when all three are killed (which I made sure of every time I looked for her) they will all respawn.

She has a 1 hr respawn timer. Also she can easily be found while questing. I think she shouldn't be counted as a rare mob.

Killed her 6 times today. Most of them were at Vecotr Coil.
2 Mails, 1 Robes, 3 Tunics she dropped.

Tonight I killed her 3 times within 10 minutes. Once at the Core, 2 times at the same place at the Vector Coil. Definitely a faster respawn time than an hour.

I just spent about 2 hours searching for her and could not find her... wanted the armor for my pally or possibly lock depending which drop i got... No biggie though i did get some good greens from the mobs on the hill!

Encountered her at the Cryo-Core on my lil lvl 15 priest, it was an epic battle imo :D had to take her 3 times before i beat her, she kept coming at me when i was drinking at 1/2 mana.

When I had my hunter, I saw her. Like everyone else, I was fighting the reclaimers and there she was... she caught me off guard and killed me, but when I rezzed, I found her again, tryin to sneak me, but my bear and I totally pwn'd her and I got the Silvermoon Tunic of the Wild also, then sent it to my main for DE. I got some Greater Astral Essence from it... nice :)

Shaman buddy and my warrior were grinding on the elites at the end of Blood Myst, and she sapped my shaman friend. If not for the timely intervention of a level 70 hunter, we would have been destroyed by her and the adds my paniced "run away!" strategy brought...

I've not seen a MOB sap outside of UBRS. Really surprised us.

Respawn seems to be between a half and one hour.
Just killed her twice in this time.

Dropped one Silvermoon Tunic of the Wild (Leather, 74 Armor, +5 AP, +2 Sta, +2 Dex) and a Silvermoon Armor of the Sun (Mail, +3 Spelldam (o.O), +2 Sta, +2 Int)

This Chick almost had me at Lvl 20

I was taking on 2 Reclaimers, no problems, and she snuck up behind me...

Luckily My bear held aggro on the 2 reclaimers and I Melee'd Her w/ 3 Health to spare... whew...

She dropped the "Armor of the Sun"

I went up on the Hill and Logged out, and went grinding on my Priest for an hour.

I came back to my hunter, and there she was... 20 yds in front of me!

I took her down, and got "Armor of the Wild" this time...

I went <AFK> to put some Hot-Pockets in the Microwave, and change a Load of Laundry, and when I got back, I started Grinding again (Farming Wool and Linen), and Lo-and-Behold there she was over by the Vector Coil.

This time, she dropped "Robes of the Sun"

So I killed her 3 times in less than 2 Hours...

Her "Rarity" is definately arguable...

I can't tell you what her exact Re-spawn is, but that should give you a Ball-park...

Killed her this morning at about 7am server time on Amun'Thul and she dropped the Silvermoon armor of the wild, 10mins later killed her again and she dropped Silvermoon Robes of the Sun. All was at the Vector Coil on the way to kill the demon there.

The lower the level the faster the respawn. The greater the level the longer the respawn.

she respawns quite quick and drops good stuff for the levels she was aimed for.

I can verify that she spawns 3 times in rapid succession, then does not spawn again for quite some time. She is almost guaranteed to drop at least one of the three Silvermoon chest armor items. I have gotten one robe and one mail suit, with only one kill being empty.

So there I was fighting with the last of about 3 reclaimers when she jumps my hunter and i got totally no mana...
EDIT: She got totaly unlucky when I found her again and totally pwned her...Dropped Silvermoon robes of the moon

Righto, she spawns three times in a row, with almost no time difference between each kill. In a matter of 5 to ten minutes, I killed her those three times, twice in the Vector Coil and once in the Cryo Core. There seems to be a break though between those three respawns. Didn't get the item I needed though, got the robe twice and the chain piece once.

I was out here with my 70 just checking the area out. I came across her twice in the span of 5 minutes. The first time she dropped a very nice robe for my Draenei priest and the second time a mail chest piece with spell damage on it.

She really is not that rare of a spawn from what I saw. The items she drops are very nice for a low level though.

just running my nelf priest here becuse i always found bloodmyst easy i had the limits of psychal exhaustion and i was just cruising killing the numbers (also having to solo matis once or twice because he kept pulling -.- good thing i was level 21 ;) ) and was just bout to leave then i heard the stealth sound so i checked everything and bam! she had sapped me :O (clever npc) so as soon as she hit me power shield mind blast starfire shadow word pain and.. she was dead easy fight dropped the robe ;) shame i had the robe of arugal so put on ah for 1g :-D

So I came across this chick when doing some quest in the Cyro Core. She jumped me (I was on my Shaman), but I had it under control.
She dropped the Robe.

I came found her again later when working on the Vector Coil quests.

Killed her, and got one of the mail chests.
-Then I came here to look her up, and found she had a Leather chest too. I wanted it more for the DEF.

So yesterday I ran around mult times looking for her on my 57 Hunter...and this is my info thus far:

-She pops 3 times pretty fast. All within/under 10min.

-I have killed her around 15+ times now. The order seems to be; Mid-level on the Vector Coil area (near the red water..that entire flat part).

Then after about 2min or less she pops on the lower-level on the Vector Coil. I've seen her pop where Matis the Cruel (or w/e his name is) shows up, and then ALL the way across near the Hut.

And then she shows up and the Cyro Core. She pops between the Building thing and the Mt. Ridge where 1-2 other BE are.

-I've never seen her pop, and then stalk around. She seems to spawn in stealth.

-There are 4 (maybe more) drops. The robe, and Leather, and then 2 mail. One mail is best for Paladins, while the other is better for warriors.

-Everyone once in awhile she will drop the Silvermoon gear AND something else. It has happened twice for me. Both times it was random green gear.

I don't however, know here respawn AFTER her 3rd kill. It seems to be over an hour, but not sure.
ALL my kills were in the above order. So If I found here somewhere else, I knew what "number" she was on.

And for me the Mail gear seemed to drop the most. I was only able to get the leather twice (one for my now 21 Shaman, and one for my 20 Druid- will keep for the look). And only 3 robes.

I gave away (for free) everything 'cept for 1 robe, and the 2 leathers.
