When i started this quest Zepik said,"Too soon. You have awaken me too soon."

Unlike a normal mount, you surf atop the crocolisk's head as you progress to your location. Quite the right time to play some Beach Boys or what have.

As a Tauren, I traveled by surfing the crocolisk like a ride on a carpet.

More Zepik phrases:
"You should go let chickens out again and say Goregek did it. Never get old."
"Dajik tried to show me ways of hunt, but I do better when I do things my way."
"You ever fought big dragon or god or anything? Zepik like hearing stories."

Encountered a nasty bug with this Quest line. First quest with Goregek, the shackles never appeared in my inventory. I was baffled, but was able to drop the quest and restart it. on this part it went differently. While riding the Croc, I saw a Titanium node. I was frantic to get off and mine it, but couldnt do a thing. Soon as the ride was over, the horn, which I Had placed on my hotbar to make sure it was there, summoned him automatically. I turned int eh ride quest but didnt accept the next one. I flew back just in time to see somone else mining the ore... /sigh

However when i went back to the refuge... THE HORN WAS GONE! The High Shaman wont talk to me to give me another, and I cant drop the quest to restart because I have no quest in my log to drop!

So i wait for a GM.. who will prolly blame it on my UI...

you can easily dismount the croc by clicking the button in the bottom left corner of your screen..

Note that although its awesome, you don't HAVE to ride the crocolisk to complete the quest. I dismounted along the way for a titanium node, and went on my own.

The spot where the crock drops you off (46, 39) is just northwest of the tracks you need to investigate (at 40,43) for Dreadsaber Mastery: Stalking the Prey.

This would be a real fun mount. A mount that doesnt dismount you in water. But maybe decrease speed by 50%, and go 100% on land. Plus with a saddle this thing would look tight.

Any mobs you happen to pass while riding the crocolisk will ignore you.
Don't mess with things that have big jaws.

Blizzard should make this the first sea mount we already have lound mounts and flying mounts this is the only one missing.

I think the hardest part of this quest is when you're a Miner and en-route you have to resist the urge to hope off and take those Saronite veins that just HAPPEN to spawn where the croc passes and have to do the ride all over again. :(

If you're like me and confused why your summon isn't doing anything, you probably have multiple dudes in your bags you can summon. Check for the orange horn.

A Rough Ride

Ride the captive crocolisk to Mistwhisper Refuge and then speak to Zepik for further instructions.

If you lose Zepik's Hunting Horn, speak to Elder Harkek in Frenzyheart Hill.

Descrizione

Zepik is best hunter of the Frenzyheart. Zepik hunts big-tongues... ugly things near swamps that try to steal all stuff they can find.

Zepik going on long trek to break big-tongue shrine and try to scare them away. We no want big-tongues in this land anymore.

There a crocolisk chained on northeast side of hill, next to tree - go with Zepik and do what Zepik tell you.
