I dont understand what qualifies for credits to this quest.
In 3 kills I only got credits for 1 kill. I didn't get credits for a killing blow, it's not that you have to kill the target without help from others, I dont understand what it is.
The quest also says that you are to kill 20 of the strongest Alliance. Does that have anything to do with this?

Not a specific comment in this thread yet, but noticed that a lot of people are having trouble finding the Wintergrasp quest NPCs, so here we go:

Alright, here's how to find him. If you go at any random time to your landing site or the keep when a battle isn't scheduled any time soon, he'll most likely be there. However, both at the start and end of a battle, I assume as part of the process that resets Wintergrasp, EVERY quest NPC despawns. A few minutes after the start of the battle or the end of it, they'll spawn where they're supposed to be, either at the landing camp or in the fortress.

Edit - Example Process:

Alliance controls WG, 30 minutes until battle
He is spawned at the Flight Point
or
Horde controls WG, 30 minutes until battle
He is spawned in the Fortress

Battle Begins
He is despawned
About 5 minutes into battle
He respawns at wherever he was before the battle started

Battle Ends
He is again despawned
About 5 minutes after battle
He respawns in Fortress if Horde won, at the base camp if Alliance won

Though it's mostly obvious given where you pick up the quest, the quest text doesn't actually say it: kills outside of Wintergrasp (say, Eye of the Storm) do not count for this.

I've found that the place to farm these is the lake wintergrasp's surroundings. Depending on realm, you'd might want to bring a friend or two. They don't drop much loot tho.

The number of enemies needed for this quest is being dropped from 20 to 10 in Patch 3.1, along with its Alliance equivalent. NPCs defending forts and the south towers will also count towards this quest come 3.1.

I did that quest yesterday, about 45mins before next battle. I just Killed 10 alliance-NPC's.
If I saw correctly, quest granted Me over 3000 honor-points.

Can't be same as 25 man lockout timer. Finished the quest yesterday (monday) and picked it up again today.. and the reset is tomorrow as everybody should know. Maybe it is the 5 day lockout or even less.. kinda wierd as it is a weekly though.
Perhaps the timer is just bugged?

weird... from all those comments it semms like a quest with a weird timer... but i can pick it up everyday and since it's a quest it helps with the seeker title and doesnt eat up your dailies... Fun and easy...

Probably the easiest weekly quest for Wintergrasp. In an average Wintergrasp battle, this should be no problem to get, whether defending or attacking. If for some reason you don't get all the players you need, you can kill NPCs after the battle.

Because they changed it to killing NPCs as well, you can easily get this between battles if you aren't a big PvPer.

As of 3.3a, they seem to have 'fixed' the WG weeklies to not reset after four days.
