This item drops only when the raid kills The Lich King while a player in the raid is wielding Shadowmourne

Edit: Only the first kill will give this reward. (Only 1 reward per Shadowmourne)

This quest leads to 5 more quest, rewarding the following items:

* Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger - A brand new mount that looks like the Death Knight's class mount.
* Muradin's Favor - A 10-minute Frost Dwarf transformation.
* Jaina's Locket - A portal to Dalaran on a 1-hour cooldown, you finally have your own pocket mage!
* Tabard of the Lightbringer - A tabard with a very shiny on-use effect.
* Sylvanas' Music Box - A music box that plays Lament of the Highborne.

Curious on this, does this work with master looting option, or does the player who owns the shadowmourne loot it regardless of loot rules?

I've submitted a screenshot of a GM reply in-game of the following:

"The Sealed Chest item only drops as long as the person on the Shadowmourne quest line has 'The Lich King's Last Stand' in their quest log. Once they complete the quest, the Sealed Chest will no longer drop."

It's ONCE per Shadowmourne, NOT weekly. This will be a fairly rare item.

could you possibly get the quest completed, get the item and then drop the quest and redo it the next week?

But does that mean if you keep the quest it will continue dropping? Because I think for example ulduar hardmode sigils continued to drop even if someone with quest had the item. While maybe not totally similiar type I think it could work like this.

i think this is BS it shouldnt be a shadowmourne drop i mean melee have all the great legendaries and know they have a utterly epic axe and they get amazingly kool BoE toys they can sell or brag with, its utter crap,

Wowhead says only orcs, blood elves, human and gnome races can take the quests.
So for example a troll or night elf can't do these quests to obtain the mount?
