After you fall down into the hole, the Crystal you need to talk to is under water (it is very small). This then leads to talking with the human boy down there to get the next quest.

If you leave without talking to the crystal under water, I recommend dropping "A Short Fuse" and picking it up again, as flying down here is fairly hard to do without dieing.

I'd say this quest was in reference to the season 3 cliffhanger of Babylon 5 -- Z'ha'dum -- Captain Sheridan is deep in enemy territory and calls down all heck to blow up the bad guys and his only hope at surviving is to jump into a deep, deep, deep, nearly endless pit.

path of frost = bad idea for this one...... trust me.

If you are a druid you can cast flight form and not fall down the hole if you don't want to.

Also, its great fun to watch a shaman stand by the hole and when people are about to do the quest, he casts water-walking on them and then jumps down and watches :D

By the way for a little lore, that pulsating organ is actually Arthas's heart which he threw down the pit when his soul was taken

After you fall down into the hole, the Crystal you need to talk to is under water (it is very small). This then leads to talking with the ghost of human boy down there to get the next quest (Time to Hide) which requires you to kill the Faceless Lurkers until you receive 3 blood samples. Once that is complete take the portal back to the surface and finish (Return to the Surface) at the ship - Orgrim's Hammer.

Look for clues wherever the fall takes you.

As you light the fuse, you notice that it is consumed by fire far quicker than you would expect.

The bombs are about to go off and your best chance at surviving is to lean towards the pit and hope the fall doesn't kill you.
