I totally agree I hate this quest there has to be an easier way of doing this that I'm missing anyone have any suggestions

I officially hate this quest. Being able to do it seems to require memorising the location of every ingredient on his shelves. It's not just a case of running to a shelf and doing a quick scan of what's there since some of the ingredients only seem to be on one side.

I guess I should post something more useful. If you follow the link to thottbot for this quest there's a map showing where you can find each items in the room. I geneally don't like thottbot as much as this site but gotta give credit where it's due. Anyway, print out a copy of that map and have it handy for when you do the quest. When he tells you what he wants it only takes a few seconds to find it on the map and you go there. Can do the quest every time now. Keep in minds that most herbs are in both the north and south section but there are a few that are only in one or the other. It helps to remember which those are so you know which way to start running when they come up.
