once you have the earth totem speak with "any" shaman trainer in the Exodar to begin your fire quest.

Having just completed this quest at the correct level of 11, I can say that the exp given is now 220, not 230.

I did all the quests and talked to Farseer Nobundo, but never got my fire totem.. what should I do?

For some reason I was able to learn "Fire Nova Totem" but I can't use it since I don't have the totem...

After much frustration and angst and online reasearch, I *still* couldn't find that stinkin' fire totem.

I see that I'm not the only one to have that problem either :-/

In my case, it seems that I either never picked up the quest from Temper in
Emberglade, or I inadvertently cleared it from my quest log at some point.

So my advice for anyone else having trouble with that pesky fire totem would be to go back to the very first leg of the Call of Fire quest and talk to each quest giver along the way until you find the dropped/missed portion of the quest chain.

Beware.

Transferring servers or changing factions can reset these quests. (I did both so not sure which. Probably factions.)

All these quests are available to me, yet I already have the totems and spells available.

well got a 13lvl draenei shaman..... in exodar and still cant get this quest.... just got the spell but i cant use it because i don't have the totem....

Im in level 22 and didnt complete the fire totem quest. How can i take the quest, so i can get fire totem? please ansewer..

I completed the Call of Fire quest, but did not get the Fire Totem. If this happened to you too. Here is probably what happened. He (Temper) is orangish-yellow so you may not have noticed exclamation above his name after completing, plus he has a lot of dialogue. Go back to Emberglade and talk to him.

If you cant get the quest from Either of the NPC's mentioned in the other threads, it is probably because you started it and then left off part way through. Head to Temper (the Fire Elemental) he is in the Northeast part of Azurmyst (the Emberglades) he probably has the rest of the quest line for you to resume.

To find this guy need to go to the Crystal Hall in The Exodar. You will see a moth trainer selling eggs. Where the yelow dot appears to be pointing. Face the moth trainer and walk through her and to your right. Initially it looks like a solid wall but in fact it is a slope that goes up another level. You will then find the Farseer. Hope all OK!

ok i'm really confused...i did the quest for my fire totem, but for some reason i never recieved the totem. I have my Fire Nova Totem but i am unable to use it without my fire totem. Can someone please tell me where i went wrong...Level 16 Draenei Shaman.

I went through the same situation. The way I got the totem was i went back to the the fire elemental TEMPER:

Talk to TEMPER (70 Elite) again 58, 19
Accepted the quest "CALL TO FIRE"
Complete the "CALL TO FIRE" accepted quest: Deliver ashes to Tuluun in Azure Watch 48,50
Tuluun will give you tne next part, which is speak to Prophet Velen at the Vault of Lights in Exodar @ 32.9, 54.2
He gives you quest to speak with Farseer Nobundo located at the Crystal Hall also in Exodar 31.2, 28.1

You should have your fire totem. I didn't realize i hadn't completed or accepted the next series of quests. Good luck to those of you who made my mistake. And to those of you who can do no wrong, get over yourselves it's a game!

I too have had the same problems all of you had. If you see the Moth Dealer, walk behind her (you will also see a Furbog Shammy trainer in the same area) The Ramp to go UP to this guy is behind the moth dealer and across from the Furbog trainer. You will see 2 torches with blue fire and what looks like a wall, its a STEEP ramp...the ramp starts at or near 27,29....go up to find the guy.

Can someone help me because after i gave the ashes and torch back to the lvl 70 guy it didnt give me a quest or the totem pole.

Apparently by the other comments there is 2 Call of Fire quests One is in Horde territory and the end of that quest is rather obscured. Yop must refind the hidden path which is near the Bridge that crosses into the Barrens( East and a bit South of the crossroads if I remember correctly).
The hidden path is near the place where the River and the Mountains come together there's a small upright gray to black stone then follow the obscure path and talk again to the NPC toon. He drops an item into your pack that allows you to see spirits> walk past him and to the Large upright totem rock then click on the see spirits item and be rdy to battle at the top of the Mountain. Kill the Fire Spirit and click fast on the brazer then check and see if you have the Enchanted Torch.
If you do run away from the Fire Spirit and follow the trail back down Do not Jump)and then go to the bridge into the Barrens and follow the road bearing left and go to the top of the hill and look off to the right some for a Farm House(same farm house you were at before). That's where you find the Fire totem & Skill to use it.

The Quest does not start at the Shaman trainer in Exodar, It starts at Azure watch.

Okay really simple
IF you were like me and was kinda hasty didn't wait after your handed over the ashes, then you MUST GO BACK TO EMBERGLADES. Talk to temper (in my case he didn't even have any exclamation mark over his head) accept the quest that will send you back to azure, go speak to the shaman in azure who will then send you to exodar. Head to the vault of lights and just read the mini map to find the prophet. Prophet then sends you to go see Farseer Nobundo. Head to the Crystal Hall, you will find him behind the shaman trainer with the glass bridge, go behind the entire structure and go up the flights of stairs and the steep ramp off to the left. follow the minimap for the rest of the way. TADA! you got it!

OK, I don't know what happened.

I did all the quests up to turning in the dust to Temper. I didn't pay attention and instead of teleporting to Temper, I just ran back to him.

I turned in the quest and get the next chain - exact same name Call of Fire.

Again, I wasn't paying attention and for some odd reason I thought the teleport thing was what I had to use/turn in so I clicked on it. It brought me all the way back to Temper of course.

I thought I had broke the quest chain so I abandoned the quest thinking it would be easier to just start the chain over. Uh...no...now I can't pick up any piece of it from any NPC in the entire chain.

Any ideas? GM isn't giving me much help on this one other than "we are aware of the problem and are working to fix it".

Well this isn't like any other bugged quest, this is an important part of the shaman upbringing.

After I returned the ashes the Tuluun, he sent me to Exodar, but to speak to Prophet Velen, not Farseer Nobundo. SO I think this quest is mis labled as the next quest from the previous quests. I wish they would not name chained quest the same thing.

I had a lot of trouble finding out how to get to the 2nd story. When you get in the area you will see Sixx which is the lady selling moths. There is a rug to the left of her as you are facing her. To the left of the rug a short distance is this ramp that you swear looks just like another wall. But it is a ramp and it will take you to the 2nd floor. Otherwise if you don't go upstairs you will see the yellow dot indicator on your map but on your screen all you see is the empty rug next to Moth Lady. LOL

When I searched the name "call of fire" there was something missing on the results page towards the end of the chain...so I'll tell those of you that are having the same problem that I had...

Although Temper told me that Tuluun would make my totem, when I got to Tuluun he told me that would have to wait because the prophet Velen had asked about me and I needed to hurry to him in the Exodar. This is the leg of the quest chain that did not show when I searched Alla. (unfortunate as wandering about a city looking for a quest target is something I truly dislike) Velen is in the Vault of lights. Then comes this leg...to find Nobundo who is in The Crystal Hall.

31,27 is the right coordinates, but just FYI he's on the second story of the building. You go to the shaman trainer and there's a path up to him.

Go real close to temper. If you have full graphics on it appears to hide the ! behind the fire :)
