Soloed with a premade lvl 80 DK with premade gear on beta.

Hunter boss who jumps around alot and throws arrows when she's not meleeing. Got a aoe nuke (Flash Freeze) that she casts in a small radius around her (can be outranged) that does about 6k dmg and freezes everyone nearby in place for a few seconds.

The flash freeze is definitely not a "small radius" and may even effect further then max healing range.

Just 2 manned with Shadow priest & resto druid. There were a few close calls but we made it. Both were in pretty much full sunwell/black temple gear. As for the freeze, as far as we could tell you could not out range it.

Soloed as prot paladin. She does a lot of damage with her freeze, definitely use frost res aura. Otherwise she's doable, just bubble when you are low on HP, heal up, go at her again, LoH when low at HP and hang in there until she's dead. :)

The "flash freeze" is a magical debuff that lasts for up to three seconds, can be removed by a paladin/priest, and can be resisted. This attack is an instant attack and will prevent you from using any of your abilities. Trying to do so will give you an error message, "you can not do that while stunned". Abilities (such as a mage's ice block) and items (such as the PvP trinket), however, that can break the flash freeze.

I have 560 def, 20.9k hp, frost resist up and obviously prot.

This was extremely challenging, used bubble twice, loh, and a potion.

Therefore I suggest you get a group unless you are a tank or healer. Even so it just might be too hard. At least get a tank and healer, or dps and healer.

Super easy to duo with 80 rogue and priest. Priest barely has to do anything, just PoM on the rogue while rogue dpses and renew. After flash freeze, just binding heal to get both up to full and rinse and repeat. Flash freeze has huge range, way past healing range so just stay close by. Super easy.

Easily soloable as 80 hunter..

the trick is, first you send your pet in (in my case a Cat) its a pure dps cat so
healing it will not last, however when he is close to dying you send your pet back to yourself.
he will trow a spear or something, it hits me for 415 dmg.. and my pet also can outheal this getting back to full health.

then send your pet back in, this time your aggro is 2x that of your pet, but it only hits you for so little that you can keep nuking it. no challenge. but you do need some gear i suppose.

Soloed as a Unholy DK. Basically tank and spank untill she uses her freeze. Keep yourself topped of with Death strike at all times and if in trouble use death pact on your ghoul/potion.

This boss would be very difficult to solo for classes that don't have any heals.

She has 180k hp and hits around 1,3k on 25k armor

Duo'd with a Demon Warlock and Frost Mage. Just kept voidwalker out and health funneled and dotted while mage went all out. The last boss was kinda sucky...just pulled out voidwalker when Embershowered and healed void up and rinse and repeat.

soloed as prot pally, had to pot once, but very easy fight if you have frost resi aura on, her throw did like 250 dmg on me, and i resisted 1,5k of her flash freeze.

Just a comment for Death Knights: Ice Bound Fortitude makes you immune to stuns, and the Freeze she uses is considered a stun, so: About 5-10 seconds after she freezes you, use IBF and it will catch the next freeze, this way you can keep death striking her. All in all, not a very hard fight, I did death pact once but that's nothing compared to the 3 times I did on Balargarde/Banshee's revenge.

solo'd as affliction lock..

simply pick up all mobs with your void and keep them as long as you can.. then dot up as much as you can, while channeling health funnel..

make sure that you sacrifice him before he dies. kite the rest until it dies
use port if needed

Solo'd as DK. Did not use AOTD. Its pretty much tank/spank with Death Strike spam but hover your finger over the AMS button. Her Flash Freeze ability has a .5 second cast time and if you are very quick you can AMS it and be immune. Even if you miss, its not a big deal as it only does 4400 damage. Resume Death Strike spam for the win.

Soloable as a prot warrior in Ulduar gear, had 100 hp at the end.

If you have T8 4-pc try to pop Shield Block when you sense a Flash Freeze coming and spam charge when you're in the flash freeze.

As Feral this is so easy soloable, you could almost go to the toilet, while doing this.. well almost. Did this in Blues/Epics with tank specc but in (mostly) dps gear, just added 3-4 tank-items. Just keep lacerate, mangle & demo roar up. She does not too much damage, nothin you could not heal with frenzied regeneration. Berserk, Survival Instincts & Barkskin not needed.

Solo'd as warlock almost full nax25 man gear.
you need affliction spec, since you will tank it when he is around 75-80%.
you need hs and pot.
get your void tank her, heal your pet, dps her but carefull not to get aggro. dont heal your pet too much, let it die or else you will aggro. before pet dies, put all dots and ruuuun.
you have to be full hp when u start tanking her.
she hits only with ranged attacks, so if u are lucky, she will miss on some.
keep haunt up, and try to stay alive. use hs and pot after the icecube spell she does times to times.

Soloed as a 79 Prot Pally. 22k HP, 543 def, 75% avoidance.

Seal of Corruption, Frost Resist Aura, Blessing of Sanctuary. With 130 Frost Resist, I resisted 1100-1900 of her Flash Freeze, and 100-110 of her Frostbite Weapon. Used LoH near the end. One-shot. More annoying fight than difficult.

Quite easily soloed as an 80 Enhancement Shaman. Like all elites just use Feral Spirit and Shamanistic Rage to keep yourself healed up as you burn him down. Don't worry about the flash freeze too much, just heal yourself after it ends and you're fine.

I faction changed my Horde DK to an Alliance DK. Most quests you do that are not part of a neutral faction you have to re-do. As the Shadow Vault chain includes parts that are faction specific, you have to re-do it.

Interestingly, I have been able to take every quest up to this one. The Valhalas challenge ended abruptly at "The Return of Sigrid Iceborn" and wouldn't let me pick up "Carnage!".

I'm guessing it uses exactly the same quest for Horde and Alliance for "Carnage!", thus not letting me aquire it.

Soloed as SP in 5.5k GS Holy gear (i.e. lots of spirit and no spell hit) with 3200 spell power buffed (not procs).

Probably the easiest boss in this chain. She stands at range(!) and Throws things at you, occasionally using her Flash Freeze (3 second stun and damage).

Just DPS with normal rotation and heal when necessary. Might wanna toss a Renew on yourself when you think she's about to Flash Freeze you.

Should be no problem for most SPs I think.
