Well that really sucks, i wanted to see a 3d RS attempt, couldnt be any harder than when people were doing 3d OS pre-Ulduar. Hopefully they will change it around, but who knows with Cataclysm right around the corner.

Let me explain:

Do you remember back when people started pugging OS at the begining of WotLK?
What was the main problem? You sometimes find yourself into a pug that could kill the drakes but couldn't kill the main boss, then you where saved for it all week without the chance of getting any loots except 3 badges :(

For the same reason today we can kill the new VoA frost boss first so that if we get a group of f---tards we are not saved with them, I think they should allow us to go kill Halion first. They also said that they didn't plan to make the fight like Sarth with +1/+2/+3 drakes so i think they might actually allow us to do it.

I know, I know it's not really the usual way of doing things (going for the last boss before the small ones) but who care about that anyway, we playing to have fun and there's no fun getting saved with a bunch of f---tards who didn't bother learning how to play.

to me at least it looks like each boss will have an aspect. sorry if someone has already stated this in previous posts, i don't feel like reading all 90 comments lol. but there shall be a boss that is like a tree ent. another that is a rock elemental kind of like in Nagrand at the thrown of elements. and the last a water elemental such as in violet hold. don't take this info to heart cause this is just how i am perceiving the zone layout. but just food for thought.

1st of all, the loot here will be comparable to the one from ICC.
Right now we know about trinkets that gonna drop there here is a short preview:
Melee DPS Trinket: When you deal damage you have a chance to gain 1304 attack power for 15 sec. (Piercing Twilight)
Caster DPS Trinket: Your damaging spells have a chance to grant 763 spell power for 15 sec. (Twilight Flames)
Tank Trinket: Melee attacks which reduce you below 35% health cause you to gain 4401 health for 10 sec. Cannot occur more than once every 30 sec. (Scaly Fortitude)
Healer Trinket: Each time your direct healing spells heal a target you cause the target of your heal to heal themselves and friends within 10 yards for 356 each sec for 6 sec. (Twilight Renewal)

Those are all 25 man trinkets, other loot remains secret

Supposedly RS loot was to be on the same tier as ICC (251/264/277) however, according to what has dropped and what spells are in the game files, it will be itemized 1/2 a tier higher than ICC (258/271/284)

It's just Obsidian Sanctum with different dragons and different bosses.

Obviously you haven't read up on what blizzard has said, its not "Just another Obsidian Sanctum" From what i have seen so far its more inclined to a Preemptive Strike, Like "In WW2 when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and the Six Day War where Israel attacked Jordan, Egypt, and Syria." At east in story terms. :P
Yes the layout is similar to OS, Yes 3 mini bosses and one big boss, Yes their dragons, but it isn't their Sanctum.

I am so disappointed to see there are no weapons or shields available among the new gear. Especially shields...healers and tanks are the backbone of a good raid and shields have been hard to come by.

For those of you who are wondering why you can't get in to Ruby Sanctum, read the Blue below.

"Due to the fact that we will be delaying the release of patch 3.3.5 in Europe, Korea and Taiwan in order to ensure the patch process in all regions is as smooth as possible, the Ruby Sanctum will not immediately be available on North American realms upon the release of the patch. Once patch 3.3.5 has been released in North America and we are confident about a time when we can open up Ruby Sanctum, we will provide an update here on the forums."

Also just from reading the books. Deathwing aka Neltharion, the Earth-Warder had possession of the Dragon Soul, and was being driven mad by The Old Gods and was trying to pretty much kill everything with it, the Dragon Soul became known as the Demon Soul and corrupted Neltharion and he became Deathwing. Malfurion Stormrage along with the help of Korialstrasz captured the Demon Soul. Illidan, Malfurions brother, who was already being corrupted by the Sargeras had captured Malfurion and the Soul and attempted to use the soul to bring Sargeras into the world. Everyone ended up fighting over the Demon Soul and it was Stormrage who was victorious and the four remaining Aspects banished the Demon Soul.

Twilight dragons are mutants, they are the result of experimentation done by the Black dragons (Neltharion/Nefarian/Sinestra)

actually, twilight dragons are not mutants, the mutants you refere to are called "Chromatic Dragons" or "The Chromatic Flight" and they are an experiment done by Nefarian and some others, you can experience them in BWL.
the goal of the experiment was to take all the resistance properties of all dragons and put them in 1 dragon, basicly making him extremly resistant to all kind of damage and very very dificult to kill.
green drakes are resistant to nature damage, blue dragons to frost, red to fire and so on, and Nefarian tried to make the ultimate dragon, and it sort of worked, in BWL you encounted mobbs that have resistance to ALL damage types BUT one, he is "hyper allergic" to that one damage type and takes alot of damage from it, as for Chromaggus, his resistances changes all the time so he is not a successfull experiment either, but i dare to say he is MORE successfull then the others.

Ruby Sanctum is now playable for all realms on June 29 (Europe finally got the patch). This is very similar to Obsidian Sanctum but the fight will NOT be changed if you leave the 3 drakes up. But, you may want to take them out as they give some tastay Frost Emblems. =D

Now just have to wait for maintenance to be over : /

On the normal servers, NOT PTR SERVERS, this raid has a 5.8k GS MIN -base- it is not easy, my friends have been whispering me in-game saying that the lvl 82 elite trash is hitting 10k on their tanks.
