Tried to do this quest earlier today, as a Valiant Rank and was unable to loot the book, now after hitting the Argent Valor achivement and rank, i was able to loot this item of the ground. This should give some help on why, or when you can loot this item.

Whilst trying not to spoil and indeed I have nothing to back up my theory, there is a very well known NPC who is at the centre of much argument and speculation as to wether he is going to make a return. I went into arena while mounted on a tournament horse and lance, and when I got out, it sent me to the Westfall graveyard (generally where it puts you when it gets confused on where you should be). I had already done the quest minutes ago, so it was highly annoying, but you can probably get a free port over there for this quest the same way. Perhaps a battleground would do the trick.

I got this quest and completed it as an Aspirant, no problem looting the book. It doesn't give a quest though, as implied by the earlier posts - you just return it to the questgiver and she gives you the "Seer's Crystal" quest.

Yes, Moonbrook.. 42.6, 69.5 .. right inside as you walk in. Bldg closest to Deadmine's entrance on west side.

No doubt you've heard the disturbing rumors about the contestant the others are calling the Black Knight. It's said that any rider who was scheduled to face him in combat has met an untimely end.

Of course, we have no definitive proof of anything, but it wouldn't hurt to look into this knight's background.

He claims to be descended from the Cooper family of Westfall. Would you visit their residence in the western part of Moonbrook in Westfall? See if you can find any proof of his story.
