If you're moving around too quickly, you'll miss him. As you enter the Hold, go to the right, straight down the hall and then face left. Where the stairs are going upstairs, you should see a staircase going down. He's down there, don't be running all around killing the guy upstairs, there's no point.

This quest is confusing if you just charge in without paying attention. When you walk into the room that takes you upstairs go around the pillar and you'll see a narrow hallway. He's down there.

Note, that the last guy you need to kill is a real pain in the hind quarter's.

Most people who prolly zurged through the questline in the first couple days and did it in groups of at least 4 or at most 12 prolly never noticed that the guy Koltira keeps talking about hits for about 1400 if he catches you outside the bubble by using a single target knock back that has to be manually dodged.

it certainly was a pain to try and solo this one when no one was around... and i say try cause i can't for the love of god figure out how he keeps nailing me near the end.

ok head up if u fail the quest when you get it form Thassarian, just get rid of it and then go back in to the celer where he was before and you can do it there, i fount out after about an hour of being really mad! but all in all easy quest! have fun(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##hatman555##DELIM##

one thing to note :don't talk to him when he is running out of the hold (if someone else is doing the q) because it just messes everything up

Everyone is right...If you're not paying attention you will miss it. The moment you come to the opening for the stairs on the 1st lvl look directly to the right the doorway blends in..it almost looks like part of the wall... I posted a screenshot of the doorway since the only shots are of the guy on the table...I read this and read this and still managed to miss the door way...lol

I tried this and failed, somehow messed up my potions and died. Then he ran away and now I can't complete the quest. Is there another place he goes if you fail the first time? Or a way to restart the quest?

Yeah my internet died while everyone ran in and when i logged back in the prisoner was gone and i couldnt find the guy to take his head. any suggestions?

It's funny that the scourge can see something that the Horde and Alliance can not.
The Scourge are brothers in death like the Horde and Alliance are brothers in Life, both sharing a common goal, but the Living are still too proud to cooperate. But, I guess that's the point of the story.

Found a way to solo it

for the first wave icy touch them and death coil until they die they may come into melee so you should hit them :D

for the second wave just do the same thing and the same as the first wave is for the third wave

for Valgroth his smite knocks you back just keep getting back in the bubble icy touch and death coil him and get to the very edge of the bubble and you can melee him and use plague strike and heart strike

NOTE: you may have to use a Noths Special Brew.

NEED HELP REALLY BAD! i am stuck on this quest. i died while trying to kill the boss and when i ran to my body the boss guy was gone. so i abadoned my quest and went to try to get it back and the guy has no quest anymore. so i figured well sometimes it takes a little bit for the quest to become available again so i logged out at 3am signed back in at 1pm the next day and still no quest. i dont know what to do. i tried talkin to the lynch king and he keeps sayin to return to my stuidies and i dont see anymore quests. so what should i do?

i had some real problems with this quest until i saw the post that says its like a cupboard under the stairs. thanks for the help. i ran around the keep for at least 20 minutes :S lol fail

the stairs going down into the basement are under the stairs that go up to the main hall and are easy to miss.

Search for Koltira Deathweaver in the Scarlet Hold.

Descrizione

Breaking through the Scarlet lines was no easy task. We suffered many casualties during the assault and lost one of our best death knights, Koltira Deathweaver. I don't know whether he's dead or alive, but I'll be damned if we don't search for him.

I last saw him being bound in irons and dragged away to the Scarlet Hold, northeast of here. Tear that keep asunder, death knight. Find Koltira!
