Interesting note: the cave that Plunderbeard resides in acts as a "safe haven". No monsters will follow you in, even if they are in combat with you. Thus, feel free to aggro as many monsters as you want on the way over to him.

Srrsyly, WoW head can be really a pain in the ass somethimes. First of all no one here have said where we enter the cave, how it looks like and wich ways to go. ive been at 84, 54 but i didnt find &*!@. Nothing cave like. NOTHING. so stop lying and gives us the real !@#$ing answer.

He is inside the Wintergarde Mausoleum (same area where you get the quest), when you go straight down inside the room with the gnomes, he's to the right. He is inside a little cave which is not shown on the mini-map. It's remnds me of the RavenHill Cemetary area in Darkshire, inside the mausoleum there which has a back route to the other mausoleum on the other side. Hope that helps more.

Do not make the mistake I did! Addons like QuestHelper can mislead you to thinking he's above-ground, especially more confusing since the coordinates line up with a tower that has no doors or entrances.

I went and killed a lvl 74 (elite) alone as a lvl 72 just to realize you have to talk to "Wyrmbait" to bring Icestorm. So if your doing this quest remember.............. talk to "Wyrmbait" and save yourself some time

When going after him, I found it easiest to take off my armor and just run and die. I was able to res in the cave. Also, the medallion of the alliance doesn't seem to be much help. I'm sure it took off some effect, but, there were just too many on me.

Straight down the steps, all the way to the back of the room at the end of the hall and then to the right. He's laying right there.

You can run through the rooms (for instance using devine shield) to the end and turn right. Once you are in the begin of the tunnel, where plunderbeard lies, the attackers don't follow you anymore.

Ambo Cash at the Wintergarde Mausoleum in Dragonblight wants you to find Plunderbeard.

Descrizione

There's been talk of a tunnel dug by Scourge that connects the embalming chambers of the mausoleum with the large crypts, now unearthed by Thel'zan and his minions. I recently sent my best rogue, Plunderbeard, in search of answers, but have yet to hear back from him. If I were a betting man I'd wager that he's a goner.

I want you to go down those steps and head straight through the embalming chamber and look for Plunderbeard. Dead or alive, he'll have answers.
