Similar to the Ring of Blood event, each quest works like an escort, when someone in your party starts the quest all party members nearby will have to accept the quest. For the first four quests, you should ideally have the designated tank start the quest since the starter will get initial aggro. If your tank doesn't have the quest he can still easily pull aggro right at the start and continue the fight from there.

solo'd the whole chain as a protection paladin using judgement of light, seal of wisdom, occasionaly healing myself. improved hammer of justice.

He hits for about 2800ish on a normal shot. Additionally, he has Maul and Swipe special attacks (similar to the druid versions). I was fighting him alone so didn't see if there are any Feral Charge-like abilities. Overall Rustblood is a simple tank and spank.

This piece of crap kept dropping aggro on my pet. It was really annoying!

This quest's 'target' does a knockback which completely drops agro on the tank, and hence most people who solo elites relying on pets will find this difficult.

As a SL/FG Lock I am used to soloing group quests, leaving agro on the FG while slowly bringing the enemy down. Unfortunately the agro dump on my FG ended up in me dying several times, even after soul shattering + trying to kite him around to let the FG regain agro.

Don't even try soloing this quest as a demonology warlock. On 76lv I tried a lot of strategies and nothing worked, can't do anything against his aggro dump. Just a waste of time.

The only group quest I've come across so far that I can't solo on my demonology lock. Yep, don't waste your time attempting this, move on. Though you can do the first 2 easily.

Simple tank and spank fight, if you have good enough gear as a DK you will be able to do it

spam death strike, keep diseases up and you will win eventually.

Did this on a level 73 Blood tank DK
