This chain quest wouldn't continue for me after I brought the ashes to emberglade for some reason maybe a bug. But I might have to talk to a gm.

Nvm I went back to emberblade and saw the exclamation mark on top npc is too big so easy to miss.

"Temper" is a large NPC.. and if you are like me.. you might have thought that you finished this quest and left the area without picking up further chain in the quest.

If play "zoomed in" you won't see the Exclamation Mark on top of him.

Checking the Minimap will also show you available quests.

Quick note, quest bugged on me. For some reason, it didn't give me the ashes of Hauteur. Though it's not terribly far, I had to abandon quest and walk all the way down there to pick up the ashes.
Make sure you have them before you start your journey towards Azure Watch!

The cords of 11, 82 are correct. you go there and you will see a wickerman. Used the torch that Temper gave you...(it's in a bag)and that summons him. Kill him and then use the portal to get back to temper which are the 2nd pair of cords. 59, 17. My suggestion if you havn't done the missing fisherman quest do it now and then port back. It will save you some walking.

Aight, first u go to Temper and talk to him. Then he wants u to get the torch back from the cave to the west ( the torch will drop from any mob in there ) when u got the torch then head back. Now u get a bag with the torch and an orb in it, head to 11.82 and burn the wickerman. when u burned him then Hauteur will try to kill you, kill him get his ashes and then use the orb that u get from Temper ( the orb is in the bag ) to teleport back to Temper. Now you gotta go back to Azure Watch and talk to the shaman trainer there who will tell you to go to The Exodar and find Prophet Velen, gratz you now only have the last step left. go to the shaman trainer in The Exodar and you have completed this quest =)

For anyone who doesnt know how to get the quest at first you get it from Sulaa the shaman trainer inside the exodar. she is at 33,25. Shes where the chain actually starts. :D

This is how it goes :

1.
Go to Shamman trainer in Exodar(Azure Mist Island,Draenei Island) U get the quest called Call of Fire of him,By the way her name is Sulla.

2.Go to Azure Watch(In Azure Mist) Speak to Tuluun(Shaman Trainer).He will give u the follow up.

3.Go to Ember Glade (59,18).Then talk to TemperHes a huge Elemental 70 Elite.
He will give u the follow up.

4.Ok now u need the Ritual Torch.Go to Still Pine Hold and kill Crazed Wildkins kill them untill u get the torch.For me it took 17 and i got few copper too.After u Obtained Ritual Torch go back to Tempet.

5.Now u have the follow up =),now u have to get Hauteur's Ashes go to "11,82" Use the Ritual Torch next to the Scare Crow. You will summon Fire Elementals kill them pick up the loot and use the Orb of Returning witch is located in Fireproof Satchel in ur backpack its red open it and there it is.Use it and u will Return to Temper.
When u get back to him return the quest.

6.Now u have Hauteur's Ashes go back to Azure Watch at (49,50) and hand it in at Tuluun(Shaman Trainer).

7.Now u have the follow up go to Prophet Velen he is in Exodar (33,54).

8.Now go to Farseer Nobundo who is in Exodar (32,54)

Now u have The Fire Totem

is there a way to get this quest till i just never did it or even got it and now im 21 doin the water totem quest so i though i could just get it after i finish the water totem quest but it didn't let me anyone know if i can still get it?

The quest does not begin with Sulaa in Exodar. I checked with all the shaman trainers there and the one located in Stormwind as well. The only one that would give it to me was Tuluun at Azure Watch.

Also, after you click "Complete Quest" when turning in the ashes to Temper, be sure to click on him again to take the next part of the quest. It doesn't automatically pop up as it does on most of the NPC's when they have additional quests available to you. I didn't realize this until I ran all the way back to Azure Watch and Exodar.

This quest did begin with Sulaa in Exodar for me. It's fair to say it could begin at either trainer, depending on your level and what trainer you happen to be standing in front of at the time.

I have a question. I've started this quest, of course. When I obtained the ashes, I went back to the big fire guy as I can't remember his name at the moment. He rebirthed the guy so I went back to Azure watch. Was I supposed to get something from that fire spirit before I went because it's just a normal training thing for me, no quest or anything.

I fought Hauteur, got the ashes, RAN back to Temper, did quest turn-in, and no ashes for Tuluun were returned to me. I thought about it and figured, what the heck and clicked on the Orb Temper had originally given me to return immediately to him. Presto! I was then looking at Temper with an exclamation point over his head! I proceeded from there with no further problems.

There's a gold arrow that points to it on the minimap when you get close. Under the "I" in the Isle of Silvermyst Isle for people who don't have coords.

I cannot get Temper to give me Hauteur's ashes to give back to Tuluun to get the fire totem. I've spoken with 3 GMs, one of whom 'hung-up' on me abruptly ending the conversation when he insisted the quest was working. Obviously, it isn't for me. I've done an interface reset. I've also heard there are problems with this quest. I'm at level 20 and I don't want to delete my character and start all over again. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any thoughts?

The info about exp is REALY wrong .. i got 1050exp at lvl 13 (dinged 14 when finishing it)

So, exp gain is 1050 for the quest

When I searched the name "call of fire" there was something missing on the results page towards the end of the chain...so I'll tell those of you that are having the same problem that I had...

Although Temper told me that Tuluun would make my totem, when I got to Tuluun he told me that would have to wait because the prophet Velen had asked about me and I needed to hurry to him in the Exodar. This is the leg of the quest chain that did not show when I searched Alla. (unfortunate as wandering about a city looking for a quest target is something I truly dislike) Velen is in the Vault of lights. Then he sends you to someone else, Nobundo. That leg is listed, but I'll tell you anyway: Nobundo is in The Crystal Hall.

Temper is in Emberglade at 59.18.....those Coords are correct ...Everyone else thinks it's funny to run people around the islands ...well it's not funny at all ...try and respect this site ...its the best place for Information.

This quest is the worst...AND it's mandatory...

What dev thought that running an hour doing this would feel rewarding or fun in any way ? At least some classic wow quests made you travel but were interesting, here i feel like a postman hating himself
