Soloed as a level 79 tankadin, used seal and judge of light blessing of sanc, is my divine protection(not sheild) but probly didnt need it
I had 23500 HP unbuffed and went unbuffed, ended with 12,000 HP. His hits kept my mana up plenty using divine plea aswell, didnt even need laying of hands. Just like any other gorup quest for a Prot pally.....to easy

In order to do this quest, you MUST have completed Crusaders' Pinnacle Quest Line.
After that, you need to accept The Skybreaker (Alliance Only, don't know the name of the Horde one...) and then turn it in. You'll know that you have done this when you can accept the daily quest Slaves to Saronite (Both Sides). These two later quests are on the air ship that you faction holds in the zone.

Just soloed this quest as an 80 Disc/Holy Priest with Heroic/80s instance healing gear. He hits pretty hard on cloth, up to 3k at certain points. Still pretty easy, just started nuking and shielding myself, healing when necessary (only Flash Heal, Greater Heal takes too much time), and I even got him despite the fact that I accidentally aggroed another mob mid-way into the fight.

So yes, he's soloable, at least by healing classes :)

soloed him as a 79 prot warrior in dps gear with 18k hps. Just use all your cooldowns and stun him etc. Used enraged regen but not even sure I needed it. Pretty easy fight.

this guy has in the region of 50k health

i soloed with my 79 combat spec rogue and had to pull pretty much every trick i had.

also pay attention to surrounding adds if your gonna solo this, they fly close so i would clear them first. i aggroed one while i was fighting this guy and it nearly ended badly for me.

Soloed this as a level 80 shadow priest with different 70-80 quest reward gear, nothing special. cleared the cave of those flying mobs, just dotted him, feared him, mind blast, mind flay, sw:d when he ran, pw:shield when he came back, renewed dots, feared him again when the cooldown was over. he died during the second fear.
(I really thought I was going to die, but it turned out he didn't hit that hard.)
Soloable for us shadow priests too, even though I came out of the fight with less than 10% hp. So to bring a healing potion or a friend wont hurt.

Soloed as a level 80 fire Mage in mostly quest gear (~1200 spell damage), but I did have to pop a healing potion. Make sure you have the area cleared of mobs before you fight, since you'll have to kite him around a bit.

Soloed as a Lv.80 rogue, just sapped him, popped premeditation > garrote > rupture, then Evasion. Once I had full combo points I used eviscerate, and after getting another full combo points, refreshed rupture and and kidneyshot on the 3rd full combo again. Popped evasion again and repeat. I did use a pot though.

For DKs coming here, this fight is pretty trivial. He hits for maybe 1000, which you can easily overcome with Death Strike.

I'm unholy, so what I did was send in my ghoul first (who he missed twice before actually hitting), then ran in myself and did my standard attack rotation.

This guy also counts towards the Blood of the Chosen daily.

soloed this one today as lvl 77 bm hunter, just let pet get aggro and try to keep it alive by spamming mend pet, your pet will die however, but then you just pop Heart of the Phoenix and instantly ress your pet, feign death to give your pet aggro again and nuke/spam mend pet until the mob is dead

Solod as an 80 combat rogue with bad to mediocre gear. Didn't have to use a health pot, but it was a close fight. And no, that's not bragging, it's helping others determine if they can do the quest on their own or not. Get over it.

He was relatively easy with a Subt / Assassination spec Rogue (and a tiny bit Combat, but mostly Subt.) Sneak up, sap, Premed, Cheap Shot. Shadow Dance, multiple ambushes. Evade. Build up combo dots, Kidney Shot, more backstabs. Prep to refresh Evade, and so forth. I did use one pot and blinded him once to bandage, but it was overall not too tough. Just clear out the closest taskmasters first or they become a problem.

Soloed as a 77 Prot warrior, still wearing either Kara gear or quest greens. Cast shield wall at the start and Enraged Regeneration once my health went down to 60%. Didn't even need a healing pot, just dps and stunned when i could and he went down like a stone.

I'd imagine any class can solo this - either soak up the hits or dps him quick.

Soloable as a lvl80 holy priest, doesnt hit that hard, keep him dotted, and your self hotted. Bubble up when ever you can and just nuke him. Didnt even spend half my mana pool.

He's fearable.
Warlocks should have no qualms about soloing this one, just clear out the Taskmistresses and fear-lock him around the mine.

Soloed as a lvl 79 feral druid, no kiting necessary. Just applied all cat form bleeds (5 pt rip) and shifted to bear. Got an add mid fight, popped berserking and spammed mangle...shifted out to heal once (glyphed HT and a regrowth) and killed both the elite and add with about 400 hp left.

Look here is a strategy for all Blood DKs. Firstly be sure that you have your HOW on and you have at least 20RP. Begin your attack. When you have less than 70% of your total health use your Mark of Blood on him and your Vampiric Blood on you. Be sure to use your Rune Tap as soon as the CD finishes. When you hit 100RP use your Dancing Rune Weapon. And one last thing to remember NEVER USE HYSTERIA! It will kick your health REALLY low.

Don't down-rate this because it doesn't mention anything about this Q. It's just some help for Blood DKs.

It bears mentioning that since the cave is the location for a daily, you will almost certainly not be the only player there and one of them might jump in to help without being in a group with you. I helped a mage and the mage returned the favour.

For hunters out there, you can slow him and kite him around.. but ah! :)
The patrols in there is the problem.

Pop all cds, nuke him with your pet.. no DOTS.. when pet is low on hp, pop freezing trap, bandage it up, then its a win.

Fear, stun, you can use it all on him! So I think mostly classes could solo this without any supermajor problem at 77+ :) just beware of the valkyrias around, they are evil.

I just watched two level 80 demo warlocks fail to kill this fearable mob, then solo'd it in bearform (few heroic epics, mostly heroic blues).

Didn't break a sweat, I think I was still above 90% hp at the end of the fight.

Lesson learned.

Soloed this as an 80 combat dagger rogue, but a pat arrived as I was hammering the boss (should have cleared around the boss first). Managed to kill both, but I died at the same time.

Ran back. original boss was dead, waiting to be looted, but a new boss had spawned. Recovered body, looted original boss, vanished.

He's the only elite mob in the cave, located right next to the quest giver, you can't miss him.

I was able to solo him as a 79 warlock, easily because he is fearable! So if you are a warlock then this should be easy, i just recommending clearing a big area around him because once feared, theres no telling what he could run into.

Yea spriests he IS FEARABLE so its very easy for us, just did this on my 67 priest , just clear the other mobs first make sure you aggro him with your shadow fiend first so you get plenty of kiting room to start. Than fear him first and use your bubble , when your fear is about 7 seconds from cooldown use dispersion so you dont die fear again and that should do it.

just soloed as an 80 druid, mediocre gear, 25k hp, 30k ac self buffed. Tank form, frenzied regen, feral. Wasn't difficult so don't really need a group for this.

Easily solo'd him as a level 77 Unholy DK. No adds. Never got a low health warning. If the quest isn't marked 5-man (and even some of these) it's not a hassle for an Unholy DK to solo in this zone.

...I do this guy at the beginning of this video, in unexceptional gear (though enchanted if it was blue) and still learning the class which is completely alien from my rogue in every respect.

Soloed as a 79 blood DK with a ghoul, healing was limited to blood aura and death strike. The first try I ended up dying for not popping any cooldowns, but the second time with Dancing Rune Weapon, I fell at around 20% health but got him.

It is definitely soloable. I stumbled upon it while freeing the saronite slaves. I accepted the quest & the foreman attacked. I hadn't even read the thing, so I ran half a mile to evade the bloomin' elite, until I realized I'd run outta ground. Had to stand & fight - managed to kill him & voila! A Key! So I go back into the mine, free a few more slaves, and then as I pass by the darkspeaker, I free him also. Got his boots to prove it . . .

Soloed as my pre-Naxx level 80 restoration druid. He hits fairly hard on cloth/leather. So, just stacked HoTs on myself 3 times during the fight while spamming starfire. He had no chance against my 17k mana pool. If I had any use for critical rating, he would have gone down faster. So, perhaps a balance druid Moonkin with high crit and one set of HoTs could solo this too.

Do not afraid mages! This quest easily soloable, he is Rootable/Snareable so you just need to kite him. I'm specced to FFB, so i just used Combustion + Trinket + Icy veins, i was frost nova him 1 time, and used blink after it, with 2300dps as a lvl 79 FFB Mage i killed him after 20~ sec (Blue & Green geared). Easy XP! :)

As a frost mage he is easily soloable just summon ur elemental pet root him cast deep freeze and spam ice lance then just root him again and frostbolt cone of cold and a fire blast by then he should be dead

Soloed as lvl 78 feral druid. Make sure you clear at least 3 of the harpies down in the corner, thats were I pulled him to finish him off. Make sure you got all your cooldowns ready and perhaps a pot. Just stayed in bearform all the time, using berserk, dps trinket, frenzied generation, barkskin and health pot. Always keep faerie fire and demoralizing roar up and dont forget your barkskin it's only 1 min cd you can use it like 2-3 times during the whole fight, might help alot. If u have to heal urself, to do before you reach low health because he will throw a frostshock on you once you get away from him, hurts for around 2k +. I used nature's grasp when I had around 5-6 k of hp and then he got entangled and I could heal up for the last encounter :) Good luck!

Ret Pallies, it's yet another 3-man quest we can solo. I accidentally pulled the Foreman while freeing miners, realized he was the mob for this quest (as I'd looked up the name earlier when I spotted a faded "!" on my map), backpedaled my way to the questgiver, then finished battering him down to get the key.

He was hitting me for maybe 1.1k, and periodically frostshocking for about 2k. I didn't even need any of my cooldowns, just repeated use of AoW FoLs.
Basically, he is NOT hard if you're in plate.

Soloed 80 disc. priest with crap for gear (srsly just hit 80 an hour ago). buffed up, hit him with holy fire and swp, bubble, smite. when bubble was down used penance on myself to heal up/get a free bubble and kept at him until pw:shield was up. used shadow fiend and 1 health pot + power infusion towards the end there, but i have crap for gear so lol. cept my boots now are sweet

Everyone just try and solo it. I had some problems with 76 lvl group quests, and this quest is really easy compared to everything else, did it as muti rogue, used evasion at the beginning and had 30% hp when he died.

This is soloable as a lvl 80arc mage, just pop all ur cds, mirror images etc, then when he is about to hit u ice block, un ice block, blink away and dump all your spells into him

I just did this with ease on a lvl 77 Retribution paladin.

Bubbled once, where I proceeded to bandage and Flash heal and basicly just laid down a pounding on him. He does hit hard but with Stun and enough nuking, he goes down pretty easily. I threw in a healing pot there somewhere aswell.

What you need to look out for are the harpy like creatures that flies around.

Point I'm trying to make - don't be afraid to try him if you're a paladin that has a clue on what to do.

Very easy to solo as a 79 BM Hunter, just let you pet (I had a cat) tank him and when you finally get the agro (about 50% of health) lay down a snake and immolation trap then feign. After that I popped three cooldowns and brought him down extremely quickly (The cooldowns were not needed and I did not heal my pet)

Soloed as 79 aff lock w/ vw out. As stated, you MUST clear the other mobs. Even when you do, respawn for them is pretty quick. CoA, Corr, HF til I got aggro (which was quickly) then feared. kept reapplying coa & corr in between fears and bandaging. Got the key, but died after as my vw & I were almost of out health when two mobs showed up.

Frostweave nets work on him (the foreman) too, and he can be disarmed. If you are doing the daily quest to free the slaves there at 80 then I would recommend that you always kill the foreman when you get the chance as he drops a gold or more in cash most of the time along with some cloth and often a vendor grey. Depending on how long it takes you to free enough slaves you can make a fair bit of extra gold just by killing him every spawn.

Easy solo'ed as level 78 FFB mage. Use combustion, SP trinket and icy veins to start the fight... spam FBB. He gets near, you Frost Nova and run away and repeat FFB. he gets near again? Blast wave and FFB again. If the for last time he gets near, you cna use Dragon's Breath to get away. Try to get a Imp scorch and LB there too.

my method
Immolate -> Corruption -> Curse of Agony felgaurd run in now got all the agrro just keep agro below 90% and keep using Immolate,Corruption,Curse of Agony and when felgaurd goes below 5k-6k of health just Health Funnel back up to full watching the agro meter as you do it just keep repeating till he dies takes about half a min

(i find this method works well on most elites )

80 feral druid with good crafted gear, no dungeon gear.

I started in cat form till I was at about 50% health, he was at 60%. I switched to bear and finished with about 40% health. Seems like he has a lot of HP but doesn't hit that hard.

Easily soloable as a ret paladin in blues. Seal of Light + Judgement of Light + Sacred Shield and I never fell below 90% hp. If you're in greens maybe save your Art of War procs for Flash of Light. Honestly, using Seal of Light might have been overkill.
