You can get the Rhino Meat from the Steppes Rhinos Northeast of Frosthold, around the Engine of the Maker and in the Foot Steppes. It's basically a 100% drop from them.

After you get the meat from the Foot Steppes, you'll find the Eagles in a location called Stormcrest, at 33,73.

Just fly around and use the meat when you have one targeted. Easy quest since you can do this while mounted.

Seeing as druids cannot use items in flight form, we either have to land and throw meat at the birds, or if you bought one, use your flying mount.

It took me forever to realize how to finish this quest, since QuestHelper didn't have all of the comments.

Druids CAN do this while in flight form. But don't feed the bird next to the quest giver, even if it says "Stormcrest Eagle". The birds are located at 32.40, 74.15 up on the mountaintop. Targeting is not necessary.

For those who don't have cords or anything, it can be pretty confusing to find the meat. That was my problem!

The first thing you'd have to do is, fly to almost straight north. Just to the right of Temple of Storms there is some sort of a hole in the ground (Engine of the Maker). The rhinos (which drops the meat) should be around there.

When you got all of your meat, you're ought to fly south once again, just a bit east for Frosthold. Up in all the mountains there are some hungry birds flying around, and it's those you'll have to feed. And as you can read in the other posts, you can feed them while mounted, which do it all easier.

You cannot get this quest before having completed Offering Thanks.

Guys I didn't find Stormcrest Eagles over the mountains in Stormcrest but I found them around the edges of frosthold. In fact there is one flying behind the quest giver.

Note that quest helper shows you where the eagles are, but doesn't show you where to get the rhino meat you need to feed them.

For this, easiest place IMO is around the Engine of the Makers, at 38,59. Then go to the eagles at 32,74.

Thanks for the location it's confirmed. Don't forget you can throw the meat to the eagles whilst mounted :)

If you don't have coordinates, just look to the east of the quest giver. The eagles are on top of the tall peak.

Terrible quest to find these stupid birds. Location of Stormcrest Eagles is at Storm Peaks/Stormcrest 32.7,73.8.

Fresh blood! Good to meet ya! I've got some work if you've got some time.

Off to the east are the Foot Steppes... pretty hard land, but there's quite a group of rhino that graze there. Our birds have a taste for that rhino meat, but it's always a bit dangerous for them to go hunting with all of the proto-drakes that nest around there.

If you're keen, head over that way and get some rhino meat, bring it back to the peaks above here, and then use it to feed some of the eagles that nest there.
