This is easy...if you have gathered sprouts for the repeating quest you should do it in no time flat....just sit and watch the lil buggers go!...the horde guy gets irritated by the li'l suckers and its good for a short snicker....

The repeatable quest is a big waste of time imo.....I got a package that contained two different food items, 1 major healing potion, and 1 moonberry juice. If anyone else gets anything good off of it plz let me know....waste of time even when gathering while questing.....

i just got 4550 exp for this turn in (at lvl 59). and it's no longer repeatable (if it was before).

This quest makes no sense. As a reward I got a Bloodpetal Zapper, which does kill bloodpetal pests - but they don't appear anywhere outside of Marshal's Refuge. Forget this whole chain, between the ridiculous drop rate on the various bloodpetal collections and the nonsensical trip to Sunken Temple for the zapper fuel, this entire series is a real dog.

I just dont get why is one guy horde and one ally? why cant u choose a side like Scryers and Aldor? And more interesting, why does it have to be a dwarf that is marked as Horde? Why not Orc or troll?

easy quest, not bad for 5700xp at lvl 57. The quest cannot be accepted and completed until you have bloodpetal sprouts with you.

Why this quest is not listed by the Blizzard API/wowhead profiler? Is it a one-shot turn-in? (ie never goes into your quest log)

The quest is an extremely easy 4k XP. You can pre-loot all the Bloodpetals. They spawn inside small (mouseover) Bloodpetal bushes throughout Un'Goro Crater. If you don't have any, just mount up and go searching around the NE quadrant of the zone. They look like herbs, but they're actually containers. No herbalism is required to loot these.

For those that posted above, the point of this quest is an easter egg joke. Muigin and Larion are (switch the first letters, remove the N) Mario and Luigi. The two of them are in conflict with one another (hence Mario being horde, Luigi being alliance). When you turn in the 3 bloodpetals, Luigi plants them, they hatch into sprouts, and attack Mario (to Luigi's glee).

This, like the Linken quest line (which is, obviously, Link from Zelda -- Hence the "temper my sword" "throw it in the lake" and "push the grave stone" tasks)are just funny spoofs on the dev's beloved Nintendo characters. Linken's quest ends with a boomerang trinket. Funny stuff!

Also, Chasing A-Me (quest to retrieve a gorilla) is a spoof on Chasing Amy (the movie) and Amy (the sign language gorilla from Congo).

not to mention i also think the area in un 'goro which is called fungal rock is a reference to the old 90's show Fraggle Rock.

Another 80's reference...

You will see two characters at Marshal's Refuge called Williden Marshal and Hol'anyee Marshal which is a reference to Marshal, Will and Holly the main characters from the old TV show Land of the Lost.

I got this recipe on my first try was in a party about to go to st and i saw i needed only 5 more bloodsprouts and i was like let me get them real quick and i got food and i got a green recipe and was like gay but then i saw on my auctioner that it was worth alot and i was like not gay

If your reading this posting then you probably know blood petal sprouts are a quest item. And, if your have a toon large enough to be wandering Un'goro Crater for the first time, you should know enough to have already collected a number of sprouts before you accept their corresponding quest, aquired at Marshals Refuge. On that note, you better be gathering power crystals as well.

However, if you are planning to do the quests in this area and have not began collecting these items I suggest you get busy. Though you'd have to be blind to miss the crystals, the sprouts seem easier to stumble upon than they are to find. I managed 10 before I ever reached MR without even looking (you need 15). Of course, once I accepted the quest and went back for the other 5 it wasn't nearly as quick. As of 5.22.09 the sprouts do not glimmer, and you cannot accept the quest without having first attained them. In other words, just look for the green sprouts. They'll be their amongst all the other green crap. And if your eyes are like mine looking for all 15 at once will definitely give you a headache.

BTW, the crystals you will need are:

7 blue
7 Red
7 yellow
7 green

The crystals go to the gnome inside the cave at MR, and the sprouts are for the blue dino out front.

The Kodos are Mario and Luigi. Gotta love the 8-bit deliciousness of Un'Goro.

There's also supposed a rare alchemy recipe that only drops off this guy.

For some reason, after completing Haze of Evil, I was not able to take this quest (accept button was grey). Some bug probably?

After finishing Haze of Evil, I went out to get the bloodpetal sprouts, only to come back and find that Muigin won't even say hello, much less give me the quest. Not sure what the problem is and it's not a major deal, but just kind of odd.
