I placed the banner by the fire pit just north of where you get the quest. Once you drop it, 3 mobs come 1 at a time, just kill them as they come and you'll be fine. I didn't even aggro any extra mobs while doing the quest.

I did the quest a 64,40 by a camp fire but I believe you can do it anywhere in the town. Dropping the banner causes 3 mobs to spawn as already stated, each has about 8K health. No special abilities, just standard melee mobs.

I dont know about others, but when i dropped my flag no mobs came. It was a good minute before it was declared complete. so my guess would be that it was just a bug. One of my buddies did the quest next to me and he got three at a time so be prepared.

Is this quest in a horde town or something because there's like 15 of em just camping the damn firepit. Not doin anything, just sitting there kill the npcs as they spawn and alliance as they ride up to do the quest.

Or, more likely, one mob comes, then another, and then about 20 horde come and gank the banner and then you. :)

If you have any trouble finding where to place the flag it should be at approximatly 65,40, near the big fire. That is the centre of Baleheim.

Biggest pile of pants this quest I went in there quite stealthy and 3 mobs came at one my banner went and I replanted my banner and ended up with 6 mobbs at once! This quest sucks unless you have a good DPS I really wouldn't bother doing it on your own!

3 normal enemies with roughly 8,500 HP each. Very easy to complete -- I even accidentally pulled two additional enemies by not paying attention to my focus (tabbing) and still made it out with half HP and no serious injuries. Level 69 Elemental Shaman.

I got credit for the quest while killing the fourth guy to run up. You can end up fighting more than one guy at once if you don't time it well.

Four solo level 68-69 mobs come up and attack the banner, very easy to kill but as stated if you don't finish one in time a second will run up and start hitting the banner (or you).

I only had to take down 3 attackers. Not sure why but only three attacked before it said complete.

[I'm not about to put the fate of this mission into the hands of some untested scrub.

Now, if you want to prove to me that you've got what it takes to carry out this mission, you'll need to do what I tell you.

Take this battle standard and head over to Baleheim, directly north of here. Once you're at Baleheim, find the center of town and drop our flag. Fight off any vrykul dirt bags that attempt to take down our beloved flag and return to me once you've established Alliance dominance!]
