I'm pretty sure you only need to get Frenzied Bloodthirst while not actually needing to get Uncontrollable Frenzy. Hopefully this is the case, otherwise it's going to be really hard to do this without wiping a raid. The Blood Mirror part shouldn't be too hard.

So from what I am reading from the boss abilities and the description in the quest objective, this is my theory about how you get this done.

Strategy: You need to be targeted by Blood Mirror / Blood Mirror. The second requirement says you must get the Essence of the Blood Queen debuff and then follow through with it the full 60 seconds. Last part of this is to allow the debuff to run the full 1 minute and turn into Frenzied Bloodthirst. At this point you have about 9 seconds to use the bite ability (and you MUST use it to get this quest objective done) on a nearby player before you get charmed and start going ballistic on the entire raid. If you have survived all that, you then must kill the boss without wiping. If you wipe, you get to start this entire process over again.

Once the wing goes live I will confirm exactly what it takes, if this turns out ot be wrong. :)

pull : you go in with the MT, and the OT, OT goes in after you
when you get Blood Mirror you run away and let the OT get it since Shadow's Edge will cancel the Blood Mirror debuff and give you the gushing wound debuff instead

This is probably an incredibly noobish question, but, if you have the gushing wound debuff and end up having to bubble during let's say an air phase because you get low and don't want to take a chance at dying. Do you think that will clear the Gushing Wound buff from you?

goushing wound damage was like 300k
make sure you don't bubble and tell a priest to keep an eye on you with pw:s's
divine prot first air phase

Just to clarify, you do NOT currently get a buff (unlike shadow infusion during the Unholy Infusion quest) to indicate that you are good to kill Blood Queen. As soon as you bite the 3rd person and your 3-stack of Gushing Wound disappears, you can kill BQL and get credit.

Can anyone confirm how hard/easy and painful it is to get Blood Mirror? Do you just move in, get it, and move out, and it's off? Or do you need to use cd's and healer attention to survive for some amount of time?

hm... yesterday we have killed the queen. In time pull i had the Blood Mirror ~2-3sec. Further i have bitten three person but a quest to me have not included. Why?

I did this quest tonight - not difficult to do. Here's what I did:

1) Run in with your tank and get the blood mirror debuff. Have the tank use his shield wall ability while you get guardian spirit/pain suppression/etc. Use your own cooldowns on yourself too - I used icebound fortitude and had my bone shield up, so I didn't drop very low. You only need blood mirror for a second or two. Then back out and let the OT take blood mirror.

2) You now have gushing wound, a debuff that ticks for roughly 1500 damage every second. Make sure your healers know this.

3) If you aren't bitten first, make sure whoever is bites you first. Then you bite three more people during the fight. As you bite your first and second person, gushing wound increases to 3000 damage per second and then 4500 damage per second. When you bite the third person, the debuff is removed, but you are still on the quest and all is still good - you just have no indication of this.

4) Stay alive, kill Blood Queen, turn in quest.

If you are DPS, have a tank off-spec and have been lucky to pick up good tanking gear while raiding, you can be the off tank who soaks damage from blood mirror through the whole fight. That's what I did and it worked out fine. The healers managed to keep me and the others alive pretty good.

Since you will only be off tanking the boss, you won't need need any avoidance at all. You only need as much stamina as possible. So just equip, gem and enchant as much stamina as possible. Any damage reduction talents and abilities are recommended.

I've been told that all you need to do is get the blood mirror debuff, and that you don't actually need to take any damage from it.

My guild's GM did this tonight but the quests didn't complete. He got Blood Mirror at the beginning, and bit 3 people, confirming that his Gushing Wounds stacked to 3, then we killed BQ. Anyone know what would cause him not to get credit?

Edit: He said he found something in the forums about Shield Wall bugging it. Anyone know anything?

I did Bloodqueen HM yesterday. Cause there's the 10% Buff now, we tried to complete the quest on HM, but it failed.
Is it necessary to equip Shadow's Edge while under the effect of Blood Mirror? So respectively this would be the problem? Or is it the Hardmode? I heard of some guildes which had problemes to finish that quest on HM too. I'm searching for a procedure of solution.

Can anyone confirm if a warrior can equip slot macro a shield and shield wall during an air phase to survive all the extra damage + gushing wound or would it require SE to be equipped for the full duration of the fight to get credit?

You can always call out to the entire raid to slow down dps until you get all bites done.

I was able to get the debuff "Gushing Wounds" to show up using Power Auras.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to check for sure this week if it stacks with the bites.

If I get the chance this week I will find out if it stacks along with bites.

Edit: It did stack but it also appears that it now shows as a debuff compared to hearing that it did not previously.

I just attempted this tonight. Everything was going perfect until I got Pact of the Darkfallen just before the last bite. I was taking too much damage from the Pact and the Gushing Wound and died. Make sure you use some defensive cooldowns if you get the Pact or Shadows when you have 3 stacks of the Wound. I had my disc priest friend Pain Sup me during the 2nd air phase. First air phase I barely dropped. I'd also suggest having Bryntroll (if you have it) equiped to help with the healing.

I had to ask others that have done the quest about this, because I didn't see it here: The Essence bonus damage increase of 100% remains with you, but the gushing wound debuff stacks to 30% decrease in damage at the second bite. So it's only a total of 70% damage increase. You will still heal yourself as normal though.

You only need to have blood mirror for an instant, and must be bitten first or second. Using Deathwish right when the fight started (even before getting the blood mirror) ensured that I was the first to be bit.

Now to give it a second shot...

Yeah.... ^ Don't u have to the the Shadows Edge equipped when doing this? like the other ones... could be wrong... but i dont think using Arbiter will "help" lol
