For those of you WITHOUT coordinate mods, use these instructions to find him:

1. Head to the gnome, Clopper Wizbang.
2. Head directly west, letting yourself run into the water.
3. Watch your map. Once you are north of the THIRD murloc hut shape on the map (The west-most one), stop moving west.
4. Start swimming north, beginning to dive down. You should shortly after see the dot on your minimap for the guy.

Oh, and if you do not have the potion, don't worry. There is a fissure right in front of him to allow you to breath.

As a note, the murlocs are under the water as well. I had this problem and died three times before I knew that one of them was casting on me.

When you make your way to Aqueous don't bother running away from the murlocs...They net & litter the area around the elementals.

The Water Elemental Aqueous is located at 32,16 off the Northern Coast of Bloodmyst Isle, in The Hidden Reef.

If not, it's north of the murloc beach. You'll see a giant sunk ship below you, swim northwest of it maybe 100 yards and look down for some friendly water elementals and one GIANT water elemental.

The water breathing drink isn't necessary...he's not that far down, and there's a bubbly fissure to give you air once you reach him.

There is a bubbling fissure permitting breathing underwater located right next to the elemental. seem you might not need to waste that potion the farseer gave you...

Go to the beginning of Blacksilt where the waterfall is. Swim straight out about 100 yards and turn a bit to the right..you will see the elementals. There are ruins down there before you come to the shipwreck. The large elemental you want is standing in front of one of the sunken buildings. BEWARE of those confarnded murlocs!

you don't need a potion, Aqueous 'is' an air supply. when u talk to him ur breath replenishes.

If you swim out to the Veiled Sea the coords are different and will lead you out to fatigue water.

Are you sure you aren't swimming around the shore of Azuremyst? Be ware it says Bloodmyst Isle mate, not azuremyst.. if that was the problem i hope u'll get to solve it :)

this is where everyone posted for the first part *lol~

if you head north from the murloc camps (north of bloodmyst isle), swim around till you uncover what's called The Hidden Reef & then you will see a yellow dot and that is where you go to get the second part of the quest chain

The potion trick is pretty neat.. even tho you get underwater breathing in 2 lvls i wouldnt be saving those pots.

hey im a alliance 27 shaman... and i seemed to lose this quest somehow and i dont no how to get it back? ive tried the sw shaman trainer ... but no luck some1 plz HHEEEELLLLLPPPP

first to answer the most recent post, go to Farseer Nobundu in The Exodar, he should give u the quest, second, the posted screenshot isnt right, they posted the spot for the quest after this one, so dont use it, thirdly, dont go straight south to get to the next quest spot, u have to east of Axxarian.

Okay, for some reason there's a bunch of the murlocs down there, right where the guy is you need to talk to! And, don't expect any help from him, or the other water elementals around him, they don't care if you get killed right in front of them. (yes, I got killed)

All these are old, the murlocks are level 16, very easy to kill as a 20 shaman. Also the screen shot someone has entered is easy to follow

I found him at the coordinates mentioned, best location description was
"in the reef just north east of the waterfall and directly north of the murloc camps" but I got attacked as soon as I tried to speak with him.

Also, I had to have the Spirit Healer restore me. The game wouldn't let me find my body because I died underwater.

Time: 1.5 hours @ lvl 20 (from Stormwind, using Ghost Wolf when able, no Astraanar FP).

1st: Aqueous. Bloodmyst 32, 16 (North of Bloodmyst Isle). Once at the coords, swim straight down, turn in quest and accept the new one. No water breathing potions are necessarry. The elementals will not aggro if you swim straight down to him. The murlocs may or may not attack, but it doesn't matter. I was attacked each time I had to swim to him. I ignored them, and by the time I reached the surface of the water, they were no longer pursuing. I usually had a third or more of air remaining upon reaching the water's surface.

2nd: Head to the pools. Bloodmyst 29, 40. Easiest to get there by heading Northwest and doubling back east towards the pools (as there are mountains and Axxarien in the way). 1 in 3 elementals dropped the quest item for me. After this, the quest needs to be turned in to Aqueous. The elemental will then request yet another errand.

3rd: The fountain. Ashenvale 31, 41 (South and slightly West of Astraanar). This little Isle is surrounded and inhabited by lvl 22 and 23 Creatures to be dealt with at the adventurer's discretion. Soloed this easily enough @ lvl 20. Note: Running through and away from these can be difficult as they cast roots. Once the fountain water is retrieved, once again it is time to return to Aqueous who will once again request another errand.

4th: Tel'athion's head. Bloodmyst 26, 40. Just north of the pools with the initial elementals, there is a small camp with some barrels. Right click the barrels and Tel'athion will appear along with two elementals. The elementals will help kill him. He's lvl 23 but not too tough @ lvl 20. Take his head back to Aqueous.

After all this, Aqueous will ask that you return to The Crystal Hall. There you will receive your new totem.

i feel like an idiot... here i am searcing azuremist isle @ the coords 32.16, when it is BLOODMYST isle.... i bet that is others problems, as well XD

Confirmed at 32,16. Out in the water a ways. There's a breathing vent right next to him so you don't even need to use the underwater breathing potion at this point. Save them for when you do need them...

Aqueous is actually in the reef just north east of the waterfall and directly north of the murloc camps. there are actually some murlocs around him but, if you directly down towards him you probably won't aggro any of them

All of these Totem quests seem to suck. Unfortunately these are not the kind of quests you you can just say "Screw it!" to. I hate this quest and I hated the fire quest.
