Crystalsong Carrots are pretty small, but easy to find due to sparkles. Teleport down from Dalaran and head east to the river. Walk along the river and you'll see the little tops of carrots (see screen shot) sticking out of the ground near the base of trees. Loot four, easy.

Chilled meat comes from most Northrend beasts. Make sure you find a cooking fire to complete this quest.

If you are a herbalist, these will show up on the minimap with Find Herbs. The daily is doable leveling from 70-80, and the mobs on the northeastern side of the river (immediately after you teleport down) are neutral, but be mindful of the ~lvl 77-78 hostile wolves roaming around.

They're located under Dalaran on the east side of the river.

I've found that they spawn most frequently north of the river and along the road close to the small clusters of trees. If you're having trouble finding the carrots while running around, I suggest slowing down and looking for the "glitter" rather then the carrots themselves (which is much easier to see if you're stopped!).

Looking at the map, you'll find them directly under Dalaran. The sparkles are a huge help finding them, as aznthecapn mentioned.

If you can't find them, keep looking, they are there! Once you see them, they're very hard to miss.

Probably one of the harder ingredients to get for the daily cooking quest as the mobs below Dalaran are level 78 so if you are only level 70 be a bit careful. The mobs are fairly thinly spread out so it is possible to avoid them..
I found the best place for these is to go across the river and head right. There are some ruins nearby with lots of carrots around it and not many mobs.

To find the Crystalsong Carrot(s) they are under Dalaran, at 30.4, 38.3.

If you are a Herbalist you can activate Find Herbs. And you will see the Crystalsong Carrot(s) on your Minimap.

I noticed in the Iconic picture of these that there was a "20" listed in the bottom right corner, this would seem to indicate that these stack in lots of 20. How can this be if you can only collect the 4 you need for the daily? It would be nice if you could gather these. I have farmed Rhino meat and Chilled Meat so on the days of the Ledgerman Convention, Meatloaf or the Mustard Dogs, all I have to do is collect the items from Dalaran & I'm through!

It should also be noted that you cant loot these if they aren't the daily. So if you get the quest make sure you at least grab these even if you don't have much time.

Very easy to get. If you follow the river, and find 1. You will easily find another one close to it. And another close to that one, and so on.

I just did this quest for the first time and, as an herbalist, was super confused when I saw the yellow herb markers on my mini-map all over Dalaran. It looks like (at least right now) the markers for these carrots will show up in Dalaran from the ground below the city and you'll have to take the teleporter down to get to them.

These can be found under Dalaran near the river in Crystalsong

1: Go to around 29,40 Crystalsong. (Directly under Dalaran)
2: If you're a herbalist you can track these.
3: They appear as two long orange carrots with grass on the top.

On the minimap you will see a small stoned pavement (shrine) with pillars and Unbound Seers.
This is located directly under Dalaran.
On the worldmap: Crystalsong Forest
You will see a cloud under the dalaran city picture in the shape of a piggytail.

I didn't see any until I crossed the river, SE of the teleport to Dalaran; then there were plenty.

Directly below Dalaran in the Forlon Woods, around where the Satyrs are.

According to Crystalsong Carrot , these ONLY SPAWN DIRECTLY BELOW Dalaran. Do not waste your time running up and down the length of the river.
