At this point they are making it a little TOO easy in my opinion. We all know Flame Leviathan is very doable with 4-6 people depending on gear and difficulty (10 or 25 1-4 Towers up) I have this on farm weekly for Mechano-hog parts and money from the BoE's that drop. This is just making it even more desirable to get it done weekly =)

Wouldn't it be cool if you failed at this and Flame Leviathan actually got out and ran havoc in some random place in the game. Now that would be fun to go kill as a raid without tanks.

I don't like having to ask this, but it can't really be given by the Kobold Laborer in Elwynn Forest. Is there a specific questgiver in Dalaran or some such and if so, where?

Although an intense kobold questgiver would be awesome, that is completely incorrect.

Archmage Lan'dalock in Dalaran (just outside VH - same guy who gives you the heroic dailies) starts the quests :)

This is literally the easiest weekly you will ever complete.

Grab 9 people. ANY 9 people. Point them in the general direction of Ulduar. Drive tanks and stuff. Meet Flame Leviathan. Watch as he spontaneously explodes and dispenses loot.

For all the new 80's who are doing this quest, it's simple:

1) Find a group for the quest.

2) Get summoned and enter the instance.

3) Get into any vehicle, but if you're not 21k+ health, don't become the driver, become the passenger.
(Until you've done it a few times, don't become the driver.)
4) As a passenger, shoot rockets at the "bad guys" until they die.

5) When you reach Flame Leviathan, there are five things you can do, depending on the vehicle you are in.

Siege Engine Driver - Kites the Flame Leviathan and interrupts spellcasting.

Siege Engine Passenger - Fires down pyrite ammo from the air, kills adds and lights Tar.

Demolisher Driver - Kites the Flame Leviathan and does damage; can light the Choppers' tar on fire.

Demolisher Passenger - Shoots down and salvages pyrite ammo and refills the demolisher; can also load the player into the demolisher to be launched. Players launched on top of the Flame Leviathan can destroy the Turrets there and weaken the boss.

Chopper - Plants inflammable tar and can quickly pick up and heal any players on foot to protect them from danger.

I did it as a DK with 17k health, and the more health YOU have the more health your MACHINE has. Passengers spam your rocket attack at the Flame Leviathan and voila, you're done. Drivers, if he attacks you, drive over the flammable tar until he targets someone else.
